I have been messing with this with only 1 or 2 tables but I am a big multitabler and I tried it with a full session today and it instantly started to lag like crazy. How many tables have you guys been table to use with this? From what I understand the image recognition is resource heavy, but how many tables can I expect to play using this?

The way we're doing things *should* be very lag free so this may be a bug, I have 20 tabled on vista with no lag whatsoever. I sent you a message so hopefully we can figure this out and get it fixed.

Thanks for letting me know,

Tarath

I have played a number of hours 24 tabling with TableNinja and haven't had it cause any lag.

Edit: On Windows XP 2.4ghz quad core 3GB RAM + 256MB Vid Card. Using HoldemManager tracker and HUD.

+1

BTW it works with Everlongs free theme

Also buying in automatically would be cool

The majority of the themes in Everlongs package use the Ordinary base (same as hyper-simple). Actually, now that I look, all but 1 of his Images Themes use the Ordinary base, and one (RainKhan I think) uses the Shiny base. His No Images themes use the Simple base, like any other No Images theme.

How do I input WheelDown into the AA check/fold hotkey?

Currently I am using Xbutton1 there and it folds on my turn and advance. but when I have an option to check it tries to fold and stars client pops up the Its free to check box. What am I doing wrong?

BTW I can't get the Bet, Call, check , Fold hotkeys to work at all.

Feature suggestion. Auto take seat and buyin for default amount

Thanks

What your describing sounds like maybe you don't have the theme set in the general tab to match the theme your using. The fact that AA Check/Fold is clicking fold rather than check when its free to check and the Bet/Call/Check/Fold hotkeys aren't working means it is not recognizing the buttons.

If setting the theme doesn't fix the problem, then email me at support@alxsoftware.com and we can figure out whats going on.

Currently you can not use the scroll wheel to fold, only to change the bet size.

Let me know how it goes.

Yes I had wrong Theme. Thanks. Do you know of any software that I can use to have scroll down produce a chosen command like F1. Then I enter F1 into the text field and it will work that way?

I don't know of any program off hand that does this, sorry. I will look into adding that option to TableNinja.

Under advance action hotkeys assign a key to "fold to any" use this key when you want to preselect fold on a table. I use 'f' for regular folding and 'g' for fold to any and it works great.

I have the right mouse button assigned to set the raise to 3bb + 1 for each limper, which seems to work fine except from the BB it was short 1/2bb(obv not a big deal). Would like it to auto set this amount without having to click the right button also. Other than that looks great.

You could make the source code available.

Hi

I am also a bit skeptical about connecting to a server as if it was a trojan or something. I scanned your original .exe setup files but those were all clean as expected only I ask myself if it ain't possible to do a kind of registration with Machine Codes like SpadEye has? I sent my machine to you, you give me a personalized keycode and done.

I do not know the algorithm or commands but I am not really in favour of having a poker application that helps me connect to a server on any time given (assume that I am not on my PC but im eg. downloading stuff)

Although I run ZoneAlarm, PG, Avira, SpyBot,Spywareblaster, Scrambler, SnoopFree, SpySweeper and tons of other anti-X applications, I will still use the AHK scripts instead of your program because of this

The 3bb+1 per limper intentionally only counts the SB as 1/2 a limper when your on the BB, because he's only contributed half as much to the pot voluntarily. (ie if you're in the big blind and the button and cutoff limp and everyone else folds pot is 3.5BB whereas if your in the BB and the button and SB limp and everyone else folds the pot is 3BB).

Allowing you to use one of the bet-sizes from the fixed bet tab as your default pre-flop bet is a great idea I will look into this.

Thanks for the suggestion,

Tarath

Once the beta is over we plan to make connecting to the server at start-up optional

We currently connect to the server on startup so as to verify that the beta is still running. This allows us to provide beta testers with the full set of TableNinja features while providing for a smooth transition into a "Trial Version"/"Full Version" model once the beta is over. Automatically checking for updates along side this also lets us to make sure that everyone is using the latest version of the program which makes adding features and tracking down bugs easier.

If you purchase the program our registration system does in fact use "machine codes". However, rather than you sending us the code by a web form or email, the transaction is completed from within TableNinja. When you purchase the full version you will be emailed a "purchase code" which you then enter into TableNinja's "Purchase/Updates" form. This then connects to our server one time to send your "machine code" and "purchase code". The server responds with an "unlock code" that will allow you to use the full version of table ninja from there on. Again, once we are not connecting in order to check the status of the beta, we hope to provide the option to only connect this one time when you purchase the full version.

We fully respect all privacy concerns and believe that it's hard to be too paranoid, which means that any program you run requires some amount of trust. In the end it certainly isn't wrong to be skeptical , but it may cause you to miss out on a great program.

maybe i missed it somewhere, but is it possible for ninja to move the mouse pointer over the most urgent table?

can i make the 'auto-post blinds' hot key apply to all tables?

Again not really a big deal but I think in that situation the SB shouldn't be counted as a limper at all. If the CO and BTN limp and SB folds I want to raise 5bb, if the BTN limps and the SB completed I still want to raise 5bb. Another feature I'd like to see would be an overlay that displays the % of pot that I'm betting.

Moving the mouse pointer will be in the next update.

Right now you cannot do that with auto-post but thats a good idea that should be relatively easy.

This is on our list of things to add, I don't think it will make it into the next update but probably within a few weeks.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, these are great.

I'd just like to add that you should make sure when adding new overlays and new features that you give us the ability to disable them if we wish.

Yeah this is a really good point, we will definitely make sure to do this in the future.

Also for anyone who's been having lag problems when they use TableNinja with cascaded and large/maxmized tables we have a test version of the next update that we've passed out to a bunch of volunteers from 2+2 that should completely fix the problem.

If you would like to join the list to test out new updates early just PM me with your email.

Thanks,

Tarath

It would be cool if you can add table opener for Stars like Fulltilttableopener, and automatically timer click.

Great! I'm glad to hear everything is working on your theme.

We will get the version that you're using out to the public soon, and at that point I'll try and give a list of what themes people have had success using with TableNinja (besides hyper-simple and classic which we already support).

Thanks,

Tarath

Since I said earlier I'd buy it twice:

The first person to PM me after 5pm EST today, Dec 25th will be bought a copy when I get back from my family gatherings.

Requirements:

500+ posts, the majority of which must be in strategy forums
Your main game must not be higher than .5/1 limit or .5/1 NL
PMs must be received AFTER 5pm EST, PMs received before 5pm will be ignored and disqualify you from winning

Merry Christmas to the lucky winner.
