Whoa; hadn't played in about 6 weeks; just started playing again, and TN prompted me to install an update (so I did), and it over-wrote all of the TN settings I'd painstakingly set up! Is this a known issue, and if so, how do I recover all of my previous settings!?

(EDIT: it's also acting like I haven't purchased/activated it...which I have -- but in the purchase/update screen, it's prompting me to enter a Purchase Code)

Usually this would mean you've installed the update to a different folder than where you originally installed the program. Microsoft has a tool for cleaning up problem installations. Please visit:

http://www.softpedia.com/progDownloa...oad-18442.html

Click one of the "Softpedia Mirror" links on the left and download the Windows Install Cleanup Utility. Make sure TableNinja is closed and use the utility to remove it. Then download and install a fresh copy of TableNinja from the website. If you no longer have access to your serial please PM me the email address you used when you purchased TableNinja and I'll resend your serial to that address.

If I do this though, will it bring back all the settings I set up...?
Doesn't seem like it will...(?)

No, the settings would be gone. The problem is I don't know where your original install is. By default the program would be in C:/Program Files/TableNinja. This is also the default folder for the update though. If you could find your original install folder you could copy the TNConfigAutoLoad.txt file to backup the settings. After running the cleanup utility you can paste the file back into the new installation folder to replace the settings.

Here's the thing: I'm 98% sure that I installed it originally (last December) to the default C:/Program Files/TableNinja location, and I'm equally certain that that's where the update installed itself too. In fact, I'm 100% certain of this because in my C:/Program Files/TableNinja folder, there are certain files (the LOG_README and TN_EULA files for instance) whose "Date modified" is December 9, 2010, which is when I first installed TN. (Also, I'm not one to mess with default install folders.)

The *only* unusual thing I can think of is that during the update process this morning, TN experienced a fatal error, and made me kill the process....then I re-initiated the update, and it updated properly (well...properly except for the fact that it completely wiped all of my settings / registration info, as I've described). I don't know enough about computers to know the specifics, but it seems like a fatal error during an installation could, in theory, do bad stuff. I dunno.

Hello:

I purchased Table Ninja a while ago when I was stack and tiling tables. Now Im trying to play just stacked on pokerstars and I have a problem.

The problem is that the tables without any user intervention needed keep popping on top of the table where Im making a decision. It really annoys me as I have to be constantly minimizing this tables that pop.

What can the problem be? I already tried desabling animations with no luck and also disable the pop tables where action is needed on the pokerstars client.

Can you guys help?

Usually this is caused by choosing a different install folder but it sounds like this copy may have become corrupt instead. It doesn't sound like you'll be able to save your settings. The cleanup utility should solve the problem though. Once you have reset your options you can go to TableNinja>File>Save Current Config As to make a backup of your settings.

Are you playing SnG's? Please send a copy of the following files to support@alxsoftware.com and I'll check them over for errors:

1) Your TNLog and TNConfigAutoLoad files. You will find them in C:\Program Files\TableNinja

2) A screen shot of the table with your HUD displayed. See instructions at http://www.iopus.com/guides/screenshot.htm. Please send the screen shot even if you don't have a HUD or custom table theme.

Hi!

I've tried to use TableNinja with Pokerstars, playing sngs. Lost many tourneys cause I timed out many times.
I was using a custom PS table layout where I stacked all the tables (10-12).
I've configured all the settings I could find in the PS client and in TN, so that tables should never gain focus, only if I cycle to a table.
But still, it seems like, tables are gaining focus when I time out.
The big problem connected to the timeouts is that the Cycle to "First in Line" table hotkey doesn't seem to work properly, sometimes I have to push the button like 3-4 times, sometimes it doesn't work at all.

Does anybody use a configuration, where only the above mentioned cycling hotkey is used, and tables don't gain focus by any other triggering event?

Or could someone suggest a good PS+TN configuration?

Ps.: I'm also using PT3+HUD.

Try going to TableNinjaFT>Annoyances and set a hotkey for "Sit out next hand All tables".

I purchased TN yesterday. I have trouble with my mouse now. Anytime any action happens on any table it causes my mouse to stop/pause while I'm trying to move it. I have asked a few friends who use TN and they don't have any issues like this, any ideas?

for PokerStars

thanks,
Lusky

Are you using Microsoft Security Essentials? If so try adding TableNinja to its list of excluded programs on its options tab. Also make sure UAC is disabled according to the following instructions:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...UAC+(Windows+7)

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...Off+UAC+(Vista)

This is caused by the auto "I'm back" feature. Try checking the box marked "Toggle 'Never Sit Out' for cash games in TableNinja>Annoyances.

I am having problems with TN FT. I am in my trial period, and all had been working reasonably well (ie within the inherent limitations of the software) for the past couple of weeks, though I had not been going much past 10 tables at the same time. Today however I got up to 16 tables (sometimes cascading, sometimes tiled) and on at least 3 occasions TNFT went into what can only be described as either a 'folding frenzy' or a 'betting frenzy'- meaning it automatically 'clicked' first fold, then bet (ie on 2 different occasions) across as many tables as it could before I was forced to manually shut it down! What's going on here? I can't use this software going forward if it's going to do stuff like that...note: I use left-dpad for fold and red-button-B for bet on a MS Wireless Controller, so it's not a case of any buttons getting 'jammed' down or similar. Thx, Marv

TableNinjaFT has several internal controls to prevent hotkeys from being sent to a table other than what was targeted when the key is hit. This shouldn't be possible without some sort of software conflict or major setup problem. I reccomend you stop using TableNinjaFT until I can figure out what happened. Please send a copy of the following files to support@alxsoftware.com. I'll check them over for errors and setup a teamviewer if necessary:

1) Your TNFTLog and TNFTConfigAutoLoad files. You will find them in C:\Program Files\TableNinjaFT

2) A screen shot of the table with your HUD displayed. See instructions at http://www.iopus.com/guides/screenshot.htm. Please send the screen shot even if you don't have a HUD or custom table theme.

Hi, I'm having issues whilst stacking stars tables with TN.

It sometimes goes into a 'betting frenzy' which causes me to not only have to shut own table ninja but I lose lots of equity in the MTTs I'm playing in and stresses me out which leads to tilt.

This is massively frustrating.

Other issues whilst stacking are that sometimes the table underneath appears through sometimes the table in focus showing misleading information such as the wrong flop, that is a ridiculous bug.

Any idea what is causing either of these problems?

I need this sorted asap so please respond asap

I've not had a report like this. TableNinja has no control over the look over you tables. I'm not sure how a table could have the wrong information displayed. This may be a problem with the PokerStars client. Have you tried reinstalling it? If your still having trouble after please send a copy of the following files to support@alxsoftware.com and I'll check them over for errors:

I'm having a problem where I have middle button, right button and left button all bound to "a","s","d" respectively.

I have the table control at "Table under mouse". When I send the hotkeys, they sometimes don't work. I sometimes have to press them 2-5 times before they end up working. This happens maybe 1 in every 3-5 times...

Any ideas?

Hi Tarath

I purchased TN about a year and a half ago when it first came out, since then my license has expired and I havent been playing as much poker. I have gone through my old emails and found my original purchase code, and am about to renew my license. However, I am now using a different computer to the one I was previously using, will this cause me any problems at renewal? I will be using my original computer again very soon, but currently am using a laptop.

Also, the keyboard on my laptop is currently broken so I have to use the on screen keyboard, will this cause a problem with TN? I dont use the keyboard when playing poker anyway, but wondered if it would cause any problems during installation/setup.

Thanks

I've not had a report of a filter changing while its in use. There is some inconsistant behavior with the Stars filter but if you run into the problem the filter is unusable from the first time you try it. If your min/max buy-ins are being reset you'll need to backspace out the filter name in TableNinja, then reset the filter in Stars, rename and save the filter again. Most users report only needing one or two attempts to get a working filter saved. Once you have a working filter the problem shouldn't return.

You can use the same serial on any number of computers but it will only unlock two computers at the same time. The registration process is completely automatic. If you need to remove an old profile to install TableNinja on a new computer you will be prompted automatically when you install the program.

I've never tried playing with only the onscreen keyboard. You shouldn't have any trouble installing the program but I can't say for sure if keyboard hotkeys will work though its very likely they will.

it tries to buy in but fails and keeps trying until stars cancels the buy in procedure
