StarsCaption and PartyCaption had such options in the past, but some time ago they were forbidden by Stars and Party and I removed them from the programs.
I did not try to add this option to 888Caption, because I think that it will be prohibited there too.

StarsCaption has Action blocking options - this is for other purposes, but you may find it useful as well.

My mouse cursor jumps to close the table after my spins tournament finishes. And it stays in that position until I move it myself, instead of being at the table I was active on.
I don't remember this happening before, so I think it's most likely happening after a recent Partypoker software update.
I think I know why it's happening though
I have 'Auto close tourneys after finishing' Close time 2 vers 3. I need to do more testing, but I've tested a couple of settings here already, the problem doesn't seem to occur, if I change the close time to 5 seconds, but ideally I'd prefer to be able to continue as before and close the finished table quickly and automatically registering quickly.

No, I don't have any of these options enabled. I tested a few other things too to rule them out, and the thing that makes a difference is changing the
'Auto close tourney tables after finishing' Close time to 4 seconds or greater. When I have it at 2 or 3, it manually moves the mouse (instead of programmatically) to click the close button and doesn't move it back to original position.

I've only noticed this over the last day or 2, and there was a Partypoker update recently (perhaps yesterday or day before), so really think that has something to do with the issue.

Hey, my hud and table highlight are not correctly overlaid on my table. The highlight and hud think the table is a bit smaller and higher/to the left of where the table actually is.

Ive tried resetting everything, occsionally a table will self correct itself as well.

Ivanka2024, most likely you have two displays with different scaling settings.
In this case PartyCaption will work correctly on a display where it placed only.
Try to configure 'Override high DPI scaling behaviour. Scaling performed by: / System (Enhanced)' here:

Maybe Application or System also helps, so you can try these options at first.

I'm playing on partypoker and I'm trying to setup a hotkey such that when pressed it checks or calls. I selected the Call option available in Basic Hotkeys but this didn't work. Then I tried the Second button (Call check) and this also didn't work. What may be causing the issue?
It is worth noting that other hotkey options such as the Check/Fold hotkey or Third button are working fine.

Nevermind, looks like party had to be running in admin mode. Still testing this software.

So i play stacked tabled on pokerstars.I would like to have a table to pop up when action is required BUT only when i am done with the current table.

Now it happens that while i am about to taking action on a certain table ,a new table pops up and this leads to a lot of misclicks.

What option for table activation do you use now?
There are 3 ways now:
1. Options / Popup table whenever action is required in StarsCaption
2. The same option (Popup table whenever action is required) in PokerStars client
3. Multi-stack activation mode in StarsCaption / Table manager 2.

I currently have both options 1 and 2 checked,but still a new table pops up even when in middle of a hand , taking priority

omegamaster, you do not need to activate two of them, because these options will compete with each other.
Try to use only one of them.

So I mentioned how with 888 and 888caption2, I have a tags in the hud that shows



TL_prize value

TL_nextprize value

TL_nextprize




So for example say 300 players in a tournament and say 40 players get paid to make it simple. Once the tournament late reg is over, it does not show 40 players get paid... until I click on the lobby tag that i created. That is how its suppose to be done right? But once i click on the lobby tag and wait a few seconds, then it shows 40 and shows the prize money for 40th place. Then say its down to 39 players. Say the next pay jump is 32nd place.



Well it would show 32th place... the current payout... and the next payout prize etc.



The thing is when you aren't in them money and click on lobby, it does seem to show how many prizes are paid according to the current number of players. So say only 60 players at the moment, it might show 9 players paid since that is what is shown in the lobby when you look at current payouts.

Now compare this with starscaption. I have the tags

TL_next prize


TL_nextprizevalue



TL-nextprize is the only one I clicked visible... the other two I did not.



Now with stars and starscaption with tags in the hud, what I notice that is it is similar to 888caption except a few important things. For example, when you are playing a tournament at the start, it doesn't show how many players get paid unless you click the lobby. But say 300 players are registered at the start and say 40 get paid. Well assuming you don't click anything.... any reason why the number 3 always show up as the number? For example assuming you don't click on lobby tag for the first few hour of a tournament... it shows that. But once late reg is over, you click on lobby tag and wait a bit, it then shows like say 250 players get paid etc. But once it is ITM... let say its 245 players now, you need to click on lobby each time for the next payjump. Example... 250 players get paid... then say next payout is 200. You need to click on lobby and wait a bit... then it shows 200. With 888caption2, it automatically does it itself. So this is only a starscaption issue?



Also, unlike 888caption, I remember i clicked visible only for the TL_next prize because I recall its mentioned... if you want the current stars payout amount prize and the next stars payout prize then you need to have the tournament lobby open for that tournament... is that true? If that is the case, then obviously it make zero sense to do this especially if you play lot of tournaments at once? Can't imagine say 10 tables or more and then for each table... you have the tournament lobby open for each as the bottom of the task bar is going to have way too many things.



I have those 3 all visible for 888caption2... but not for starscaption. So basically you can't make starscaption like 888caption2 then in terms of seeing the current payout prize amount ?and next payout prize amount?

Again the reason why I didn't check mark visible for the first two on starscaption as it doesn't show the prize value and next prize UNLESS i have the stars lobby opened for that specific tournament. So if you are playing 10 tournaments or more, you don't want 10+ lobbies opened as well since they going to take up way too much space in the taskbar.



But with 888caption2, there doesn't seem to be this issue. The next payjump and prize amount and current prize amount will automatically update. For stars, it doesn't, unless you click on the lobby and wait a few seconds.



But the main similarity with both 888caption2 and starscaption 2 is... it never shows the correct amount of players being paid currently... unless you click on the lobby tag during a tournament. For example on 888, let say a tournament takes 3.5 hours to be ITM. Assuming you play that tournament and never clicked on the lobby layout and wait a bit.. let say 3 hours in... it would never display in the tag how many players currently pay out. And let say it hits the money. You still don't see it. So you could literally not see how many players get paid and the current prize amount and next payjump until you click on lobby and wait a few seconds. So this is completely normal right with 888caption2? If so, that isn't that bad compared to starscaption with this.



But let say you do this say 30 minutes into a tournament. You have to wait a while and then it shows the correct amount of players being paid at the moment, even though late reg might be another 2.5 hours. But many times, it showing 18 players being paid... will go back to the number 3... I don't know why but it always show 3 or 1? It seems like unless you are in the money, it could show the correct amount of players paid but then that number change to 3 or 1 a bit later on? Not sure if this is a glitch or not.
