Ok this will require us to make a slight change to the code but should be quite easy for us to fix.

I have Table Ninja set to overlapping, but I tend to switch layouts during the session and sometimes have the tables in a single stack. Do you think this will cause problems? Great program!

If you leave it set on overlapping it shouldn't cause any problems no matter what your layout is, it just might not run as fast as is possible in some layouts. The only setting than can actually cause problems is if you have the program set to "NoOverlap" and are actually using overlapping tables, cascading or stacking. Other than that, the setting just optimizes performance and will never actually cause any problems.

We've released a new update to TableNinja. This update is a little unusual it that it contains no new features, instead we made significant changes to our underlying code. I know this is not as exciting as our usual updates (and believe me we would rather be adding hot new features than changing the underlying code) but this was something that needed to be done for us to move the program forwards.

Believe it or not this was one of the largest updates we've done in terms of how much work we put in and even though there are no new features now, we expect the work we've put in with this version to pay big dividends in the future.

The error means that an error occurred during the install or uninstall process. Microsoft makes a program that you can download that will clean up improper install/uninstalls. You can download it for free here, the download link is towards the bottom of the page:

Run this, use it to clean up the TableNinja installation and then try running the 1.0.149.0 TableNinja installer as usual and hopefully things should work.

I know one of these has been suggested, but not sure about the other. I'd really like to see some updates for the following:

- Support for the Pokerstars Slick theme.

- Hotkey for registering to tournaments to make one button tournament/SNG registration possible.

I normally use Hyper-Simple but have recently found Slick and think it's perfect for use with a HUD. I also found the registration key to be an excellent option in Stars Hotkeys AHK script. Other than that, I love this program and can't thank you guys enough for this program!

Thanks for the feedback. We definitely recognize the superiority of the slick theme for HUD use and plan to support it eventually. Adding hotkeys for the lobby that work on the waitlist and register buttons is also a great idea and something we very much want to do in the near future.

Basically both of these are on the way but it may take us a some time. Certianly the lobby hotkeys will come first.

Will it ever be possible for a user (like myself) to be able to screen cap my own images (I realize it can take a full day to this for betpot, etc), from my own custom theme, and make TN compatible with my custom buttons and other images? Or will it only ever support included themes from Pokerstars^TM?

This is an interesting question, honestly I'm not sure how easy it would be to allow you to do this. What we do is quite different from bet-the-pot (we are not just comparing images we actually do something like OCR), however in theory at least I think it ought to be quite possible for us to allow you to simple enter a list of parameters that TableNinja could then use.

I'll talk this over a bit with my partner (he's done the majority of the screen scraping code) and I'll pm you.

As part of moving towards ending the beta period we're going to start disabling the older beta versions of the program. Updating the program is very fast and easy and if you've already purchased the program it will remain fully unlocked after the update. Note that you do not need to uninstall the older version to update, just download and run the installer for the latest version of the program and it will install right on top of your existing version.

We know there are a handful of people still using some of the older versions but we need everyone to get caught before we can end the beta. If you need help upgrading feel free to email me and I will do everything I can to help you get the new version configured properly. If you purchased and for whatever reason are unable to update to the newest version and get it working on your machine I will be more than happy to completely refund your money.


We'll be disabling old versions over the course of the next few days, starting with all the versions prior to 1.0.87.0 and going from there.

Not sure if this belongs here but...

I'm a fan of the software and am wondering if anyone uses an air mouse or laser pointer(presenter) with mouse feature along with table ninja. If so, what do you use? I'm basically looking for point and click functionality, an ability to scroll bet sizes as scroll wheel does with regular mouse, and at least one other button besides left/right click that table ninja will recognize.

Feel free to pm me as I don't want to flood the thread with tech stuff irrelevant for most.

+1 on lobby waitlist buttons. I'd personally throw some extra $ if you make these happen very soon

Hey, love the program, I am having one problem though. When i use resized tables, the "all in" auto bet isn't working. It sends the bet number to like 999999999 but it doesn't click the bet button, this makes it really hard to play many sng's together as I like, suggestions?

Is there any development plan? Unfortunately i'm using the PokerStars Black Theme and it seems like you're not working on a support for other themes beside hypersimple and standard!

We're going to plan out our next update in detail tonight and I think this will end up very high on our priority list.

There is a known bug right now where with the hyper simple theme and windows sized at roughly 746x533 pixels the problem your describing will occur. The range of sizes where this happens is quite small. Right around that size you will notice that the font switches from bold to non-bold. If you can shrink your tables just enough to switch to the non-bold font this will fix things. You can also make them a bit bigger and the problem should go away.

Unfortunately aside from that you will have to wait for us to update the program with a fix for this issue.

Right now the next theme we are going to add is the Slick theme. We have no plans currently to support the black theme. There are a few reasons for this.

One is that when we add new features we create something that 100% of our users can use and enjoy, whereas when we add a new theme, only the much smaller group of people who use that particular theme gain, and the rest of our users get nothing from it. The second is that support new themes is very time intensive.

I totally appreciate how important playing with a theme that you are comfortable is to your game and I recognize that themes are a very important part of poker. But we have to make tough choices and try and prioritize features that help as many people as possible as much as possible.

If a lot of people start requesting black theme support (more people than are requesting slick theme support) than we will certainly reconsider.
