Just wondering, is anyone else having an issue where the Bet hotkey doesn't work sometimes?

I'm experiencing this particular issue with certain table sizes. Tarath was looking into it and was unable to reproduce it. There weren't any other people reporting this issue, but I experienced it in both XP and Vista. There's also an easy workaround so it's not too inconvenient.

I have problem with tableninja.When pokertracker and hud works betting using ninja doesn`t work fine. When i exit tracker everything is ok. Don`t you know what to do?

The most likely cause of this is that your HUD is too close to the pot box (The box above the dealer chip stack displaying the pot size). Try rearranging your HUD so that there is plenty of space around the pot box and see if that fixes things.

Hey Tara can you confirm the 'auto sit out at next blind' feature doesnt interfere with PT3 HH?

It *should* not interfere, I personally test everything with both PT3 and HEM, and no one has reported such a problem that I am aware of. The sit out next blind feautre is one of the rare cases where TN will read a HH file though so its possible problems could arise but its unlikely.

I have 'table under mouse' selected (and 'bring to foreground', i stack) and it doesn't recognize the table when my pointer is in the chat box. any way around this? i know with 'table in foreground' selected the pointer can be in the chat box without causing a problem, but I dont want to use table in foreground mode.

Hey,

This is actually intentional, the idea being that hotkeys are automatically disabled for you while your chatting. Currently there is no way to alter this setting, but it should be possible for us to add an option for that.

I use this feature with PT3 and have never noticed a problem.

Nice program. I d/l yesturday and love it. I was wondering how soon pokerstars sng opener will be added? Let say if I want to open 10 more sngs I just hit #8 on the keyboard or something like that...


Also, I have the "all in" hotkey setup so that tableninja hits the bet button for me but sometimes it just puts me at 999999 but it doesnt hit the bet button? Most of the time it works great, but maybe 1 of 20 or so it doesnt hit the bet button.

I got it once on a weekend when I had been playing for a very long time. I haven't had a captcha in months (9 months?) because I have not been playing any really long sessions.

You must be logging some serious hours if they are giving you captchas.

I mentioned a similar issue a few posts up. When this happens, does your hotkey for the bet button work, or do you have to manually click on the bet button? Do you have the Right "Click Buttons by Location" set to a hotkey?

Hey again Tarath, I don't know what I would do now without table ninja...it's just awesome. I had a suggestion for the table control page...a key to target the top left red circle to quickly bring up "Show Previous Hand" and then click it again to close it. I'm always doing this manually to see what they had and it would save time if it was just a click. I don't know if this would be of interest to other players?

when i hit my hotkey for "all in with auto press bet button" it just puts the bet slider at 999999 sometimes. I can hit it again and nothing happens so i have to click bet with the mouse manually. Everything goes right back to normal after that and then later on the same thing will happen.

As far as the "click button by locatin" i dont know. I am new to this program and i am at work so i cant look. I just know i have the "All In!!" hotkey set to "A" and i have "press bet button automatically" or whatever it is ticked.

Its not a big problem as it doesnt happen alot, but when I have 20-30 DONs going at once and it happens it throws me off a little.

One other that thing that would be insane if it could happen is if big hands like AA-JJ in order to fold instead of pressing say "F" hotkey you had to press "ctr F" or something like that. I was 24 tabling cash and getting crap like 83 or 94 or T3 and I was hitting fold fold fold fold fold and KK popped up and I was in the fold zone and hit fold!

Seems like you're experiencing the same issue that I am. I had to adjust my table size by a few pixels in order to stop it from happening. it seems like it's not detecting the presence of the Bet button at certain table sizes. (for my layout/windows settings, 742*533 pixels caused the issue, and I had to reduce the size to 736*530 before it would work all the time)

I doubt that they can implement hotkeys that work differently based on the cards you have. It probably violates the Stars TOS.

Hey, I have been using the program for quite a while now and I love it. I am having two issues off and on that barely take away from the perfect game experience.

I have Vista 32bit with UAC turned off, basic theme (no aero) and hypersimple stars theme. I stack all my tables.

1) I have tableninja to buy me into tables when I click take seat, and i have it set at a specific bb number. It usually works, but maybe 1 out of every 15-20 tables, it will buy me in for the stars default- 60bbs.

2) Sometimes when I click any hotkey for Fold, check, raise, the button doesnt get quite pushed on the table. The reason I say this is because looking at the table, I can see the button a slightly different color, basically like its being held down with a mouse click, but nothing is happening. I have to either click the hotkey again or click it with my mouse. I would say this happens once every 10 mins or so when I am 20+ tabling. Its a little irritating because very very few times, if I click the hotkey again, then it registers on the table that is stuck and the next table too.

Table Ninja is not working after PS update : I have this message : "ERROR Checking version: Could not connect to server."

I've had this happen before, i dont think it has anything to do with the PS Update. When it happened to me i just waited like 15 minutes and it worked fine. Are you using the latest 139 beta build?

It sounds like we now have multiple reports that the all-in hotkey on occasion is not clicking bet when it should so I will look into this again in more depth.

Unfortunately the program behave differently in any way based on your hole cards would certainly violate the Stars TOS so we cannot offer a feature that makes it harder to fold big hands, even though it would definitely be nice.

For issue #1, I have gotten a few other reports of this and honestly I'm just not sure what the cause is. However, a work-around that has worked for others is to check the "Remember my buy in amount" checkbox on the buy-in popup in PokerStars (you may need to close TN so that it doesn't close the buy-in popup automatically). Let me know if this helps. For us to actually figure out the cause and fix this, we really need to find a pattern among the 5% of times where it fails to work to try and isolate the issue. Bugs were things seem to just randomly fail a small % of the time are some of the hardest to fix.

Issue 2 is something we are working on, we believe it happens during very brief lag spikes. Using the "click by location" hotkeys rather than the regular hotkeys is a temporary work around for this problem.

The error message your describing actually occurs before TableNinja even detects PokerStars so it shouldn't have anything to do with the Stars update. Generally the cause of this is either

1) You have some program that is blocking TableNinja from connecting to our server. If you are running a firewall you need to add TableNinja to the allowed programs list. Sometimes certain firewalls require you to re-allow a program anytime a program on your machine is changed.

2) The system time on your machine is wrong.

Today after I played a bit, my preflop settings didn't work anymore. What can I do about this?

Everything is working properly except preflop default bets?

Are you using the %pot option, or the x BB + Y BB per limper option? I've never heard of just the preflop betting breaking, and I've never heard of anything completely breaking mid session so I am not at all sure what to say. The only thing I can think of off hand is that you moved your HUD and its now covering the pot box, the buttons, or the cards, or else that you are using an unsupported theme.
