I don't think that is a good idea, it will probably violate the stars ToS...

i like it.
why should it violate the stars ToS? its just suggests a bet amount which depends on position. would rly like that.

got another 2 (maybe little crazy ) suggestions (didnt read the hole thread, so excuse a double suggestions):
- would be huge to have a function to automatically register into specific sngs. for example its possible to store the exact name of a SNG and whenever a new one is available it registers automatically until a specific number is reached which the user can choose.
i think alot of SNG players would love this feature

- when i massive multitable tourneys or sometimes cashgames, sometimes obv difficult situations occur. in that situations i'd appreciate to have a better look at the table and the players stats and so on. the possibility to enlarge a choosen table for example through pressing "Alt+mouse click on table" until the hand is over or the user presses another hotkey.
not sure if enough players would like that feature, if you do please post it. as said; maybe little wierd but usefull feature (at least for me)

If it's just varying the bet by position, then that's fine, but what the quote says is "auto bet"... and if a program is autobetting for you, then that is definitely in violation of stars ToS.

Also both the ideas you mention have been requested lots already .

It seems to be running alright now in Vista 64-bit.

Feature suggestion: a way to lock all my tables in place. I accidentally resize and move my tables sometimes (I cascade), which is pretty annoying when you're playing a lot of tables.

These have been requested but don't worry about the double suggestion, even I have trouble keeping track of whats been requested and what hasn't and I read this thread every few hours

We definitely plan on adding both these features. We want to make a complete sit-n-go opener which probably will come a little bit later. A "give this table special attention" type hotkey is something we plan to do quite soon, barring unforseen problems. Your definitely not the only person who wants this

Thanks

This is something we could consider, I'll have to do some brainstorming on how hard it would be.

By default Cntrl-0 re-cascades your tables in pokerstars, if you use this combined with TableNinja's "cycle to first in line" hotkey it might be a good temporary solution.

Thanks,

Tarath

Just got the G11 keyboard that I ordered to use with TableNinja. Seems to work fine, though it would be nice to be able to assign two buttons to the same action as I suggested earlier. I might be able to write an AHK script to get around this limitation.

Another Bug:
If you assign two actions, Action 1 and Action 2 to the same key, Action 2 is highlighted in red showing an error. Then if you click on Action 1 to change the key, Action 2 is still highlighted in red even though there is no longer a conflict. A better behaviour would be to highlight both actions in red until the conflict is resolved.

Wat. TN already "auto bets", I just want position criteria. Or do you think I wanted TN to automatically open every time it was my action preflop?

Hi,

Very nice piece of Software, ty guys...

just one doubt, I have my right mouse button for fold option, is there anyway to make it also check the fold box mark while not in my turn to act?

thank you

You just want to add position criteria to the betting tab? Of course that's fine...

Yes to the second part. Right now TN automatically places a bet amount in the bet box, but it requries some input from the player to make the bet (or a different bet). If it autobet for you (this is what I would take autobet to mean) then it would be too close to a bot and violate stars' ToS.

I agree 100% with you that assigning a duplicate hotkey should result in both fields being highlighted red until the conflict is resolved.

We are looking into assigning multiple actions to the same key, I am not sure how we will end up handling this, but I know it is something people would like and we are definitely not ignoring it.

Thanks,

Tarath

Hey, glad you like the software

Regarding your question, if you are in any Table Control mode except for Table In Foreground (TiF) assigning right click to the AA Check/Fold hotkey does this.

Unfortunately we cannot safely offer this kind of hotkey in the TiF mode. We used to have the AA Check/Fold click the check or fold buttons if they appeared and the check/fold checkbox if they did not. The problem is that in the "Table in Foreground" method if you hit the AA check/fold hotkey right as a second table suddenly needed action, stars would put the second table into the foreground and you would accidently act at that table when you intended to click the checkfold AA checkbox at the previous table. Obviously accidently folding a big hand is a huge problem so we made all the advanced action hotkeys not work for regular actions on your turn under the Table In Foreground method.

PokerStars can pop a window into the foreground at any moment so theres not a great way around this problem.

Hopefully I explained the issue clearly, let me know if it makes sense.

Thanks again for all the great suggestions,

Tarath

PS. Yes I was lazy and copied a response I wrote to the same question yesterday

Another issue: (Using Windows XP/NoOverlap/TableInForeground Mode)
If a table is already in the foreground while it becomes your turn to act on that table, the red border moves behind the window, making it very difficult to see.

Actually, things run noticeably smoother when TableNinja is not running compared to when it is. Once again, I'm running Vista 64-bit. I'm still able to play, but it just makes things a little bit laggier. I play 24 tables cascaded on PokerStars.

You are correct about this issue and we think we can fix it in the next update.

We've been getting several lag reports and we will definitely make improving performance one of our top priorities in the next update.

Thanks for the feedback guys, these are both issues we definitely want to correct as soon as we can.

Tarath

PS. We are reasonably sure that the lag is due to a change we made in the latest update. If those of you with lag problems find it unplayable or are not using the new features then you can revert to the previous version until we release a fix for the lag. Instructions on how to do this our on our site at http://tableninja.com/downloads.php

I downloaded the beta today and so far it's been awesome! I had been using StarsHotkeys and it would get a bit laggy on my computer with a lot of tables open. But TableNinja has been really fast and snappy.

A couple of suggestions:

* I'd like to be able to assign a hotkey for registering for a tournament when I have it highlighted. At the moment I have to manually click the register button.

* An option to pause TableNinja. I have Space assigned as one of my hotkeys, but with TableNinja running I could't enter a space in this textbox so I had to close it to make this post.

astral: the disable hotkeys hotkey does what you want for the second suggestion.

Glad you like the software and thanks for the feedback.

Hotkeys to hit the register, join table, and join waitlist buttons are definitely in the works. Looks like your other question was answer before I could get to it

Definitely let me know if there are any other features you would like to see.

Thanks,

Tarath

Haven't read the whole thread yet. But is there a way to set the auto buy in so it only buys into a set number of tournies? Like the SFSO ahk script. Thanks

Not yet, but we do plan on adding something like this is the future.

Love the changes. The "cycle to first in line" hotkey no longer works for me, but table control is still more efficient than with last version.

.

Also, maybe a bit of fluff, but a chat tab would be great and pretty much eliminate my need for ahk scripts. It be nice to have maybe 12 to 24 slots where I can enter a phrase and assign a hotkey.

Keep up the great work guys.
