I can not find option in caption to click "i'm back" on this pop-up. I believe I looked everywhere 2-3 times but I not see it, could be I am missing something.

Unfortunately, I have never seen this window. I've tried waiting for over an hour but it doesn't appear. I can try to do a processing for it, but for that I need a dump of this window. If you can send me a dump, I'll try to do it.
To make a dump:
1. Configure Options / Debug / Window dump hotkey.
2. Wait for this window to appear.
3. Move a mouse cursor to this window.
4. Use this hotkey.
5. Send me this file: c:\888Caption2\dumps\window_dump

Same issue brought me here, waited for it and clicked the hotkey multiple times.

Still no such thing as a dumps folder unfortunately.

I already have a dump and I will try to make a test version in the coming days

How to open Note Editor in StarsCaption? I checked "Use note editor" on Options bookmark but I still see default PokerStars note editor. Do I need to set up any OnClick actions? I use old engine (not Aurora).

ok, I found an info that Note Editor works only for Aurora

Yes it works with Aurora only.
Probably I could make support for the old engine too, but do not think it makes sense right now - most likely it will soon stop working completely.

stars caption no longer working for Pennsylvania (PA)

For now you can use previous vesion (StarsCaption v0.83a), it should work with the latest USPA build.
I'll try to fix it in the next version of StarsCaption too.

2. Layout editor / Move elements / Table elements
Left-bottom checkboxes (Sit out next hand, etc)

Moving checkboxes in the lower left corner of a table.
The first option moves the entire group of checkboxes along with the collapse / expand button, the rest of the options move individual checkboxes within the group.

3. Layout editor / Hide elements / Hide left-bottom checkboxes (Sit out next hand, etc) / Clickable
The Clickable suboption allows you to hide a group of checkboxes, leaving the possibility of clicking on them - in case you use hotkeys or buttons in the HUD to switch these checkboxes.


4. Table highlight / Table with minimum total time until the end of turn
Highlight of the table with a minimum time to the end of the turn.

I downloaded this new version v0.84 but I get an error message when attempting to double click and install it saying "this app can't run on your PC". I'm using Windows 10. The graphic icon of the installation file does not have the same visual appearence as your other .exe versions. I went ahead and downloaded v0.83a and that should suffice for now I'm guessing

Can you play on stars without aurora? Someone mentioned that is no longer possible. Haven't played on stars in a bit.



So at the moment, im playing on party and 888 and use partycaption and 888caption. I do have starscaption opened though because i use the table manager 2 on starscaption for my party tables... the layout etc. I use 888caption for 888 table layout etc.



I then went to starscaption as im trying to add a different layout but very similar. Right now im using 2 monitors... 32' 3840x2160 monitor where i put 12 tables tiled on it. I do have a 24' 1920x1200 monitor next to it... where you can put 4 tables on it. So you can do 16 tables total with no overlap etc on these 2 monitors. I wanted to add 2 more tables... but this time... do it on my laptop screen. Thus imagine on my table... you got laptop on left side of table, 32' monitor in middle and 24' monitor to the right. So i could put 18 tables no overlap with 3 screens.


What I then did was open like 18 tables on stars. Then clicked on my current layout on table manager 2 where you get 12 tables on the 32' monitor and 4 tables on the 24' monitor. Then with the other 2 tables, i manually moved them to my laptop screen. Of course before doing this, i had to uncheck active on table manager 2. When I did this, i then clicked on add new layout and then saved it.


My issue with this though is how come on table types... it only shows

It's strange.
I don't know what could be the reason. Perhaps the file has not been downloaded to the end, try to check it (the file size should be about 3 MB).

yeap, its possible. You need to disable Aurora adding this parameter to your user.ini file:

LegacyPokerTable=1

I'm not sure is it working with current PokerStars client version, might u need to use any previous version. Of course, u should beware of updates.

Is it possible to change the background of flash spins on Stars, in Starscaption?
I just want to get rid of colouring of the multiplier and the lightning flashes.
Seems the Layout Editor is working fine for normal spins.
For normal spins, starscaption is working fine.

I did those paramaters a while back on the user.ini file as suggested by someone else and that worked.


But right now, does it still work? I haven't played on stars in a bit but when i log in and observe tables... it does seem to not have aurora? The thing is everytime i open stars, i do it from the desktop icon as oppose to start menu so it doesn't update. So that means i could play without aurora until it mandatory makes me update the stars client?

I already have starscaption license in PokerStars but I downloaded new version PokerStars.eu now it does not detect my license.

If I login using PokerStars client, it tells me I cannot play and I have to go back to PokerStars.eu client.

Please give me your License ID or Stars account name and I'll update your license.
Most likely you have used a different type of poker client before (PokerStars.com, for example). Different Stars clients have different codes in License ID, so your license will not be detected correctly if client type has been changed (with PokerStars.com you will have a License ID like STZ#ACC_NAME#0 and with PokerStars.eu it will be STZ#ACC_NAME#1).

Also if you play on two stars clients at the same time (PokerStars.eu and PokerStars.es for example), then you have to link a 2nd account to your license, as it described here.
