StarsCaption version 0.87a/0.87 its a bit random about closing tables automatically when reaching x amount of bb. I think 0.86 worked better, but not 100% sure.

The last 3 or 4 tables where i reached 180bb, sits me out, but then didn't close the table. Was working fine the last couple of hours. But it usually goes like this, after a while stops doing it. If i manually close it, it auto opens fine.

Anything i can do in the settings to improve this? Maybe i missing something. Or send some logs.

This is in Pokerstars.pt, build 39244, "Sit out next hand if stack more then 180bb", "Zoom only" and "clise table" checked.

hi, in satrscaption, in betscript, can you add "push if bet x% of stack effective"?
works fine just now, but I think its better with effective stack option.

When you move the note icon element or player pod (not sure exactly), sometimes it does something like this after resizing the table.

An update on this issue. I can "fix it" by using the "Sitout mode" on the StarsCaption HUD.

When i sitout at a table because i have x amount of blinds and the table doesn't close, i click and unclick right away the "Sitout mode" on SC HUD and i play another hand at that table that didn't close, SC sits me out again and then auto closes the table (and opens a new one).

This usually works.

Don't know if this helps anyway to figure out the problem, but here it is.

So, thanks to Aurora and Starshelper not working with it, I 've been experimenting with Starscaption. I heard good things about it and they are justified. Congrats, it's a great program.

However, I did come across a couple of bugs and features I 'd like to see:

1. I guess I am in the minority, but I stack tables.This means I use cycle forward and backward a lot. They aren't working properly. If you click cycle backward, once you reach the final table, you go into the lobby and you are stuck; you have to use your mouse to return to a table.

Both when clicked take my hud panels away for some reason. I can also hear the sounds of the table behind and not the table in front. I need to click on the table with my mouse in order to get back my hud panels and listen to the sounds corresponding to the table I see.

2. When I clicked on an advanced fold, the advanced action panel disappears. If I click on fold again (two times too I think), it reappears, but fold is still checked. I had to click a third time for fold to be unchecked.

Ideally, the advanced action panel wouldn't disappear and advanced fold would be simply checked and unchecked.

I do use the same hotkey for fold and advnaced fold it that makes a difference.

3. I would really like it if the close table button and bring most urgent table upfront worked throughout windows. That is if I were able to close any window with the assigned key and If I were able to go the most urgent table even if I were on my internet browser or the poker lobby.

4. I love the layout editor. It would be great if we were also able to move seat pods and the position of player name and stack size.

5. Can we the option to set the width and height of various panels? I used two player panels one on top of each other and they change sizes every hand and that triggers my OCD.

When the action gets to you on a stars table, how do you have it set to the betbox where you can then adjust the bet size by just typing straight from the keypad? Thus in order for me to type in the bet box, i need to manually take my mouse and click on the bet box.


I want it where when action is on my stars table, i type in the bet amount in preflop or postflop just like that. I remember i did this setting on party with partycaption. How do i do this with starscaption? I assume 888 with 888caption would be the same as well?

Also I notice everytime you register for like one of those special events satellites on stars, such as whether its wcoop, scoop, bounty builder series, it always gives you that message of are you sure you want to register and how it says you have to play in that tournament if you win a seat.


Is there a way to not have this message pop up every single time you register for a satellite in those stars special series tournaments? It doesn't show up for any other tournaments or satellites though.



Also, someone mentioned this as well but everytime you bust out of a satellite on stars, there is always that popup where it shows the other satellites you could play to that satellite you just busted out and you need to X it out each time. How do you get rid of this?

1a. What do you mean on 'you go into the lobby'? Is the lobby under the tables and does this hotkey take you there?
I don't quite understand what exactly is going on.

1b. Try to enable Options / Table under mouse bring to foreground, I hope it helps.

2. What do you mean on 'advanced action panel'? If you mean pre-action Fold button - does it works by another way without StarsCaption?

There is no such option for the original Stars bet box, but you can use Convert chips / Custom bet box, it has a such option.

Please show me screenshots of both these windows and I'll try to check it.

1. I have two tables open. They are maximized. They are stacked. If I click cycle forward, I go from table 1 to table to 2 to table 1 to table 2 etc.

If I click cycle backward, I go from table 2 to table 1 to pokerstars lobby. Then neither cycle forward or backward does anything.

Either way, as soon as I click either option, the HUD panel for the table disappears.

2. Yes, I mean preaction fold. If I click it with the mouse, it works fine, I can check and uncheck it.

3. It would be great if you did, especially the go urgent table being universal, is great because right now this doesn't work even if you are the PS lobby registering for an SNG.

Hey, I am having an issue since the update, my stack size displayed on the table is displaying 100x my actual stack I have attached a SS below.

So I check the use custom bet box and then uncheck only if chat minimized right? Or keep that checked? My tab on stars tables is on info if that maters.
Also with highlight bet amount and numeric input activates the custom bet box checked as default?


The original default setting seem to show highlight bet amount, numeric input activates the custom bet box and only if chat minimized all checked. But use custom bet box unchecked.


Thing is currently you need to manually click on that stars bet box in order to type the chips or bb you want to bet or raise. But I had thought you could make it like party where when action is on you... just type from your numeric keypad so you don't need to move your mouse each time for that. So you say stars doesn't have this option but has this custom bet box.

1. Yes, it seems it might work this way if the lobby is in the same place as the tables. I'll try to think how to fix it. For now you can try to use Lobby / Hide/show lobby hotkey to hide it from the screen.
2. I still don't understand what exactly is going on there. Can you show me some screenshots of what it looks like?
3. Ok I'll try to add an option to make Most urgent hotkey global.

1. FWIW, I return to whichever window I had open before I went to the table (browser, music player etc). And obviously having the PT4 HUd panel disappear is a big issue.

Dunno if it helps, but I gave feedback when Table Tamer was built and we had a similar issue and the developer was eventually able to solve it.

2. Sorry, reverted today to the old engine and I can't make a screenshot, but I ll describe the problem again.

I have set the same hotkey for the action fold AND for the preaction fold.

Sometimes I click fold on the preaction panel at the bottom of the table. When I do that, the preaction panel disappears. If I click fold again, the preaction panel reappears, but fold is still checked on the panel. I have to press fold a third time in order for fold to become unckecked.

Ideally, the panel would never disappear after I 've chosen an action and also clicking fold once would choose the advanced fold option and clicking a second time would uncheck that option.

I've never seen a pre-action button disappear after being clicked and I have no idea what might be causing this.
