Yeah this says they’re just going to reach out the website creator and ask on your behalf. Doesn’t seem like that’ll do much.
If you used a credit card you should do a chargeback. Explain your claim as purchased software and then the site went down and software doesn’t work at all. The credit card company/bank should refund your money. They will reach out to the website and if they get no response in 30-60 days they should refund your money.
