I am on XP. So guess i'll try some more ram then.

For those of you having problems with mouse hotkeys in Windows 7 we have found a work around. We are still hoping to solve this problem more thoroughly but in the mean time try the following:

1) Right Click on the TableNinja shortcut on your desktop
2) Chose "Properties" and go to the compatibility tab
3) Select "Run this program in compatibility mode for" Windows Vista SP2

Mouse hotkeys should then work with no problems.

Let me know if that helps,

Thanks

I'm sorry if this question has already been asked/answered, unfortunately this thread is quite long and the word "hotkeys" appears 40 times on every page. When I assign hotkeys to change bet size they work correctly, but when I check the box to automatically click Bet, it doesn't click bet.

Same thing with the "Action Hotkeys" -- no hotkey I assign to Bet, Check, Call or Fold do anything at all. If I have Table Ninja open in the background I can see the hotkey highlighted when I press it on an active table, but nothing happens at the table itself, just like checking the "Automatically Click Bet" box doesn't click bet. Is there some obvious configuration setting I am missing or was there a PS update that broke this functionality?

What pokerstars theme are you using? It sounds like you are likely using an unsupported theme or else you set your PokerStars theme incorrectly on the setup tab. TableNinja only officially supports the classic and hypersimple themes. Other themes may work but we make no gaurantees.

Hope this helps,

Tarath

EDIT: You can use the "Click Buttons by Locations" Hotkey to click the left middle or right pokerstars button (fold, check/call, bet/raise). The Click buttons by locations hotkeys work on any theme.

Thanks! I was actually using Hyper Simple but while I was looking for the "click by location" setting I realized I had it set to "Classic" instread of Hyper Simple. That fixed it.

Think i missed this one earlier sorry. We do plan to add Slick theme support in the future, black theme support would be further down the line.

Tarath,

I'm relatively new to TableNinja (love it btw) and an all around technical failure, so forgive me if I'm missing something easy. However, TN doesn't seem to recognize and pop up my tables. It did when I first installed, but now the table pops up and the mouse pops over but the table is highlighted as "first in line" instead of "target table" so I have to click on the table to get it to highlight in as "target table" and activate the hotkeys.

Often times it will pop up as the "target table" then immediately change to "first in line."

Settings: Table In Foreground: Jump Mouse to table
Vista
Classic PS theme
tried both stacked and overlapping.

Thanks!

Hmm, do you know what Windows Vista theme you are using? If not you can email a screen shot to support@alxsoftware.com and I should be able to identify it for you.

Are you running any AHK or other programs that might be interacting with the pokerstars windows?

Hopefully with that information I can help you get things working.

Thanks,

Tarath

Thanks! I'm running the aero theme and I'm not running any AHK scripts or anything unusual other than my PT3.

Have you updated to the latest TableNinja version (version 1.1.25.0)? Thats about the only explanation for this I can think of.

Try downloading the latest version here and I am hopeful that things will work: http://tableninja.com/downloads.php

If that does fix things I'll need you get in touch by email so I can have you send me some files with additional information as you are the first person to ever report this kind of bug and I'm not really sure what could be going on.

Good luck!

I think the problem was that the mouse was jumping to where my HUD box was. Didn't think this used to be an issue, but I may be mistaken. Anyway, moving the HUD box on that seat seems to make it work like a charm again!

Thanks for your help!

This ought to be possible, and would certainly save everyone a bit of clicking.

I've never personally tried that controller, but I think the odds are good that it would work. To set up a controller with TableNinja you basically need to get the controller working with Xpadder, JoyToKey, or any other program that converts the gamepad input into keyboard input. Once that is done TableNinja doesn't care what kind of controller it is, everything will just work. Xpadder has a really long list of gamepads they support so a bit of googling will probably tell you what you need

You can use TableNinja on up to 2 computers with one purchase, but you will need a second code (which I am happy to send you for free). We send out the first code automatically, and then we ask that people email us to request their second code.

So after you purchase just email support@alxsoftware.com and we'll get you your second code.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

Would it be possible to add a hotkey for the view menu in the Stars lobby to change the table layout. I like to switch between stacked and cascaded and can't see any other way to do this.

Feature(s) request (for cash games) :

1 ) In a stacked (table) configuration it is tough to pick out all those tables which we are sitting out from ( in cash games, especially 'fast tables'). These tables does pop up, but might take valuable time closing while, say, 24 tabling. If a hotkey could take all 'sitting out' tables to a side (space set by dummy table, maybe), it'll be great. also, this way it'll be lot easier to differentiate 'timed out' tables from those which we intentionally sat out (say, using 'sit out next blind'). (or maybe, close all those tables that we are sitting out while we were supposed to be in BB .. sorry, if asking too much ? )

2) Filtering tables by using 'number of players currently on table'. eg: for 6max, filtering out all other tables but those with 5 players.
- I understand we can arrange the tables by 'number of players' to buy-in to tables with 5 players, but then it'll be tough table selecting based on , say, average pot or players per flop etc. (if a similar filter option for 'avg pot' or 'num of players per pot' could be made, even better.. )

3) Auto-closing of tables that are full. I click on a table with 5 players and by the time I get to the table the seat is already taken and another table pops-up for action. It'll be great if you add an option to auto-close such tables.

4) An auto-buyin (i.e automatically opens pre-set number of tables from those available in lobby) option, similar to autoregister for tourneys. Though, this might not be as useful without an advanced filter, esp for those who table-select.

5) Hotkeys to switch between 'custom table layouts'

Thanks

ps: I'm sorry if any of these features already exist on TN. Would be great if someone could help me

You can do this from the table (instead of the lobby) by clicking the little icon with two rectangles just to the right of the dealer stack.

However I think adding a hotkey for this is a great idea regardless, but in the mean time hopefully the tip above will help.

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

I think (1) is a great idea and is probably doable.

For (2) if you right click on the row with AVG pot # of players etc, you can set Stars to sort by # players and THEN by AVG pot so you can see the tables with 5 players sorted by avg pot all next to eachother.

(3) We might be able to auto close tables where the auto buy-in doesn't go through successfully I'll look into it.

(4) Unfortuantely anything that does any kind of sophisticated table selection would definitely count as "making a poker decision for you" and almost certainly be disallowed by Stars.

(5) This one is another great idea that I think we can do.

Thanks guys!

Feature suggestion - I'd like a hot key or something easy to temporarily disable "auto take seat". It's a hassle if I want to open up a table just to watch and for when I'm trying to sit out and still on waiting lists.

Hi, great software, i love it. just purchased software + lifetime updates.

but im posting an issue here just to see if this is happening to anyone else.

problem:

Tableninja immediately closes the 'you finished the tournament in X place' popup, and under the 'annoyances' tab, i have 'automatically close single OK button popups' disabled.

Additionally, even if i tell program to automatically close finished tournaments after, say, 5 seconds, 6 seconds, etc, ... the "You have finished in X place" popup is still closed immediately.

obviously not a catastrophic issue, but wondering if this happens for anyone else?

running XP if relevant

again thanks for this great software, happy to have bought the regd version.

Hmm, I'm not sure what could be causing that. Is a different table popping up before you hit enter?

We don't interact with the chat box at all with info tab refresh turned off so this is a bit of a mystery to me.

Do you have enter assigned to a hotkey?

We could probably hook this into the "disable hotkeys toggle" in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

We did have one user email us about a similar problem a day or two ago and I have since then reproduced the problem and realized that it actually happens almost all the time (I generally have my timer set to 0 so I didn't notice).

Unfortunately changing this behavior may not be easy as its the way it needs to be for everything else to work properly.

I'm sorry.

Oh ok well no apology neccesary Im still a happy customer. But then again I guess that's why i bought lifetime updates for 55$ so that maybe if im lucky, this issue would be fixed in the future when you guys are finished perfecting the more critical issues?

And as i wrote in the email to you let me know if you need a test dummy in this matter.

Also, i don't mean to hammer you with this issue by emailing it and THEN posting it, i was just posting it because i wanted to know if other people are experiencing this problem so that i can rule it out as a problem specific to my computer only :P
