Nice program, was going to switch from TN but unfortunately a few annoyances/bugs are stopping that.

1) Bug: TO was open raising to near 4x when it should have been 2x preflop in zoom (did it twice in about 30 hands, usually raised the correct amount so I'm not sure why it screwed it).

2) Annoyances - wish hotkeys applied to the table underneath the mouse rather than the active table.

3) Annoyances - PS built in hotkeys aren't as good as TN's - TN lets the same hotkey bet a different % on different streets which unfortunately I'm now used to.

The auto bet sizing based on earlier action (ie 3b, 4b, squeeze) is very nice, hopefully you can fix the above issues so I can purchase your program when it comes out of beta.

1. Could you send me your options.ini and log files? You can find them in TO main directory.
2. There is option in pokerstars to send hotkeys to table under mouse. Also TO can activate table under mouse for you.
3. Not sure if I can do anything about that.

Pm me your pokerstars id(case sensitive) and your e-mail and I will send you one month license.
I must also warn that I didn't test TO on windows 8.1.

You need to use "stack" hotkey first to assign table into stack/slot mode.

If you want to tile tables then you should use tiling options, and hotkeys to move tables between monitors.
It is possible to use slots for that as well but it's not what they were designed for.
Is "move new table to slot" option checked when you're opening 13th table?

Let's make an example. I got 72o in the BB, there are 3+ limpers and the flop comes QK9 When it's my turn, i don't even look at the action and just press the fold button. If there were no raises, PS automatically checks. nfortunately, your software recognizes it as a fold, and covers the table with the "Hand folded" grey glaze (if one has the "Hand folded" frame activated obv). This can happen pre-flop or on any street.
any news on that? was the main reason i stopped using teh program after giving it a short try.

Can you go more on detail what info will be available in HUD?
It would be nice to have a show buyin so we can remove titlebar and still have "titlebar info" somewhere on table.

Today, I had to update my PS software again. Since then Table Optimizer started showing errors and suddenly stopped working. Probably because of the PS software update. Do you have an idea when you have this issue fixed?

I just deleted TN from my PC (and am to lazy to install it again), so I am currently not able to play comfortably.

In regard to future PS software updates, I also wonder how much time you think you will generally need to anticipate. I might ask for a lot, but this information is quite relevant for my decision whether to use or not to use Table Optimizer. At the moment I am very pleased about TO, by the way.

I haven't fixed it yet but I think I found a way to make it work correctly.

For now you can choose between: open tables, seated tables, tables with timebank, tables requiring action, stack in bb, tournament m, table name, close and tile button. Table name for tournaments will show you for example: "0.02$ no limit holdem".

Yes, problems are caused by update. Fixing it shouldn't take longer than 24 hours. You can always downgrade your pokerstars client by copying files from backup folder, and starting pokerstars by clicking pokerstars.exe file(do not use shortcut on desktop).
Is something besides preset bets not working correctly?

TO just crashes after a couple of minutes. When I restart TO, it crashes again after a while.

Concerning the downgrade, could you be a little bit more detailed about which files (or map) I have to copy to what map? Thanks in advance.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\PokerStars.EU\backup.
2. Copy all files from that folder to C:\Program Files\PokerStars.EU.
3. Start pokerstars using PokerStars.exe from C:\Program Files\PokerStars.EU (remember to run as admin).

Hi there,

I'm trying to trial the software, I get this error

It doesn't appear to be recognising when I sit down at a table.

Thanks

Did you move to.exe from the main directory? You can't do that.

ah ok, so I need to open it from the folder everytime? got it working now anyway. think this has been mentioned before, but the ability to set mouse buttons at hotkeys would be a huge improvement, that's the only thing I need to keep tableninja open for now

will play my first full session with it later and report back

You can make a shortcut to to.exe and move it to desktop.
Pokerstars allows you to set mouse buttons as hotkeys. To use them with TO hotkeys you need special software which will map mouse button to keyboard button and set this keyboard button as a hotkey.

I've just played my first session with it, it's clear that the program could be fantastic but I had lots of issues trying to set it up properly.

I've noticed 3 main issues so far (all of these may be my fault, idk) and 1 feature request

1. The first and biggest problem was that tables requiring action weren't being sorted to the top of my stack (using the 'postflop' smart stacking option). I had to use stars hotkeys to hotkey for the first table requiring action. I think this is likely to be due to a conflict somewhere - I was running HM2, Pokerstars, Skype, TO, Tablescan Turbo, xpadder, an ahk table counter, a seating script and Stars Helper during the session. Would there be any way these programs were interfering with TO recognising which tables needed action?

2. I play midstakes cash on pokerstars and I use a seating script as mentioned. I therefore have all my observed tables on one screen and my active/playing tables on another. When I got a seat I had no easy way of adding that table to the stack. I didn't want to use the 'move to stack after taking seat' option in case of false positives from my script (this happens all the time and would be difficult to notice). The hotkey for 'move to stack/slot' only worked for moving tables between the stack and slots, it didn't want to work for tables not yet in either. The 'stack' hotkey did seem to work if I dragged the new table onto the playing screen and tiled my tables, but it stacked the observed tables as well. This meant I had to manually drag the table (which meant I couldn't remove the title bar), click to tile tables, hotkey to stack them all then hotkey to seperate observed tables... all just to add one table. I'm sure there's a better way I could set this up?

3. sitout next BB all was only sitting me out on 1 table.

-------------

A very useful feature for cash players is changing $ amounts to BB. StarsHelper does this and it's the main reason I use it. If you could add this I'd be very grateful.

For now the above issues are too big for me to persevere with the program, but it clearly has potential. It was using <10% of the resources TN1 was using and the smart stacking feature would be unbelievably useful if I could get it working properly.

One last question - if I understand correctly, the smart stacking postflop option should allow you to blast through 10 easy preflop decisions all while looking at one hard postflop decision, right? Because of the issues above I couldn't really get enough tables to see whether it was meant to work like this.

Cheers

TO is not poping tables requiring action for you. If you want to play in stack you need to set "popup table whenever user action is required" in pokerstars advanced multi-tabling options.

- you can move tables without titlebar by dragging hud. There also hotkeys to move tables between screens.
- what "stack" hotkey does can be defined as: take all tables that are not in stack/slot mode from current monitor, assign them to stack/slot mode and move to stack. So if you use it on new table moved to your playing monitor it should go to stack without moving tables from other monitor. You don't have to use tile hotkey for that. This is how it should work, it's possible that some third party software is causing it to work wrong.

Currently I don't have plans of adding this since it's really not that simple as it may look.

Yes, you make all preflop decision in stack and when your reach flop table is automatically moved to first free slot.

If you want you can pm me your skype so I can contact you directly and help solve the problems.
