Tilt Breaker is currently only for Windows. I am definitely considering a Mac version, but this would not happen for awhile; there is still a good amount of things I would like to add to the Windows version first.

Thanks for your interest,

To Do List Before Re-Launch:
  • Add AP/UB cashier blocking (option)
  • Fix bug with Table Ninja compatibility during "Sit Out Next Hand" checking
  • Add fix for Stars new "Auto Take Seat" feature
  • Add a stop/win Big Blinds Auto Break value
  • Fix a Hand History parsing bug that is reading user raises incorrectly

I will probably put the final website out publicly next week from which people will be able to download the latest beta and get more information about all the new features. Then once that to do list is complete, it will be available for purchase.

Yes, ipoker is still planned. However it is difficult for me to give a date. There are a lot of variables, and most importantly, I need to see some love for the program before I keep investing in it. So spread the word!

I would be very interested in this but the site says under construction. What I would really want a software to do is to be able to configure a session maximum time, a stop loss and a stop win (or even if this stop win beeing configured as a rolling trailing stop would be 5 stars). Are you planning on developing these features (if you do I will insta buy).

hi, i currently use tiltbreaker
i can confirm
1) stop loss is working. ( you set set amount or from session peak)
2) session time to end is working.
3)i'm not sure about stop win, i didn't set that.

Ferdinand,

Every single one of those features is currently supported and working bug free. In fact we just found the cause of the very last bug from the beta testers, so the software is ready for public release.

Can you explain your vision for the trailing Stop Win? Tilt Breaker currently has a Stop Loss from session peak feature which might be the same concept. Basically, your stop loss amount is subtracted from the peak of your session. An example, You have your Stop Loss value at -$500 from session peak. You win $600 in the first hand, then lose $500 the next hand. Even though you are up $100, you will go into lockdown b/c you lost your Stop Loss value (-$500). Is this the same concept you were describing?

Just a few administrative changes to make on the website and software and Tilt Breaker will be ready for public release.

Interesting start up quote I read the other day "The last 10% before launch takes just as much effort as the first 90%". Incredibly true.....

semi-grunching this thread, didn't see this kind of feature on the website:

How about something to block rage chat? I don't know how this would work but maybe it could work along the lines of:

lose pot > x bb
user specified allowed chat for that table, "nh" or whatever, for the next 5 hands
anything outside of allowed chat blocks chat on all tables for a period of time

Actually go to www.tiltbreaker.com/features/. The free trial download is on every page though. The true public release build is available on the site now!

The site construction landing page will be down within 24 hrs, and the OP will hopefully be edited with all the new features as well.

I will be running a promotion for free licenses once the site goes lives, details to be posted then.

Thanks,

Raging in the chat definitely made my top ten list for tilt triggers. I don't have anything planned to combat that yet feature wise, but I will definitely be doing some brainstorming on it.

thanks for the suggestion, keep em coming guys.

Reddev,

Here is the to do list before we look at supporting additional sites:
  • Add Stop Loss BB (This should be released relatively soon)
  • Add Bankroll Manager Feature
    1. User sets a max stake for Cash games and a max buy-in for tournaments
    2. User selects game types to block; i.e. PLO, Turbos, HU, 6-max, etc
    3. User sets time frame for parameters to be enforced
  • Add Tournament Support for FTP, AP, UB (Stars is going to take more time)
  • Add Rakeback earned

I am pushing to have all of this done within 4-6 weeks.

I think my promotional post is getting missed, so let me make it a little more noticeable this time.

PROMOTIONAL FREE LICENSE GIVE AWAY

The first 5 people to make a tilt rage post on the Tilt Breaker facebook page about anything that tilts you will get a free lifetime license code.

Two feature requests.

1. There is now an option to not jam the sitout hand box when TB activates.

This is great as the feature directly conflicted with Table Ninjas "automatically sit back in" feature.

The TB feature also does not untick the "auto post blinds" option. As Table Ninja dosent do anything if this is ticked / untiked, Id like TB to untick the auto post BB when activated, but stay as it is with regards to jamming the sitoutr box.

2. I use a program called Stack and tile. This is in its beta stages, but there are one or two other similar programs in the pipeline, so its something you will hear more of in the future.

S&T automatically resizes and moves tables ariund allowing you to play 16+ tables easily on a normal sized monitor.

Whan the TB timer comes up, S&T sees it, thinks its a table and then tries to move and rezise it. Of course it cant so it tries again and again. This sends CPU usage way up and creates major lag issues. I think TB could get around this if there were a small popup that came up from the system tray and then disappeared after say 10 seconds.

In fact just thinking about it, It might be OK if there were an option to auto minimise the current popup after a set time.

You might ask, why not just minimise it yourself! but S&T is moving tables around all the time so the popup keeps getting moved and having tables put on top of it, so its difficult to actually get the cursor over it in time.

.........

Other than that, TB seems to be working very well and is definitely a program I would recommend. The auto break functions are very very useful to poker player who dont even tilt that much, but would like to regulate their play a bit more.

Hi

Have been using your application and have a suggestion or 2 for it.

(1) I think its very useful for timing my session. But most of the time I'm not on tilt at the end of the session and I don't like it just shutting down all my tables. I may want to carry on if there's some good action or big fish on the tables. Not really sure how to implement this but maybe a "lighter" version of the lock out? Like prevent you from opening new tables and showing a flashing icon telling you to finish off? Not sure like I said...

(2) More a pokerstars specific thing maybe, but when I finish a session I like to stop when the big blind reaches me so I have full "value" for my blinds. I don't like it shutting down my table after posting the big blind.. ironicallly that tilts me.

I love the shutdown options for the stop loss but its a bit harsh for the time up sections?

Stu,

I am going to try to coordinate with the S&T developer to figure this out. Worst case scenario, I will just have it so that the Delay Timer minimizes after 5 sec or something.

As for the untick Auto post blinds, what if I just add Sit Out Next BB support? That should be the same result right?

Important question for you: You mentioned to keep the SONH jamming specifically. I was actually considering removing the jamming aspect. Do you find the jamming valuable? Have you tried to sit back in and play before the delay timer finished?

The reason for me considering removing it is b/c if the poker client changes that configuration slightly, it might actually cause TB to interfere with the actions of a current hand. I am very, very adamant about not placing any type of risk like that on my users.

Ash,

Ok, I can do something for this. I can add an option, either in the Auto Break tab or the Advanced tab, that lets you disable the table closing, while keeping the prevention of adding tables/and buying back in. Wouldn't you just keep playing forever though, defeating the purpose of Stop Hands/Time played?

Ok, I am going to add Sit out Next BB support. I've had a couple requests for this and it makes sense. So next to your auto break value you will be able to select either SONH or SONBB.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'm very interested in your answers to those questions. I would love to generate some good feature discussion!

Well, that's definitely possible but I guess I want a bit more flexibility. I want to know my session time is up but don't want to force myself off the tables if there's a big fish especially if I'm still playing pretty good. However, stopping further table opening will be a good idea as it makes me start wrapping up without forcing me. Make sense? Also, you mentioned to stop buying in.. but would that affect the auto top up functions? I would still want to auto top up on the tables I have decided to stay on.
