I'm a complete noob, just the 2 days use of the trial so far. I have tried to search, but really haven't found what I was looking for.

Firstly, is there a reason why all keys have a Ctrl with them by default. I was doing this for 30 minutes last night, and found one hand constantly holding Control which seemed silly. I then turned off Control for all the shortcuts, and used just the keys like (j, k, l, for bet, fold, call, check, and it seemed to work just fine. Am I missing some obvious reason why this is a bad idea? I don't intend to chat while playing, so I can't think of anything else.

Also, the joystick idea sounds great. Can I get a couple of examples of what joysticks people have and how many buttons they have assigned. Is it just a case of holding the joystick and nothing else then, or do you still do some things with the mouse/keyboard?

Lastly, Table Ninja does a great job of buying in and restoring the lobby so I can join more tables, but if the table is filled before I get there I'm stuck with a table I'm not sat down at, and the lobby doesn't restore, so I have to find that again, at which point alt-tab goes to the next table, as it thinks the lobby is the current window. Maybe I haven't found this option yet, but an option or even just a key to close an already filled table and restore the lobby would be great. Also, is there any software to automatically open cash game tables or is it just up to the us to keep opening tables from the lobby (god I'm lazy )?

One more thing, how do people know how many tables you are active on? If I want to aim to have at least 16 tables open, when do I know I have 16 active tables?

Few questions and issues I'm having....

1) First question is do I have to buy another subscription to run TJ on my laptop as well as my desktop?

2) Second Issue I'm having is...My bet sizes for sng's are supposed to be set to 3x + 1 BB for every limper but my bets are coming out as min raises and after the flop the bet is supposed to be 65 % of the pot size and it's min betting?

3) Third an issue I'm having is as my desired number of tables begin registering the action table or table requiring immediate action turns to 1st in line and the action table becomes the game that just opened.....How can I change this to make sure that when a new game starts TJ knows that there is no action required on that table?

Thank You

I've got the same issue. I tried to put all tables on the same position to play on my TV, but its unplayable the first few minutes because of the tables where the STT begins and no action is required.

So I was under the impression that once you purchase Table Ninja you could use it on up to 2 computers? I entered my code on the laptop and it worked fine but I then entered it on my desktop and it would not work. Do I need to email you guys for another code or is it only allowed on one system?

When I try to cycle "down" through my tables TN only switches back and forth between the currently active table and the one that was active immediately before that. Cycling "up" seems to work fine, but usually I want to go back to one of the tables that was active recently so being able to properly cycle "down" would be nice. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

On the homepage it says you have to e-mail and will then get another code for free.

The Xbox uses special hardware add-ons to make sure, only licensed Xbox 360 hardware is used on the console, so they can be sure, it will work on the console.

The Xbox WLAN adaptor has such a chip, that only works with a special Xbox program, to check, if the USB Adaptor is really a genuine Xbox accessory.

However, on the PC there are no drivers for this.

So unfortunately, you can't use this USB WLAN Adaptor to get your PC connected to a WLAN.

But don't worry: There are a lot of (cheap) WLAN Sticks for PC, that will work with your PC (but not on your Xbox, since they are missing the Xbox security chip).

There are a lot of questions here so I will do my best to answer everything, let me know if I miss anything.

1) Cntrl is just in all the default hotkey so that new users don't hit them by accident, I personally use a,s,d,f when I play.

2) When you use a program like Xpadder or JoyToKey to use TableNinja with a gamepad you can usually manage to play just with the controller (I like to sit on my couch ). You may have to be a bit creative, but the Xbox has 2 joysticks, 4 dpad buttons, 4 regular buttons and 4 triggers so you can pretty easily assign 12-17 hotkeys and use one joystick for you mouse if you ever need it.

To play with a gamepad I strongly recommend using the "Table In Foreground" table control method and the "Cycle to first in line" hotkey is absolutely needed.

3) On the Opening/Closing tab at the bottom in the "PokerStars lobby" section you can set some options for when the lobby pops up or even set up a "show the lobby" hotkey. From what you're describing you want to check the "Pop up lobby when a new table is detected" box

4) TableNinja will not open cash games for you (such a feature might be used for datamining which would violate Stars policy). What the program can do however is handle waitlist seats for you. The automatic waitlist tools are all on the Opening/Closing tab.

Say you want to play 10 tables. If you manually join 20 waitlists at the start of your session (which you can do very quickly using the "Join waitlist hotkey") and then set TableNinja to "Automatically accept waitlist seats" for a "Maximum Number of Tables" of 10 and then to "Automatically click no if over maximum" then TableNinja will automatically accept a seat, take a seat, and buy in at the first 10 tables where you come off the waitlist and then reject any waitlist seats when you are over 10 tables (but if you close a table it will accept seats again till you are back to 10).

This is a great way to basically never have to waste time clicking around the lobby while playing.

I responded to your email but answering these questions here might help others so I pasted my response below.

1) You can use TableNinja on up to 2 computers with one purchase, but you will need a second code (which I am happy to send you for free). We send out the first code automatically, and then we ask that people email us to request their second code.

2) This general means either that your HUD is covering the box displaying the pot size, or that you are using an unsupported PokerStars theme. Can you send me a screen shot of your tables as well as your TNlog and TNconfig files from your TableNinja install directory?

3) Unfortunately PokerStars automatically brings new tournaments to the front. This is not something TableNinja does, PokerStars just takes control and forces new tournaments into focus. You can use the "Cycle to first in line" hotkey on the Table Control tab to instantly jump back to the table you need to act on any time PokerStars does this.

Unfortunately, as I said above this is not TableNinja moving the tables it is PokerStars and unfortunately we cannot stop them from doing it. Even if you turn TableNinja off, new sit-n-gos will always pop up and get in your way. I highly encourage you to email Stars and tell them how annoying this is if it bothers you.

We've had one other user report this problem and we've never figured out the cause. Can you send meyour TNlog and TNconfig files from your TableNinja install directory? Also what other programs/scripts are you running.

If we can compare your settings to his maybe we can figure out the problem.

I have this issue, perhaps we could compare what we are using and see what's in common.

I am on Vista 64, stacking/maximizing tables, using an 360 Controller, Pokertracker 3 for HUD, and one other AHK called TimeOutHelper.

What about you?

I've got a problem with the sng opener. I set the Target Number to 15 and to keep 15 tournaments open until I played 30. It only opened 13, so I set the target number and "keep tournaments" both to 17. Now there were 15 running. When I was done with the session, I played a total of 28 Tournaments.

Any Idea how to solve that problem?

Can someone tell me why tableninja is giving my desktop a seizure whenever I try to open it?

Trying to do the 30 day trial and as soon as I open it my pokerstars tables start flashing red around the edges (wat) and I lose control of my mouse, the arrow just starts going all over the screen and I can't control it.

Never seen anything like it, kind of amazing really.

*- As soon as I close tableninja my desktop is fine though.

Are you already registered in any tournaments in the future (for example did you win a satellite to something?) I'm not entirely sure what could cause this besides besides already being registered in future tournaments.

Is this happening repeatedly or just once?

I'm sorry you're having problems, hopefully we can get this sorted out quickly.

I've never heard of a problem like this before but I would try to open TableNinja without Stars running, get things configured properly on the "Setup" tab and then open Stars and open some tables.

The red around the tables is probably the frames trying to draw, and my guess is that something in your setup is not at all compatible with the default configuration and that if you open tableninja without Stars, set your configuration, and then try opening stars and bringing up some tables things should work. Also are you running any AHK scripts alongside TableNinja. What you're describing sounds a bit like 2 programs fighting for control.

Let me know if that helps, if not send me an email at support@alxsoftware.com and I'm sure I can help you get things working.

Unforuntately we do not let you customize the hotkey for tile and cascading, you just need to use the built in hotkey.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you want to disable the cntrl key for, but I'm not sure if thats possible. If you can tell me what exactly you are trying to do maybe I can help.

Is there any way to keep a new table from popping up to the front of the screen?

I play 45-man tourneys, and whenever enough players get knocked out in one of the tourneys and I have to move to a new table, that table pops up to the front of the tables I'm trying to place bets at.

I have the option checked that automatically checks 'OK' to make the dialog box disappear, but the table remains on top (I play with my tables stacked) which means I have to minimize the table to get to the ones underneath it that I was trying to place bets on.

Is there a way this can be automatically minimized? This is the only distraction I can think of with this great program and if there is a way around it, it would be awesome.

New user of Table ninja, and it's awesome. Best feature is the simplicity. You don't need to know anything about scripting AHK. It's so simple and effective.

I didn't see any information on how to perfectly stack tables (without just eyeballing" them and spending a lot of time), so I thought I'd write this little tip.

For those wishing to effectively stack tables perfectly, there are a few freeware apps for Windows that do the trick nicely. Today I discovered Sizer. It's a simple app that will size any window (or table) to a pre-defined dimension. And that's cool, but it will also place the window (or table) in a pre-defined location. All you do is right-click on the top (title bar) and select the option.

I opened up 20 tables in Stars (observing), perfectly stacked them all, and saved it as a custom layout called "20-table stack". It's my default now.

I hope this helps some of you who are attempting to stack tables precisely and having troubles. This works great.

We're finding that Windows 7 seems to have problems with the way we read mouse input on some machines. This is an issue we are working on but it sounds like you will not be able to use mouse hotkeys on windows 7 until we figure out a solution.

Sorry

Basically its a 2 step process.

First you need to set up your controller with Xpadder. There are a lot of tutorial videos for this on youtube, for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXKb7...eature=related Follow the instructions there and map your gamepad buttons to keyboard keys.

Once Xpadder is set up TableNinja will treat keyboard input from your gamepad through xpadder exactly the same as regular keyboard input. So just click a hotkey box, press a gamepad button, and that button will be assigned as a hotkey in TableNinja.

I hope this helps.

Glad you like the program

Unfortunately PokerStars pops up the table anytime you are moved to a new table and we cannot really block PokerStars from popping up tables. I highly recommend using the "Cycle to first in line" hotkey from the table control tab to handle this situation. This hotkey will instantly jump you back to the table needing action, so anytime Stars pops up a table that you don't want to deal with just press that hotkey once and your instantly back to the action.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

Is it possible to download old versions somewhere? Since reformatting my computer I'm having problems where fairly often my screens go blank and "Desktop Window Manager" crashes. It causes some timeouts but worse sometimes it won't restart and this makes my computer slow right down unplayably whenever I have actions available (I think this seems to be something to do with having stacked tables without aero).

I don't know if this is something wrong with my computer since formatting or something in a new version as I think I previously had 1.1.23 and now have 1.1.25.

It also might not be to do with tableninja at all as I've only had it occur when both tableninja and HEM are running.

Is there any change from 1.1.23 to 1.1.25 that might cause this?

Thanks!
