I am using table manager 2 on stars caption to arrange tables for both party and pokerstars. I have 6 slots set up with all new tables ( party and pokerstars) opening in the top middle slot. Currently I move all party tables to the top left and bottom left slots and use the other 4 slots for my pokerstars tables. Is it possible for party tables to open in the top left slot and pokerstars tables to reamain opening in the top middle slot ?

balls'n'all, yes, you can configure it in Slot options / Use for table types. Turn off a partypoker table type checkbox for all slots except the top left.

there is a bug going around on stars for some users, that make their holecards hidden (until they restart pokerstars)

has been around for a while without getting fixed, so i'd like to ask ....

is it possible to get a hud stat "handcards" as in: it would show "AcAd" "7d2h" etc?

not sure if it is against Tos, but if it isn't, that would be a nice addition

Sometimes I got sit out due to my bad connection, I've tried to set SC to never sit out it but it doesn't work

So I'd like to never sit out unless I've checked the small box "Sit out on the next BB".
What am I doing wrong? TBH I never understood why when I got disconnected PS auto sit me out instead of auto-add me time with the time bank

I'll try to think about it. Now this function works correctly only in case of a timeout, but the case of a bad connection probably needs a special implementation.

Did a clean reinstall of windows 10 pro on my laptop and wiped everything. I am not sure if I saved the settings for each of the captions, starscaption, partycatpion, 888caption. Is there a way to find out If I did? I know I have to download all these programs again.


I had the settings such as bet sizing/table tiling the way I want it in these settings. Which files do I need to look for to see if I have the settings for these? Since I wouldn't want to start over and manually set up the settings again?



Also, it is mentioned that if you play on gg, you could use the table arrangement with starscaption? I know that I used the starscaption table manager 2 for stars and party and find it useful. With 888, I had its own separate table manager for that.

PaulyJames200x, you can use Options / Load settings backup to restore settings from backup file (it can be saved via Save settings backup external file, or you can find an ini file in a copy of your old StarsCaption/888Caption/PartyCaption folder if you have it).

You can use Table manager 2 to arrange table or any poker client. Click Table types / Reset to default there and predefined types will be added for 888, party, GG and Winamax. Also you can read a description on the site if you want to add table type for any other poker table (or even just for any window).

Since today my General HUD isnt displaying anymore on my desktop.

Table panels, player panels work fine.

Need to redownload starscaption, 888caption and partycaption. Is this the official link below to download all the captions? I was only able to find the link when clicking on partycaption. When I clicked on starscaption and 888caption, there was nothing show up to download except description of starscaption and 888caption.

Hi again. I remember using Table Manager 2 to arrange tables for stars and party. With 888, I used the table manager from 888caption and it worked fine back then.


I took a look at my old files that I did save, I do see an old file called 888caption settings.ini. Also see old folders like 888lobbysettings.json, 888notes.xml, 888quicknotes.json and 888usersettings.xml. The rest of those are 888 settings right?


I do not see any stars or party that is called like starscaption settings.ini or partycaption settings.ini though. That would mean I need to start all over again?


The thing is does your computer automatically or every once in a while create that .ini file for you to backup? I don't think I ever seen a starscaption.ini file or partycaption file ever. I did recall seeing the 888 one but I might have created it myself?

I think Stars has introduced a new feature on zoom tables where clicking on "fast fold" does not go straight to the next hand but rather displays another "new hand" button that you have to click in order to skip the current hand.

I wasn't able to find anything in the client settings to disable this. Basically any "fast fold" is now a forced "fold and watch" unless you click another button.

Please tell me if I'm wrong and I've just somehow inadvertently misconfigured Stars myself. In case the above is correct, is it possible to have an "auto-click 'new hand' button" feature on StarsCaption to tackle that?

Forget it, it appears to have been a glitch because I can no longer reproduce the issue lol!

2. Yes, if you really haven't them and you don't have any settings backups.

3. StarsCaption folder always contains StarsCaption.ini file, if you have run the program at least once. There is also PCaption.ini in PartyCaption folder.
You don't need to find these files manually, use Options / Save settings backup instead.

So I went and load settings backup of that 888caption settings.ini file into 888caption. The thing is I do see lot of settings getting restored when I check on the different tabs. The thing is that ini file... it was saved from a while back. So it might not been as updated as the last time I played.



The thing I did notice was how come there doesn't appear to be anything in table manager besides the default 888caption gives you? So the backup settings don't save this for you?
I had several different configurations I made for 888caption for the table manager but I don't see any of them there?

PaulyJames200x, yes - there are no Table manager configs in main backup and they must be saved separately (they are separate files in c:\888Caption2\TableManagerConfigs folder and you have to make a copy of them manually if you need them).

Is there any release log? I'd like to know when my issue got solved without bothering you

Close spin tables once its finished? After playing a few of them, you get you placed in so and so place. But you still have to close that message and also the table.


Close sng tables once its finished? Is this under sng/mtt tab of auto close tourney tables after x seconds? So i put 5 seconds but what version is it? I assume its either version 2 or 3.
