Why no tournament support? Izknow jack **** about computer programming, but it doesn't seem that far of a stretch to add in tournament auto break function.

It's really too bad you don't offer tournament support. That's probably a pretty big market your missing out on. I really do hope that one day you address this. I would be happy to purchase this software again if you get it sorted out.

I should add that if I hit the rage button it does properly lock me out and not let me register.

Can you explain to me the technical difference in why it can't recognize that I am in a session if I only play SNG's and not cash? What mechanism for tracking bankroll is different?

Surf,

As you can see from the Rage Quit button, TB is definitely optimized for tournament support. The difference is in the tracking. Tilt Breaker gets all of it's info from your Hand History data. Unfortunately only FTP provides a Hand History with the results of your tournament. So yes, I can support FTP rather easily, but the other poker sites will be a bit more challenging. I intend on adding this, I just have to prioritize at the moment; tournament support is top 5 on my to do list, bit it's not up yet.

Make sense?

I definately need this for tournaments also i was been working a treat so far for keeping me away from the cash tables but yesterday i bubbled a final table in a 5k guarentee and procceded to tilt my bankroll off in a heads up sitngo for the rest of my money.

Apart from the non-tournament support i would dfeinatly recommend this to people.

Hey Dude,

I'm happy to hear that you would recommend Tilt Breaker, and please do so!

So check this out, I think I have a work around for you to give you pseudo tournament support. I'm assuming you play mtt's right? You can just register for all the mtt's you want to play for the day, then use the Rage Quit button to put yourself in lockdown for however long you think it would take to win the tournaments. Tilt Breaker does not interfere with active tournaments, so you would be able to play all the tournaments you registered for no problem BUT you would not be able to register for anything else; like the HUSNG that cost you your roll.

Boom, mtt tournament support.

Also for everyone who has two or more computers and are afraid they will just go on their secondary computer since TB doesn't sync lockdown times yet; just use the Bankroll Manager on your secondary computer and create a rule to block all games and stakes on that computer.

Boom, bypass solved.

I'll put those in the OP as soon as I get this new demo video out.

Hi,

I have a question. I bought TB and it has been working fine up until today. I was stopped out of a session and after the alotted time I started a new session, however, the session stats now is not tracking the time. I have my auto-break rules set to break after 2.5 hours of play, but all I see is 0m in the stats box. Is there a particular reason for this since it was working fine the last few days since I deposited and have been using the program. Any help would be apprecaited. Thanks

Wang,

That is the one outstanding bug we have at the moment. You are only the 3rd person who has encountered this out of all the users. Can you send me your log file so we can try to get this bug squared away?

To find your log, you must first unhide hidden folders. To show hidden folders, please go to your control panel and search "show hidden folders". After that go to My Computer > C Drive > Program Data (not files) > Tilt Breaker, and send me the log file

If you have XP the path is: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\TiltBreaker

Thanks,

Hey Rob,

We primarily tested TB on Holdem and Omaha initially, so the current version of TB was built to support those game types. With that said, we have already been working on adding in the additional variables for all game types, which should be in the next update.

As of right now the structuring of the Triple Draw HH might be throwing TB off. I'd have to take a look at it. If you wouldn't mind sending some HH's to support@tiltbreaker.com that would be helpful!

If you or anyone else ever needs their trial extended, feel free to send me an email or PM. I have no problem extending your trial until you are comfortable purchasing.

New build release mainly focused on our international brethren:
  • Bankroll Manager (BRM) supports all PokerStars languages
  • BRM supports all PokerStars currency formats
  • BRM supports Euro
  • BRM supports “Draw” games
  • Auto-break supports PokerStars Euro HH files
  • PokerStars multi-language Tournament filtering
  • Fix TB not detecting PokerStars when it was launched in certain languages
  • Added Euro symbol to GUI
  • Re-arrange a couple of configuration options
  • Default timer changed to 5 min
  • Separate rules for All and Mixed games
  • FTP leave table prompt automation improved
Development is being ramped up starting this month. We have already started work on the new Auto Break with SONBB and Alarm Only functions, and we are aiming to start iPoker support this month as well!

Using the latest version and have a 3 hr time limit. It used to work fine but after the update today at I was watching the timer. It showed the session time to be 2hr 59m and then a literally 2 mins later it showed that my session time was 10m long.

Any ideas?

Hey Ash,

Yeah, this is that one outstanding bug we have that we just can't seem to pin down. You are only the 4th person who has reported it, but this new build may have brought it to light for more people.

Anyway, we are definitely aware of it and diligently trying to resolve it since it is driving us utterly mad. Please email your log file to support@tiltbreaker.com. The more data we have in this the better our chances of figuring out the problem.

Can you be more specific if you intended and when , to add party poker at your supported sites? Voting is just a marketing tip and nothing more, in my opinion

Maaan, where's the faith Fotis?

The User Voice forum is not a Marketing ploy to me what-so-ever, I will add what is requested as long as it's doable and has enough demand. I plan on having Party Poker, iPoker, and a whole bunch of other things from our User Voice forum (and some that are not listed) completed before May 1st.

Wow my log file is nearly 2GB big. Maybe there needs to be some sort of trimming of this file. No idea how to send it or if I want to look for the specific entry. I think I'll delete the log and then send it you next time it happens. Good idea?

Ash,

Yea, there is no need to keep it. I believe the size of your log is somewhat due to you being around since the early beta tester days. Since then we've trimmed out a lot of the log file data. We are definitely going to release a log rotation feature in the near future that will make sure your log file does not exceed a certain file size.

Please do send your log in if (when) it happens again, b/c we really need as much data as we can get on that time error bug.

thanks,

Hi there

Just downloaded and tried to start using this ..

All im interested in right now is the Stop Loss amount ... as a trial figure i put in a Stop Loss figure of 20bb from start of session .

Lockdown time was 5 minutes.

Amount of time needed to pass between 2 hands was 15 minutes ..

But when i played the RUSH tables and reached that 20bb figure .. i was still allowed to play hands even though some pop up came showing a timer going down from 5 minutes , this timer went down to zero and then re-started and timed down again from 5 minutes.

Im not allowed to apply any changes ive made .. just either ok or cancel .

Ive obviously configured this wrong somewhere

Hey Jos,

Well everything seemed to go fine except after the Delay Timer (the first timer) went to zero you should have been removed from all your open cash tables. That would imply that you have everything configured correctly, but that TB glitched on the table closing automation; which is one of the things this new build we just released was suppose to improve on FTP!

I just tested on Rush though and everything worked for me, so I'm not sure what is going on for you. Can you send me your log file to me through support@tiltbreaker.com so I can see what's going on?

Hey Nat,

Long time no talk, hope all is well.

We should start iPoker support this month after we release the new Auto-Break configuration. It's hard for me to give you an estimate for completion until we do some discovery work. Since iPoker has so many skins there are really two paths we can take:
  1. Support 3-5 of the most popular skins with full functionality just like Stars, FTP, AB, UB
  2. or try to support the core variables for every skin, but you would not have SONH/SONBB checking for your lockdowns as that would require customization on a skin by skin basis
There may only be one practical option though, we will have to see.....and speak of the devil I literally just received the internal build for the new Auto Break. It's still missing some things, but hopefully it isn't too far off from release!

Please add Cake as well. I was on tilt recently and played with my entire roll. Lost 3/4 of it.
Or would it work, if I add my Cake folder to AP or UB in the TB options? I don't play any of those sites.

Atisz,

Please request Cake support in our User Voice forum. I add features by demand and what I think adds the most value to the overall product.

Unfortunately you cannot simply just add the Cake HH folder location to the AP/UB spots. Each site we support requires custom integration to provide you with a seamless low risk experience.

Here are screenshots of the new Auto Break configuration and the new Alarm Only function. ***These have not been released yet***

As you can see, the new configuration allows you to create multiple rules for the same Auto Break values so you are not confined by the previous rigid structure of one rule for each stop loss. For example you can set up your Stop Loss to look like this:
  • Stop Loss $100 Alarm Only
  • Stop Loss $$500 from Session Start
  • Stop Loss $250 from Session Peak
This new setup will make adding new Auto Break Values easier and also allow for more complex Auto Break rules like using "if" statements.

Let me know if you see anything that is missing or could be improved upon, although I realize that's hard to do from looking at a single screenshot. For example there should be a "Take a Break" button on the Alarm Only interface, so you can quickly go into a lockdown.
