Ok, firstly, have you tried the option "Configure > Advanced > Performance > Give TableScan threads Highest Priority". If not, this might make your scan speeds faster/more consistent.
Also, I added the option this version "Configure > Advanced > PokerStars > Don't give Lobby focus (When I have tables open)". If the PokerStars lobby does not have focus, and TableScan selects a table, the PokerStars lobby does not load the player list as quickly, for whatever reason. So, if you have this option enabled, and you have at least one table open, the scan will go slightly slower.
Now, I will say I did also tweak the PokerStars selection speeds to be slightly "slower", but it actually has the net effect of making the scans faster on my computer, because it gets almost every table on the first try, as opposed to v0.35 which I noticed was failing to read the players list on the first try more than 80%, and I have a very fast internet connection, >20mbit down.
