Need some help getting functionality at 100%.

I'm playing stacked on Stars. I have a cycle tables forward and backward hotkey along with Cycle to first in line.

When I'm adding notes or labels to players , I don't want to have my focus stolen by other tables or any software for that matter.

If I add a note , it seems even though the feature to always go straight to info tab doesn't do it once I add a note.

Also seems like if I have a decision to make on one table , and then 2nd one needs action .. I have to press my "cycle to first in line table" again which is an annoyance. The 2nd table doesn't appear in front , just seems to steal the active table.

What options should I enable to be able to have all I want if possible ? Thanks.

Hi,

If you are using Pokerstars stack layout and None layout in TN2, then you MUST disable the following in TN2 > table control > Popup > Popping up tables "Popup table whenever action is required" and also disable " Automatically uncheck popup table whenever action is required in poker clients.

Then in Pokerstars you must enable Popup table when action is required in the settings tab > GamePlay > Multi-Tabling.

In TN2 when using NONE layout you must use the clients popping up of tables since we assume you are using their layout.

About the info tab, This works when you open a tournament and play a hand it will auto go to the info tab, if after we go to the info tab you click on notes or any of the other tabs then we will not go back to the info tab, you will nee do it manually in that case.

Thanks for the quick response , needed it. I assume the "don't steal focus from notes " option on Stars solves my other issue?

I don't suppose there's also a way from preventing Sensei when it regs games from forcing me at times to click to Cycle to next table in line because it stole focus as well ?

Yes that should solve your problem, Once PS is controlling the popping up of tables we will not steal focus, So if you enable that feature in PS it should solve that notes issue.

About SNG sensei in PS disable "New Tournaments steal focus"

Ya , that's done , it's the actual regging for games that steals focus .. not a new game loading.

That should not happen, Please reproduce issue, then go to TableNinja 2 > Help > Contact Support and click the "Send logs to TableNinja" button. Then send a copy of that ZIP file to support@tableninja.com to check it over for errors.
Also please send a screenshot of your desktop with a table and your HUD displayed. See instructions http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen...screenshot.htm Please send the screenshot even if you don't have a HUD or custom table theme.

Please also briefly describe what is happening in the email.

Guys for anyone that is using None layout in TN2, there is a problem with the display and table frames, The latest ticket on this is TN-212 the developers are working on it and hope to have it fixed asap.

Please make sure to disable I want beta updates in the setup tab in TN2 before uninstalling.

You need logs from the day it happened ? Happens constantly. Screenshot won't be a problem.

2 more questions. Since making the changes that fixed my issues , my cycle forwards or backwards on tables isn't working at 100% if tables need action. My ability to scroll through tables is affected by it , limits me to a few tables or just 1 but unaffected when no tables require action.

Also .. If I use TN2 to close tables automatically after 5 seconds .. should I enable the "close tables automatically without warning" or disable it.

I've got the Stars popup now showing me my finish position .. but don't remember ever changing my settings. What do I need to do to not see that Stars msg when I bust , and just have TN2 close my tables ?

As long as the log file has the issue in it then it doesn't matter which log you send to us.

This is because you are using PS layout and PS popping up of tables, if you were to use TN2 layout and TN2 popping up of tables then this would not happen, I will talk with the developers and see what can be done.

In PS > Settings > Multi-Tabling > Tournaments > disable Auto close tournaments without notification.

Is TN2 already compatible with all the features for ps7?

Yes TN2 works for all features on PS7, For the issue with hovering players/notes etc when it is your turn is fixed in the latest beta 2.4.47 but you need to go to the annoyances tab and enable " Don't click I'm back/Timebank on hovered table"

To fix my issue regarding cycling forwards or backwards on table I decided to switch to TN2 to manage my layout.

I want just 1 stack where all tables overlap. Set table layout to stack and saved the size I want. Just to confirm , all I needed to do was set the size for one table and save right ?

With 1 slot and under "layout details" I have it set for "Incrementally".

Is there anything I should disable on Stars now besides using their table layouts ? All tables will automatically load overlapping my 1 slot ?

Such as "popup table whenever user action is required" ? I can't keep the " Don't steal focus from chat and notes " enabled on Stars if I disable that option.

I am not sure what you mean here you want 1 stack where all tables overlap. If you want all tables in one stack then yes you simply go to the table control tab > layout > from the drop down select Stack, edit > edit again and then a display window will appear, you can move that table to any location on your screen where you would like the stack to be, you can also resize it to what ever size you wish, Once you have that done then that will be the size of all your tables for that layout, just click save and close.

If you choose Stack layout in the Change layout section then you don't use any settings in the Layout details, You only use Layout details if you are using one of the layouts mentioned in that section, Ie Custom, Multi-stack, Ninja Tile and Tile. So if you use TN2 popping up of tables and TN2 layout then you must Disable PS popping up of tables in the settings > gameplay > Multi-Tabling > Popup table whenever user action is required

Also you must not use PS layout when using TN2 layout.

I've read this, so basically with that option enabled your saying that TN2 disables timebank? Or the timebank is activated when the mouse is hovering a table but others go sit out eventually no? This is not "fixable" in other way? I was really used to hovering players to see notes...

Under custom in layouts it's just enabled by default and I don't see any option to disable them. Wondering if that's fine.

Will that affect the " Don't steal focus from chat and notes " option ? It's still checked but grayed out.

Hi,

With that option enabled the timebank and I'm back feature will work on all other tables apart from the table which the mouse is hovering, ie the table that is active.

If you are not using custom layout then those options will not affect your stack layout for example. They only take affect when using that specific layout.


In TN2 when you are in the chat or Note tab you need to disable Hotkeys in order to write a note or in the chat box, then when you are finished enable Hotkeys again.

We hope to add an option like PS have to not steal focus when in chat box or note box

K .. a bit disappointing but is there an option where I can cycle back to a table that I was writing a note on and no table requiring action would steal focus because I manually went back to that table ? That would help.

Think I found it , under advanced in Table control , 1st option below under "Manual" ?

If it was the last active table you can cycle to previous in line, but again you need to disable HKs because for example if you have "Fold" set to F in TN2 then if you are using that letting in the note or chat box then it will fold on that current table if action comes to you.

Using gamepad with buttons set directly in TN2 as hotkeys so that won't be an issue , thanks.

Just noticed Sensei was loading more 7$ 18 man's than the 6 I've set it to reg for instead of the 8 15$ 18 man's I also want it to load. 14 tabling and at point 10/14 tables were 7's instead of 8/6 in favor of 15$ games.

Am I not seeing a setting ? This seems to be the 1st time it happened since I started using TN2 a few days ago.
