OK I figured it out. It will click the "R" if I do not have the table open. However when I start a session I open all of my tables first and join the waiting list by clicking the "join waiting list" button at the table.

Not a problem for me as I really don't need to have the tables open first, but it may be a problem for others. I will just join the waiting list from the lobby instead.

Make sure this is a separately configured option/checkbox, i would rather have to click yes or no when the popup for seat available comes up. This way when i already have my max # of tables i can chose to click no or look through my active tables to decide if one needs to be replaced.

I don't know why and how, but I googled for a solution.

I followed those steps (didn't have "Layers" so I created that folder) and now it's still greyed out for me, but it's also checked.

This program is going to be great!

The hardest part is figuring out what hotkeys and defaults to use to make life easier. I know I want to be able to do everything with my right hand on the mouse and my left hand on the left side of the keyboard.

This program is AWESOME, but I've got 2 questions/issues:

I usually 20 table 45 man SNGs on Stars, and with TableNinja I usually just wait until a table that needs action pops up to the foreground and it works great, except for:

1) If I have the "automatically close finished tourneys" box checked, it will close a table every time I get moved to a new table, then it is a huge pain to try and hunt down which SNG got closed and go get it back open. FWIW I also have the "close single ok button popups" box checked and it works fine without the close finished tourneys button checked.

2) I'm using Windows XP and my monitor has just a bit of overlap when I have 20 tables tiled, and it's usually not a problem for TN at all except sometimes the frames will leave a "residue" image (usually the black and pink ones) on a part of an adjacent table that it was overlapping, then when that table becomes active TN can't scrape it because the stupid leftover frame image is stuck there. If I move my mouse over the frame image it goes away, but until then it won't take any hotkey actions. With all frames disabled it works fine with no problems but it's just a bit harder to discern which table is on top when more than 1 need attention and appear to all be in the foreground. Also FWIW I've tried it with the "only scrape foreground windows" box checked and unchecked and nothing changes.

Other than those though, this program is great and I'll def. buy it as soon as the beta is over, maybe sooner.

Also, is there any way for Table Ninja to auto tile the tables as they open?

Moving the mouse around sucks, i set these ahks/apps to be all keyboard. With TN i just use the mouse to get on waiting lists/table select. Just preference i guess.

Suggestion: Make it work like Stars Planner but have it set up so when one table closes, all the others move up one spot to fill in (the tables will go from oldest at the top left to newest at the bottom right, or however we set up our layout). And make this layout function work with FTP tables as well please (should be easy and a lot of your customers multi-site).

It looks like the option gets greyed out when you have User Account Control turned off. You can change the option when you have UAC turned on.

Your first issue is definitely a bug we need to fix but I am having a bit of trouble recreating it. My understanding is that when you switch tables it closes the new table for that tournament, is this true? What does the info tab of the old tournament say?

Let me know and hopefully we can get this fixed quickly.

The frames are definitely something we plan to completely overhaul before we end the beta. We're going to focus on adding features for a bit longer, but we are planning adding new much better frames that won't cause any of these issues in the future.

I tried this for a while tonight. I liked it at first but then when I opened a bunch of tables I couldn't figure out which table I was acting on. Also if you move the mouse at all it messes things up even more.

I ended up switching back to the "mouse over" option. By the end of the session I wasn't using the keys at all. I was using the mouse for everything by using the default bet with the scroll wheel.

Sorry, I was a little vague in my description of the first problem. It happens when, in a MTT (or MTT SNG) Stars moves you to a new table in the same tournament to balance the tables and you get that little "you have been moved to a new table" popup with the OK button. So the actual table window stays the same, you're just at a new tournament table.

When I've got the "close finished tournaments" box checked on Table Ninja I think it thinks that the tournament is finished when Stars moves me to a new table because it instantly closes the table as soon as the "you have been moved" popup comes up. And like I said before it doesn't happen otherwise if I have the "close finished tourneys" box unchecked and still have the "handle single OK popups" button checked. In that case it works perfectly and the little OK button is automatically checked and I'm up and running at my new table. Of course, I've got to manually close all of the tourneys I bust out of, but that's not a big deal, overall Table Ninja is a really great piece of software.

Dont you use the frames that highlight the active table? I made mine red for active/targeted table (not sure if thats the default) then i made the "next in line" color blue so i'd not only know which table i was acting on but which one it will go to next. Also i am using the hotkey for switching to the next active table so i can skip an active table if i need time to think about it and get the rest of the tables taken care of. I do tile all my tables tho, so i can see everything going on, so it might not be ideal if overlapping/cascading/mega tabling. Like i said earlier tho, its all just personal preference.

Besides this bug, it absolutely rocks! I used it for 50.000 hands of fullring and i will never play without it again!

If I click on the table or mouse over the table to activate it. it autmaticly fills in the text field the bet pot amount. Dunno if it is a bug? or some setting?

one issue i have is it doesnt automatically click the SIT option in the 'SIT? or WAIT?' window that pops up when u come up next off a waiting list to sit down at a cash table. i still use starsassistant just for that one click.

it does pick a seat and buy in automatically tho.

i see sit out next hand all tables, but not sit out next _blind_ all tables. am i missing something?
