Hey guys,

I am going to be on vacation for the next two weeks. I will try and check in on this thread as much as possible, but I will be a bit less responsive than usual. My partner is going to help out and try and respond to any bugs or feature requests while I'm gone. He's new to 2p2 so I wanted to introduce him, his screen-name is spectacle_triage. He knows the program inside and out and has handled most of the serious programming so I'm sure he'll be able to help with any issues anyone might have.

We're both going to keep working on improving TableNinja while I am gone so hopefully we will still be able to get a new version out to you guys before too much longer.

Thanks,

Tarath

Hi,

I'm the aforementioned programmer and other half of the TableNinja team.

You may note that this is my first post on 2+2. I'm a casual player at best, and have probably logged more time on stars testing TableNinja than I have playing to win. So, if you see someone playing like they _want_ to lose a sng just to test a pop-up closer... say hi after you take my chips

As tarath said, I'll be watching the forums and responding as best I can so he can get some much needed relaxation in. Unfortunately, I do have a day job, so don't be too disappointed if overall we're a little less responsive than usual.

Keep the feature requests coming and hopefully we'll have a new version out soon!

the warning you get when you open a 25th table, also pops up when you open the last hand replayer on stars, when you are 24 tabling. can be annoying, could there be a way to disable the warning after the first one?

Hey,

We are planning on making the 25th table warning optional, because as you said, it can be annoying at times.

Thanks,

Tarath

I think someone mentioned that they had problems with TableNinja and StarsHotKeys at the same time in NL so I'll describe my setup (which has no problems although I'm waiting for the feature additions to Ninja so I don't need the AHK anymore).

I do stacked sets of SNGs using Ninja for the betpot sizing, time bank clicking, sng registration assistance, and all-in hotkey. The AHK script handles table selection (scrolling through the stack to and fro), sit back in, sng register hotkey, send numpad to betbox, and the actual fold, check/call, and bet functions (because it uses the pre=bet check boxes when applicable).

The only 'conflict' with this setup is the rare error of ninja missing the pot size and popping the annoying error (although it happens just as often due to stars changing table focus due to bust outs, new tables opening, etc. at the 'wrong' time versus my manual flipping through the stack). Since I check the betsize before firing anyways this isn't a big deal for me.

Great product and still waiting anxiously for more features!

Is anyone else having a problem that tableninja will not let you click on any thing else in your tool bar or desk top at times other than the poker client.

Hi,

your software is amazing, but it is not working for me!?

I downloaded it yesterday the first time the problem i am having is, that it seems to not detect the pot size right, the amount it wants to bet is always eather all in or close to it.

What could the problem be? Also if I sit down on a very small table it alwas wants to buy in with more than the max.

I tryed putting the preflopbetsize to 1% of the pot but nothing changed.

If i put at default bet amount 0,03 bb plus 0,01 per limper it raises to 3bb + 1bb per limper as long as nobody raist before me. Even if i put 1% of pot on flop turn and river it still just gives me the option to bet redicoulus amounts like 20 $ in a 80 cents pot

Hey,

Are your regional settings in Windows set to English? If not try changing them, go to the Control Panel and open the Regional and Language Options and select English as the "Current Format." This should fix the problem.

If it does not, let me know,

Tarath

I think I'm getting this pot size error more times than most people. I 18-22 table 25NL and I run PT3 and its HUD at the same time. I get this message about every 3 or 4 hands on average. This doesn't happen as often when I'm not running PT3 at all.

Its becoming a big issue for me, as I have a very limited time to react. The betting feature is most important to me. I love everything about this program, and I really don't want to stop using it.

Please come up with a fix for this issue.

thanks

We've been working really hard on coming up with a fix to this and we have something in the works that we think has a good chance of fixing the problem. We still need to do a little more work with it but we are trying our best to get it out asap.

We have a small group of volunteer testers to whom we send new versions early for testing. If you'd like me to add you to the list just PM me your email.

In the mean time if you are in vista and have a version of vista that can run the Windows Aero theme then switching to that and following our stacking and cascading documention should fix your problem.

We're working really hard on getting this fixed soon, thanks for being patient,

Tarath

A small group of people are having this problem both with PT3 and with HEM. Its the same problem as the previous poster so I am just going to copy my response to him below.

Sorry your having problems, we're working hard on a fix,

Tarath

I use XP and am not sure what exactly "scrape tables" means. Am I supposed to have this checked? I cascade tables. Does this program have any means to move a table to a diff spot if either you time out or want more time to play a hand and or see a result?

Thx

Has this issue where if you are moved to a new table in a tournament the window closes and you have to go to the tourney lobby and hit take your seat been resolved?
Is this a problem with TableNinja or the Pokerstars software?

"scrape" means to read and process the image that is displayed in the stars table window. We do this to detect when buttons are there, or read the size of the pot, etc.
Information on what settings you should use if you stack/cascade depending on your version of windows and windows theme can be found here:
http://tableninja.com/faq.php#I%20am...h%20TableNinja

In general, Windows XP does not allow us to scrape windows that aren't on top, but Vista (using the Windows Aero theme) does. We're in the process of making these settings more intuitive.

We also plan on implementing a "set this table aside" feature, but I'm not sure when it will be done. We will have a "save previous hand history" hotkey in the next version for sure.

This does seem to be the cause of the few pot scraping errors people are getting. If TableNinja tries to read the pot size as tables are swapping position over each other, it could read from the wrong table which may just make it read nothing, or read the pot from the wrong table.

In the next version pot scraping should be much more reliable, and we hope to implement our own hotkey for swapping table order which will play nicely with scraping.

This problem was mentioned by another user and is an issue with TableNinja that we are working on. We haven't pinned down the problem exactly, but it seems that TN is fooled into thinking the tourney is done when you are just being moved to a new table.

If anyone has played a multi-table tourney and _not_ had this happen, let us know since it will help us figure out how to differentiate between the two situations.

Quick poll: Is anyone actually using the "Cycle tables with Hotkey" (CTwH) option?

From what we've heard, this may be a feature that nobody wants.

We do realize that people want to use "Table In Foreground" (TiF) and have hotkeys to cycle through the table order while stacking/cascading, and are working on that feature. Once we have stack cycling, if nobody's using it, we may get rid of CTwH to avoid any confusion and to clean up the interface.

No need to mention if you're not using it... but please speak up if you are.

I use it to cycle through my tables currently. Is there a different way to do it?
