I hate when I try to pause the session for just a minute and then it says that "The auto big blind is working at some tables" but it didn't say which tables are that. I think it should highlight them.

This is definitely a good idea and shouldn't be too hard to implement. It is currently confusing which tables the function is still working on, particularly if you are stacking.

just bought the software but am unable to connect to servers, any ideas?

What version are you running? We've been phasing out the older versions over the last few days. Currently only versions 1.0.139.0 and higher will work. I recommend updating to version 1.0.149.0 as we will be removing all the other versions over the next few days.

Oh, sorry I thought you were referring to a different error message, my bad.

The most likely causes of that are

1) Your system clock is set incorrectly
2) Your behind a firewall and blocking TableNinja

Our servers not down so things should be working. If you continue to have trouble go ahead and email me your log file (from your TableNinja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com and I'll take a look.

how would i fix the problem if it was #1?, because i know its not #2

By system time I just mean the clock on the bottom right of your desktop in windows. Just double check that it has the correct date and time set.

I have run into a problem since upgrading to Windows 7. I found that the 'pot betting' functions weren't working while I was using standard themes, so I switched to an old-school Windows theme and they started working. It works up to four tables as far as I can tell when there's no overlapping but once I go to nine tables and it overlaps some, they don't want to work. The 'fold' and 'call' binds work and so does the 'default betting for each street' (which I'd love to turn off since it resets my bet sizes sometimes) but not my binds for pot betting. It's driving me nuts since I'll think it's working then open up a bunch of tables and be stuck entering bet sizes in manually.

Any help would be appreciated!

For whatever reason every time I install windows 7, it installs but then my machine will not boot so I have been unable to do my own testing on windows 7.

However, from talking to users who have gotten things working there are a few issues. First, you need to disable user account control. Second I believe from talking to a few users, that they actually were using the default windows 7 theme with "Aero" selected as the Vista theme in TableNinja.

Finally, what Table Layout do you have selected, on the setuo tab. It sounds a bit as if you might have no-overlap selected, but actually be using overlapping tables.

Hopefully one of our windows 7 users will stumble across this post of be able to give a more detailed suggestion. I may spend some time trying to get windows 7 on my laptop since putting it on my desktop seems impossible.

We've now disabled all the old versions so if you are getting a "Fatal Error" on start-up this just means that you need to go to our website and download the latest version here: http://tableninja.com/downloads.php.

So far only two users have ran into any problems updating that I am aware of so hopefully the update process should be very smooth, but if you encounter any problems what so ever email me at support@alxsoftware.com and I will help you out.

ghey tourney lobby pops up everytime i register a new sng, also no hotkey for bringing most urgent table to front?
also no hotkey for bring up the main lobby?

-The tourney lobby probably pops up because you are using "Register to identical if full" If you use this pokerstars feature with or without TableNinja this will happen. Just uncheck the "Register to identical if full" option under the "Automatically handle Tournament Registration popup" on the opening/closing tab in TableNinja and it will fix the problem.

-The "Cycle to First In Line Table" Hotkey on the Table Contril tab will bring the most urgent table to the front.

-There is no hotkey to bring up the main lobby but any time you automatically but there are a bunch of automatic settings that will bring up the lobby at convenient times. Take a look at the "Lobby" section of the opening/closing tab.

-You can turn off the default bets by setting the %s to 0, however for most of our users this is one of their favorite features (although it can take some getting used too) so I would give it a chance before you disabled it

another feature I will like to see which must of been mentioned is

1. an auto join sit n go tables by stakes and by how many tables you are currently playing..

2. I think I read you are cosidering adding a feature that will move tables around from the main stack if so... add a feature that will allow also in sit n go to have stacks by blind level or by number of players left...


I read that some feature will be out soon.. I was wandering what is the time frame...

We have a bunch of new sit-n-go features include a SnG opener (auto joins sit-n-goes by stakes/game type etc) that will hopefully be coming in a few weeks.

I downloaded the newest beta and upon opening the program I get the circular loading icon on my mouse and Table Ninja is totally frozen. Nothing I do changes this.

Well I guess it takes about 3-5 minutes for it to load for me, so I'll assume for now that it works fine after that, though the wait time is really annoying. New computer + vista too.

Opening TableNinja should not take this long, the program should open in less than 10 seconds. Can you retry a few times and verify that this is happening repeatedly?

Also what user account control settings are you using, do you have user account control disabled? Sometimes odd delays can happen in vista when applications are run as administrator and the user account control request is made.

You are the first person to report this problem so I'm not sure what the cause could be offhand, but I know that for most users the program loads in a matter of seconds so something odd is definitely happening.

If the problem occurs repeatedly, email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your log file from your TableNinja install directory and I will be happy to help you get things working smoothly.
