Hey Guys,

As you know, PokerStars Updated today and broke a lot of programs. We've tested TableNinja and as far as we know the only issue is with the "Right Click" hotkey. If you assign right click to a hotkey it will open the Themes menu.

We're almost positive this can be fixed by tonight, but most likely in a way which would make right-click not work in other applications when a table is targeted. (more notes to follow).

As long as your not using right click as a hotkey, everything should work perfectly (including all our Pot-Betting tools), so you can keep using TableNinja as usual.

I'll buy this program immediately if you can get it working with this theme and this cardmod. Hell I'd even buy 2 copies.

If this program can be made to work with the default stars no images theme, than my theme 'should' work, as it uses the same buttons (so I could be sure betpot would work). The only difference at that point would be the grey background behind the hero stack amount in the upper left corner.

I certainly do not mean to be rude, as this program looks very nice. But how can we be sure that it is not stealing information or looking at our computer screens while we play?

Is this just one of those trust things?

Looks like a great program though, and again, I do not mean to offend anyone.

This is a very valid question and don't worry, I am not at all offended.

I understand that privacy is a major issue, however to check for updates and validate purchase codes, TableNinja does need to connect to our server.

TableNinja connects to the internet in the following cases:

1. On start-up.
2. When you open the Purchase/Update menu.
3. When you use your purchase code to unlock the full version.

These transactions are brief and no private information is transmitted save the email address used to purchase TableNinja.

We encourage users who are worried about privacy to run any kind of internet monitor like ZoneAlarm to verify that TableNinja only connects at these times and that the amount of data transmitted is far far too small to contain any sensitive poker data (the amount of data we send is much smaller than the hand history file from a single hand).

Unfortunately we don't know of any way to 100% prove that our software doesn't contain any spyware. Like you said to some extent you may have to trust us. You can also look on this thread if you like and see that we have happy users who are using the program. If anyone has suggestions as to other ways for us to demonstrate that TableNinja contains no spyware or malicious code we welcome them.

I understand that for some people, a program like TableNinja that connects to the internet simply posses to big a risk. That's their choice and we understand and respect it. We also believe that most people are trusting people and will give TableNinja a chance.

If you have any other questions about this issue definitely let me know, we will do whatever we can reasonably do to demonstrate that TableNinja is safe.

For those of you who were having problems using "Right Click" as a hotkey with the new Stars updates you can now fix this by doing the following.

Click the Options drop down in the PokerStars® Lobby and uncheck the "Right Click to show Table Themes" option.

Hope this helps,

By tomorrow night we will be releasing a major update that supports the hyper-simple theme and omaha among other things. We've had a few volunteers from the forums testing it for a few days now, and the feedback has been quite positive

In the mean time, if anyone else would like to try out the update early send me a PM with your email and I'll send you a link.

Thanks,

Tarath

We've made a major update to TableNinja that adds a lot of the features you guys have requested. We're already setting up a list of new features for our next update, so feel free to reply to this thread with any suggestions you may have.

You can download the new version at http://tableninja.com/downloads.php

Here's a quick summary of what we've added:
------------------------------------
New Features in 1.0.68:
  • Added Hyper-Simple Theme Support
  • Added Omaha Support
  • Added a General Tab which contains:
    1. Theme drop down. Use this to pick your theme. Currently Classic and Hyper-Simple are the two options
    2. Minimize to System Tray option
    3. Minimize on Start-up option
    4. Don't pass on right-click from hotkeys when a table is targeted option
  • Added a new frame color for the "First in Line table" which is the table that has been waiting for action the longest other than the target table
  • Added a hotkey to switch the Target table to the "First in Line" table: Note this hotkey is enabled even when non-Stars windows are in focus
-------------------------------------

Thanks and I hope you guys enjoy the new version,

Tarath

Here are some feature requests:

-An option to disable hotkeys. Either a hotkey to suspend the others or suspend hotkeys when the mouse is over the chat/notes window.
-An option to adjust betsize by SBs instead of just BBs using the scroll wheel
-I'd like a way to use one hotkey for pot sized(or something else on the fixed betting page section) raises preflop and have that hotkey also be a percentage of pot postflop
-When both "Table Under Mouse" and "Bring to foreground?" are checked have the lobby move to foreground when moused over
-A hotkey for joining the waitlist for a table from the lobby

So we've had some reports that the new version will work on some custom themes.

Right now the way we're scraping the pot doesn't work if the background is too close to total black, we're going to look into fixing this in the next update.

If your theme has a background that's not pitch black and uses the fonts or buttons from the Classic or Hyper-Simple themes it may work with TableNinja. We've had one user tell us that his Stealth II theme works with the new update.

If your going to try your custom theme PLEASE be sure to test everything at play money. Even if it worked for someone else depending on their exact set up its possible that you might encounter a problem (if your using features they never use, if you have other programs running, different operating systems, etc)

If you find a theme that works please post it here, we'd like to try and get a list of themes that work with TableNinja.

Hyper-Simple uses the Ordinary base theme, which is very close to the Stars base theme. Most of my themes use the Stars or Ordinary base, and work fine with betpot script, if the betpot-compatible buttons/slider are used. Many of Bar Nuthin's do also.

I've been using mo bigga chips and pro deck 4 with table ninja as well as the hyper gray background all works together well. I have noticed that the fixed bet hotkeys wont work at the odd blind levels, .10-.25, to be exact. Otherwise it is a really great tool and I will be purchasing it later on. thanks

hi there
would be nice to have the following function:
- a function to set the preflop raise automatically to a specific amount is possible, but it would be very nice if i can set amounts for positions because i raise on the button a different amount then i do in middle position.

Hey, there was an AHK script that I got (dont remember what thread it came from, probly the '24 tabling like a pro' thread) that let me hit either home, end, page up, page down, and it would move my active table off of my stack to the side of the screen, such as bottom right, bottom left, upper right, upper left. This would let me focus on other tables, and let me put a table that I needed more time to think off to the side. Any way of implementing this feature into table ninja?

Unfortunately, in one of our fixed bet calculations we were assuming that the big blind was always twice the small blind rather than getting the big blind directly. This should be quite easy to fix, I was just unaware of the bug. I will definitely make sure to get a fix for this into the next update, thanks for letting me know.

The beta doesn't work for sit and gos/tournaments? Do you take Stars transfer for payment?

The beta actually does work in Sit n Gos and tournaments. We've enabled all the features in the beta, so you can download it for free and just start playing.

Sorry for the confusion,

Does TableNinja have an auto-time bank clicker? I didn't see the option in the client. If not, I'd like to request that feature.

LOLROFL!
my username and password are 15 bytes long and this is by far the most sensitive data!

This is a great idea and something we'd like to do in the future. Unfortunately I don't know of a easy way to determine your position in real time (currently we're not scraping for position, so this would be a fair amount of work) and probably isn't something we'll be able to get done immediately.

I think these are all good ideas that should be pretty straight forwards to implement. I think we can get a lot of these into the next update.

I think this should be pretty straight forwards, you're the second one to request it so we'll definitely try and get it done.

I've added all these to my list of feature requests, thanks for the feedback guys, its really helpful and I think we're getting together a really solid list of features for the next update.

Unfortunately, PokerStars doesn't allow this (this is why programs like HEM say they don't accept FT or Stars transfers on their website). Because of this Paypal and Google Checkout are the only payment options. They are both super fast and easy for anyone with a credit card.

If there are a lot of people who really want a different payment option we can look into adding additional options. Feel free to post here and let me know.
