You want the Cycle to be to register for as many as you think are available to register at that time... If they fill up every 2 minutes 6 at a time, then your bet "Cycle" should be 4 every 120 seconds. Once you reach the "Target" it will not register more.
The "Total Tournaments" will register the max you want... So if you want to play a session of 16 tournaments, set it as 16...
The Keep Tables Open at a time will be the max that you want open at a time...
That should do it?
Thanks a lot for trying to help!
Sorry, but I'm still really confused.
Let's break it down so that I can understand it. There are 3 things to choose in the first section:
Target Number
Max Per Cycle
Seconds Between Cycle
If I want to play 10 tables all at the same time and then finish the session, then I should enter 10 as the target number. That part I get. But I'm not too clear on the 'cycles'. In the example above I was playing 1-table SNGs which can be registered for 10 at once, but what if I want to play 2-table SNGs, which can only be registered to one at a time in the lobby? If I understood your message correctly, then I need to decide how often a new one appears in the lobby (let's say every 60sec) and then set the cycle to (60sec * 10 = 600sec)? Please let me know if that is correct.
A further confusion for me is the 'max per cycle'. In the example above what actually constitutes a 'cycle'? Is a cycle the act of being registered to a tourney, or is it the process of being registered to all 10 tourneys?
The most likely usage for me will be to get up 30 2-table tourneys for 3 hours. In that case, I don't know what the target number of tourneys will be - should I just set the target number to 1000 or something, and then enter the 'Keep 30 open for 3 hours' in the bottom section?
By the way, I did sit and watch the instructional video, and also read through the TN website before I made any posts here. They really were not useful for understanding how this part of TN works. I think there should be better definitions for each selection criteria, to eliminate any confusion for the users.
Thanks again for the help!
