This is "StarsBuddyList" and it allows me to know very quick when I'm in a tricky spot if my opponent is a mass multi-tabling dude or a 1 tabling fish who never rebuys.

please add this feature to you awesome programm!

I can upload the functions of this .ahk script so you have less work to do.
Ok, do you mean it should open the "Find Player" Dialog on Full Tilt Poker and enter the players name and hit "Search"? I like that idea a lot, i will try it out, give me another week or two.

No, I have been working on it all day, I am about 80% done, it is basically like writing a completely new software(OCR), but i'm hoping to release an update tonight, if not tonight then tomorrow afternoon

Well this is definitely your best shot to take some marketshare from spade eye.

Even Poker Shortcuts is somewhat being re-written because of the recent FTP updates.

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

Just so you guys understand what happend at fulltilt: The completly rewrote there user interface controls that they did not use in the beta untill now. Instead of using native Windows controls which are somewhat easily spied upon, they now use QT that is a cross-platform framework but has its own way of putting controls (buttons etc) on the screen. This requires OCR instead of windows api calls which is something completely different and means basically a new engine from scratch.

Go blame full tilt

Zandry, I hope you can get your software working again. I've come to rely on it so much that I may not play online again until you can adjust your code to work with FTP's new engine.

I have a feeling it will take him a bit to get it all fixed. Sounds like it is pretty much gonna be a complete rewrite since FTP changed so much.

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

WOW - I cannot belive how fast it is!!!

I made some speed tests on ipoker to compare Tablescan Turbo to HM TableScanner.

50 Tables -> HM 40 sec. / Turbo 23 sec.
55 Tables -> HM 39 sec. / Turbo 28 sec.

here are some requests:

- please let us choose round numbers for all stats, except for the AF, where x.x would be a good format.

- please remove "My Open Tables" from the Scan Tables Box and make a separate button for it, so that i can scan the tables where i am sitting at with one-click

- please let me change the position of the columns

- please let me set a color profile for "Chips"

- please let me set separate color profiles for Tables and Players

thanks a lot for this awesome program...

edit: just wanted to add that Turbo scanned 59 tables in 16sec, when i had no tables open (HM still 40 sec).

The HM-Scanner is still beta,
and it's not tweaked for performance yet.

Oh, and it works for the latest FullTilt again.

Thanks for the kind words and the suggestions. I probably won't be doing the column positioning very soon as it will be a big job, but it is definitely on my list of things to do. Otherwise, I will try to get the rest of those added in the next week or two

My highest priority is and will always be to make the scans the fastest speed that the poker site will technically allow. I'm going to add server side scanning hopefully by the end of the month and I promise that I will blow the competition out of the water on that front as well.

Ok, cool, so I guess this means it's alright for me to go promote my software in your threads? ty

Let's be real about this, your software has been out for what, 2-3 years, and what's the #1 biggest request? To make it faster. Did you ever even respond to those requests? No. We both know if I didn't release my software you probably wouldn't even be attempting to make yours faster. Instead of improving the software that all your customers already paid you for, you just move on to the next repackaging

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

v0.39 Beta Released
• Rewrote Full Tilt Poker scanning engine to work with the latest Full Tilt update, functionality has been fully restored
• Removed "Advanced Settings" Menu, replaced it with "Advanced Settings" Window. This makes it much easier to see/change all the available settings.

• Fixed a bug where users couldn't add a database if they didn't have a database named "postgres"
• Fixed a bug that could cause TableScan to crash when searching for "My Open Tables"
• Fixed a bug that could cause TableScan to crash at the end of a scan when updating the Known Player ToolTip

Note: This is an "in between" update which I am putting out today to resolve the issues caused by the latest Full Tilt update. You will see that I have chosen to "gray out" some new features which I have almost finished, all these features will be enabled in the next update, and I will get to the various requests that have been made this week that I did not get around to putting in this version.

Visit http://www.tablescanturbo.com/ to download the update.

Thanks to everyone who's helped with suggestions, and everyone who's gone around promoting it on other forums, I really appreciate it, please keep the suggestions and requests coming!

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

This program is great! You can probably start charging $50 for it right now.

Only one recommendation, add a "join table" button or option to make clicking a table join it instead of opening.

Thanks
There is already an option to make double clicking a table join the waitlist if the table is full, or it will open the table if the table is not full, it is in the "Configure > Advanced Settings > Shortcuts" tab

Perfect.

Can you add stacksize/chips to the fish definitions? I hate finding a 4 fish table only to find out they all have 25bb.

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

Can anyone tell me what I should be doing with the "players list". It is the bottom of the 3 main lists. I am hiding it right now because I don't know what it is for. Find all the tables a fish is on?

Also, am I missing something by not using the player filter and table filter? I have my scan filters set for the number of players so I think these are redundant?

Thanks I still intend to make some improvements, and I would like to figure out how to not have the lobby steal focus from tables during scan

Yes, I will do this in the next version. In the meantime you can enable the Shortstacks column in the "Configure > Advanced Settings > Columns" tab, so you can see how many shortstacks are at the table in the list. You can also add table filters and filter the tables with too many shortstacks out of the list

The players list is a better way of finding tables in my opinion, you find the biggest fish with the biggest stacks and go right to their table, instead of having to scroll through the tables one by one and see who's at them, or joining a table based off its Average VPIP, which is not that reliable if you don't have a huge database.

The player filters only work for the "Players list", and it lets you filter out all the players you aren't interested in, the table filters does the same for the table list. So, if you aren't interested in joining a table with 5 shortstacks, you can add a table filter and choose maximum # of shortstacks: 5, and any table with >=5 shortstacks will be filtered out of the list. Also, changing the table/player filters dropdown(which is only visible once you've added a table/player filter) will update the lists instantly, if you want to change the scan filters you have to do another scan before you can see any changes.

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

5 min of settings, works fine with FTP amazing ...

Unfortunately I discovered your software after last FT update. Just 2 points:

- join list button, just usefull for mass multitabler.
- when you open a table, the software searches the table in the lobby, table by table (!!!). Spadeeye updated does the same thing now, I guess it wasn't like that before FT update.

Just details, TST is already great.

Oh yeah don't be kidding.
Compare the 3 years old Telescope with a next generation product.

Do you compare PT2 with HoldemManager, too when you argue?

I worked the **** out of me the last 3 years.
There have been constant developement on my products,
and there is nothing you can blame me on, for the few bucks you payed.

The HoldemManager scanner is a completely new product.
Build up from scratch!
If I remember correct, Zandry worked one year to come up with this.
And it's the same with the HoldemManager scanner, too.

From the speed, quality and feature that the HM-scanner offers you can clearly see that it's not a repacking, and I will not take such a claim,
as I put thousands hours of work into this, too.

Telescope was the first product of this kind for PokerStars,
and it did the job!
There's an evolution in software developement, like any other territory of life.
Unfortunately every product comes to it's borders, set by design.
Do you blame PokerTracker for building PokerTracker 3 instead of improving PokerTracker 2?
You blame Nokia for not upgrading its older mobile phones with new displays?
Answer yourself...
