Then choose the game type you want to scan. If you click the "(?)" I wrote a little instruction on how it works, I'm sorry, I need to add some tutorials to my website. Basically, the important thing to understand, is that if a player meets your "Clownfish" definitions, they will ALWAYS be considered a clownfish by tablescan, regardless of whether they also meet your blowfish or flounder definitions, it is trying to assign a fish definition in the order that the fish are displayed in the "Fish Definitions"

Yes, there are so many ipoker clients to add and I don't even know half of them, but it is easy for me to add once they are requested

Ok, there are a few things I have seen which can cause people trouble:

1) If you go to Databases > Manage Databases, select the database you added and hit "Edit", is there a "Type" selected? The type selected should be "Holdem Manager", TableScan should set this automatically but I have seen one case where somehow a user did not have the type selected

2) Is it possible you have more than one HoldemManager database, and you chose the wrong "Name" from the dropdown list when adding a database?

If it was failing to connect to the database, you would be getting a lot of errors at the bottom right, "Could not connect to database", and every player would have an exclamation icon next to their name. So, if you are not getting a bunch of errors then it is probably one of the above to issues. Think I saw this discussed ITT and that it's on your to-do list, but I'd like to confirm (and maybe get an idea of timing): will we be able to set up player scoring based on various attributes (e.g., vpip, pfr, etc.)? It's great to know how many fish are at the table, but I'd like to know how many TAGs are there as well. And in general, a scoring system, while it takes some work on the user to set up, can provide a more fine-grained prioritization of tables. Thanks.

First I would like to say this is working like a charm for me! All problems I had pre-non OCR are gone.

One simple request I wish you can add. SpadeEye has an option to include/exclude speed tables. Can you add this as well? Thx.

It should be already there in the advance table settings filter.

so i just downloaded and set up TST, and am testing it with Stars only. when a scan begins, everything freezes on my screen, then unfreezes, the freezes again when the scan is complete.

UAC is off
i allow TST all activity in my firewall
ran as admin

my computer is new and strong and runs fast with everything else...any potential reasons for this problem?

Click "Manage Filters", then click "Add New Filter", then at the bottom there is a checkbox called "Advanced Filters", check it and you will see the option to "Exclude Speed Tables"

Yes, it should be working after the FTP update on the classic lobby, I am releasing v0.40c right now which also works on the new standard lobby. There is still a bug where if you have a tournament lobby/table open, it will not scan, I dont know if that was the problem you had but keep that in mind.

Yes, I have heard of this problem on one other computer, it is caused because TableScan is switching Cleartype fonts off and then back on with each scan, unfortunately at the moment the only way to fix this if you have this problem is to turn Cleartype fonts off manually and leave them off when using TableScan

This version simply adds support for the new FTP "Standard" Lobby, it is not a required update, I will try to get the next real update out by Monday

"Effects" tab in the Windows Color and Appearence tab? yeah i unclicked the cleartype font and still had this problem. Went back in and checked, its unchecked and tried again. Same 'freeze'.

Yes, I am almost positive that this is related to the switching on and off of font smoothing. Make sure you have TableScan closed when you turn off cleartype, and also, make sure to disable font smoothing alltogether, switching to standard smoothing would not fix it. If you're still experiencing the freeze after that then please send me a message on AIM or MSN and I will check it out

A question - will the problems with running FTP scan without OCR be solved on Monday release? I can use it only with OCR on my computer, which is not that great.

When I try to use TST on FTP, TST begins a scan by going through the list of tables on the FTP lobby, but stops at the bottom of the list and does not bring anything up in the tables list, nor do any errors display.

Zandry, your program is working great for me (Ipoker, ftp, Stars)! I'm impressed with the quality of the software especially considering that it is still in Beta.

Two feature requests:
¤ The option to group select tables or players and click one time to have the software queue me up on that selection of tables.
¤ I need a noisier notify sound when scan is finished

I have FTP lobby and TST on my 2nd monitor

When the "Show my Tables" scan is complete, FTP lobby is moved to the other monitor (primary) on the top left, under my open tables.

When finishing a normal scan, this doesn't happen at all.

Any idea why the lobby won't stay on the secondary monitor?

HELL NO! Zandry, I would hate this. If you do decide to make it noisier, please make it an option. I like it as is.

so got the first issue fixed (the cleartype problem) but not i cant get TST to work with standard view. it works fine with classic fwiw.

I am still trying to understand/figure out why some people can't get it running, if you want to help message me on AIM or MSN and show me on teamviewer and I may be able to help get it working

Hehe, thanks for pointing this out, it is a remnant from the OCR scanning, I will fix in the next version but you can fix it now easily, go to Configure > Advanced > Poker Sites > Full Tilt > and check "Use OCR", then uncheck "Move lobby off screen", then uncheck "Use OCR"

The first request is coming soon, for the sound I will just add an option to replace it with your own custom sound file
