Well, the idea is that it can be used for stopping certain players from showing up as fish, but you can use it for pretty much anything as another manual assigned playertype in your filters, you could make it a different type of regular, or you could even make it another type of buddy if you want. You could use it to make sure a table doesnt get autowaitlisted, for example with a filter "# of Whales 1-10 AND # of Blocked 0-0"

What exactly is your filter? And is it a table filter or player filter? The best thing to do would be to make a table filter exactly like the one I described above. Then in TableScan, you can also activate that table filter in the main program, and while scanning you should find that any tables that meet your filters are shown in the tables list of TST and are getting waitlisted.
If any of your waitlisted tables don't meet the filter, they will still be shown, but they will have a little red triangle at the bottom right of the tablename, to indicate that it does not meet the filter but is still being shown because of the option in Configure > List filters > "Never filter my open/waitlisted tables"
