I'm unable to connect to my remote linux box where I run postgresql. HEM has no problems. I've tried by hostname and local IP. I know my port and user/pass are correct.

Yes its still the same. Just minimize Party lobby and run a scan. When Party lobby is maximized its displayed in the right place.

one other thing that would be nice...is to have an option to show the players that are on the waiting list when you select a table. Maybe have them highlighted in red or some other color so you realize they are not at the table.

Small stakes version sounds like a great idea. I don't have much money to spend on poker programs since I play low stakes, but I will probably buy this program. Great job.

Maybe I could add it as an option in the distant future, but it would be really clunky on some sites and it would slow down the scan. I'll think about it, but probably not something I can do anytime soon.

2nl and 5nl aren't in the "add filter" dialog in the current version, they will be in the next (0.36). I am trying to finish adding iPoker before I release it so it may be a few more days.

In the meantime, if you want to scan 2nl or 5nl, here is a very simple workaround:
Quote:
1) In TableScan Turbo, click "Manage Filters" then click "Add Filter" and create a filter with all the settings you want(6max, NL, etc), but choose a different stake, lets say .05/.10

2) Close TableScan Turbo

3) Open C:\Program Files\TableScan Turbo\config\filters.config

4) Find the filter you created, and scroll to where it says stake="0.05/0.10" and manually change it to stake="0.01/0.02" or stake="0.02/0.05". You may also want to change the name="" part of the file.

5) Save filters.config and restart TableScan Turbo. You can now select the filter you made and scan 2nl or 5nl.

This looks great, am going to download later at home, this was what I've been missing after switching from PT3 to HEM. One question, can you mark players (like a buddy list) and then have the tables highlighted when those players are around (like in PT3).

Yes, there is a buddy list and a block list too (for players you don't want to play with). You right click on a player's name and click "Add Buddy" or "Block Player" and it puts an icon next to their name in the player lists.

Really like it but can it read stack sizes? I want to avoid tables with short stackers and look for tables where fish have 70BB+ stacks. Also, could it auto open tables based on criteria? I just want to tell it to keep 6 tables open, but only open tables based on certain criteria. If theres no tables with open seats that meet the criteria, auto add me to the waiting list. When my turn on the waiting list comes up, if the fish are gone click "no", or if I already have 6 tables up click "no" ..

I use FTTO to do that now but it can't read my HEM stats, it just uses the lobby plyrs/flop % which isnt great.

Menu Configure->Advanced->Columns you find "define shortstack" maybe thats what you are searching?

To see the number of shortstacks at a table, you can add the "Shortstacks" column to the table list by either
a) Right clicking on a column in the "Tables" list
b) Navigating to Configure > Advanced > Columns > Tables List and checking the "# of Shortstacks" column

To define what you consider a shortstack, as mentioned above(thx mightycow) you navigate to Configure > Advanced > Columns > Define Shortstack and select the stack size you consider a "shortstack".

Also, the Configure > Player Filter dialog will have an option in the next version: "Filter by Big Blinds"

As far as automatic table opening goes, technically, I could do it pretty easily, but I think that would be considered a "datamining" tool, which is "prohibited" on Full Tilt and PokerStars. In the interest of complying with FTP's and PokerStars' TOS I am not going to be adding any automatic table opening to this software.

You might want to consider adding a PokerStars SNG selection tool to this. Because Stars lobbies need to be OCRed, no one has been able to create a sharklist(list of good players to avoid) feature for Stars like FullTiltShortcuts has. If you could create the ability to create a sharklist, then scan tournament lobbies, and a rule like "if fewer than X players from sharklist already registered, register for tournament", I think a lot of SNG players would buy this.

I don't play SNGs, but I would assume that the replacement for FTSC by nanochip, Poker ShortCuts (PSC), has it if FTSC had it.

Whoa, this is something else.

Will you be adding more ways to filter the fish list and Players section. Specifically, I want to be able to filter out players with fewer than x hands. Perhaps just adding "Hands" to the statistics definition drop down in the fish definition would give me what I need, because then I could sort the Players section by fish. Of course, I also need to exclude the shortstackers, and I wouldn't be able to sort twice.

Cliff notes: The problem I have now is the Players section is full of players with statistically irrelevant hand counts and shortstackers. I want a simple way to show me the fish (with relevant hand counts) with medium to deep stacks.

Looks like a cool program but I can't get it to work right on Stars. I checked to make sure I have the newest version and I do. It isn't showing any known players from my db or any other stats, when in actual fact, I have a pretty large sample in my DB. I'm using PT3 and it looks like I have everything set up right unless I'm missing something.

I downloaded this and I'm trying to use it but when it tries to scan I get an error saying PokerStars Scan aborted: PokerStars Table list is not loaded. I'm using Vista on a 64 bit machine. Any ideas?

Configure > Player Filters > Filter by Hands.
Also I am adding a Filter by Big Blinds setting to this dialog in the next version.

If you have more than one DB, make sure you selected the right one in the "Add New Database" dialog, and make sure you have an active database in the Database > Set Active Database menu. Also, if you are scanning Full Tilt with a database that was datamining PokerStars, you will not get any stats(but that is probably not the issue). If you get this working please let me know or send me an email to support@tablescanturbo.com if not.

This error means it couldn't find/see the selected/highlighted item in the PokerStars table list. If you are starting the scan with the PokerStars lobby minimized, that can cause that error(I will try to fix/tweak that in the next version). Or, if you are somehow using a different lobby theme than the Classic Theme or Black Theme, that could also be the problem. If you get it working, please let me know, if you can't get it working could you try sending me a screenshot of your pokerstars lobby(with a table selected) to support@tablescanturbo.com
