Hey Tarath,

I know that Sensei will have it's count off if the player has a future preregistered tournament (it's happened to me and I've seen several posts by others confirmed by you as a known issue). My question is: What's exactly the criteria for this to happen? I had a future preregged tourney the other day and adjusted my table count for it but sensei wasn't off at all (so I ended up with an extra table instead). Is there something consistent we can look for?

I think he raised the price some months back, after giving a lot of warning in this thread. Presumably he needed to cover his costs and to keep development going.

To be honest, I probably would pay more than $100 / year for this product, since it has saved me enough time and money to more than make up for the cost, though the developer probably needs to set the price lower to get more customers and revenue.

I suspect the price might increase more in the future, though I would think that there would be ample warning here. You could always buy the lifetime updates option now, since I think that that price is most likely to increase soon.

(I've paid a total of $55 for the software + lifetime updates, so the current price is only $5 more.)

Unfortunately we haven't really figured out exactly how Stars behaves in this case and it does not seem to be consistent. I don't really know how Stars decides when to record that you're registered in a future tournament and when not to.

I'm sorry :/

Lyrrad's response is pretty much exactly right. When we ended the beta testing period we raised the price to $35 and we gave at least 1 month (I believe it was several months) warning to everyone before hand so that everyone had plenty of time to purchase at the lower price if they wanted to.

Making a software product and providing top notch customer support is neither cheap nor easy so we had to raise our prices a little bit and I know that no one likes it when prices go up. But, for most of our users I think TableNinja is still a bargain (I hope) when you consider what it can do for your winrate and how much better it makes your poker playing experience.

This feature is currently in a version that our testers are playing with. Once we've gotten feedback from them and made sure that there aren't any bugs we'll release it to the public.

Thanks!

I'm using the trial version right now, so far very impressed! I do have a problem with focus stealing though. I stack SNGs and whenever a new table opens it steals focus from any active table and will not go back without hitting the cycle to first in line hotkey.

Glad you like the program

For the issue you are having, as Shinigami said, unfortunately pokerstars does this (it will happen even if TableNinja is not running) and we do not have any way from stopping them from doing this.

Thanks and let me know if you have any other questions,

Probably a stupid question, but is the cycle to first in line the best way to deal with this?

Also is there a way to change the "home" position of the mouse when it snaps to the table after hitting the cycle to first in line hotkey?

The "Cycle to first in line" is definitely the best way to handle this situation. Unfortunately the mouse jump position is not customizable.

I think Elky is in the guinness book of world records for playing 62 SnGs in 1 hour while having a winning session, so I'm sure a number of people who post on this thread could break that record pretty easily if they tried. Its possible a lot of TN users are breaking this record on a regular basis just playing their usual games.

Some details on ElkY's attempt are here: http://www.pokerlistings.com/elky-grinds-to-sng-world-record-39706

As I am still trying to navigate the features I was wondering how do I get the tables to "stack". The Stars menue gives me the option to cascade or tile only.

I noticed after I initially loaded TN it gave me a screen to select my table layout (Tile, cascade stack etc..) I selected tiled I think?? Is this a once only install feature or have I missed something?

Thanks Again

p.s. I have gone to the set up tab and selected stacked on the table layout drop down box but the tables dont stack as the games load so I have to drag them with the mouse to achieve the stack.

Glad you like the program

TableNinja does not actually stack tables for you. That setting on the setup tab is just there so that you can tell TableNinja how your tables are set up so that it can optimize its performance.

However, I have written a little guide on how to use the built in Stars table layout tools to stack your tables for you. Its very easy, especially if you use one of TableNinja "set table aside" hotkeys. You can read my detailed instructions here: http://tnforums.tableninja.com/showthread.php?t=201

Thank you very much Tarath.

A version with stack size display in BBs is currently with our beta testers. It should be out to the public quite soon

Thanks

For some reason if i had TN set to have 20 tables open it would try to open 21 so to have 20 open i had to set it to 19. I played all day and it only started doing it tonight. Anyone else having this problem?

Sometimes being registered for a tournament in the distant future (for example if you have won a satellite) can cause this problem. Its also possible that this could occur if you manually unregistered for a tournament by hand and TableNinja did not detect the unregistration for some reason.

Does the problem go away if you restart the program? Let me know.

Few feature requests for TN :

1) hotkey to check/uncheck 'dont show winning hand'..
2) hotkey to switch between custom table layouts
3) hotkey to switch between configurations in TN

Thank you.

Also, off-late TN has started to NOT automatically handle BB. Was working fine until I optimised my windows vista for 'best performance' from control panel>system>advanced. Even worse, it seems to be random.
Also, when using 'sit out next BB on all tables' 'auto-post blinds' are not unchecked on SOME normal speed tables. At times they are unchecked but checked back on when it comes around and then unchecks again before posting SB. This pops-up the request 'post SB or sitout' ! Any suggestions on getting around this ?

I am using 'classic' theme now. With 'black theme' none of the normal speed tables would uncheck 'auto post blinds' on using ' sit-out next BB on all tables' and 'handle BB annoyances' worked on none. All this started only once I optimised windows for 'best performance' and there were no problems before.

I am using 'stacked' table layout.

Regards
