i'm from the U.S, so i don't have access to ipoker to see how difficult it would be. i will think about what exactly i need from each site for inclusion into the program. it seems plausible that ANY site could potentially be added.

if I can help you in any way just say it!

ipokers software does support stacking "naturally",
the topmost table always waits until action is input
and then the table with the "oldest action request" pops up.

only problem is stars and ipoker dont respect each others action queues.

in fact Im totally ok with just having one big stack and pulling out
tables "manually" (ahk) if I need to.

ok, so currently, if you have one big stack with stars and ipoker, then it will work with each site auto popping up its own tables. and the only problem occurs when stars pops up, and then ipoker pops up in front of it?

if so, that seems like the same problem that occured with fulltilt and stars. i believe i have solved it somewhat with stars and fulltilt, if you want to test, by turning off both auto pop ups options. once i get more feedback on how it works, then we might be able to move it forward to other sites

yes, exactly this.

unfortunately I have no money at tilt, dont even know my account details..

if you ever need a tester for ipoker/stars together or any specific info about the ipoker client I will be glad to help.

question for everyone

what do you think of removing the "Fold" part of the hotkey? that is, the hotkey would only do the "Re-stack" part. so, if you wanted to still have your Fold function, you would setup tableninja or other script to handle the Fold, and use the same key in StackAndTile to re-stack. if you are a user who clicks fold, then youll have to press the hotkey as well

I dont use any other script then this one. The fold & restack it's perfect for me.

no, but I have seen other 3rd party software do it,
of course they didnt have their own action queue system,
so the tables just stop popping up at all.

Nice progress on S&T tool, it's looking good

FWIW, 1 vote against this idea UNLESS you added a separate / 2nd Fold+Stack hotkey option

Personally, my goal / preference is to use one app only to fold & manage tables without the help of TableNinja

greg, first off, Merry Christmas! I hope you had a good holiday!

As for 1.15, it works well, save for one thing. As I have it set up, there is one issue.

I have it set up for 8 slots on 2- 24" monitors (I posted my ini earlier and you helped me out w/ that). The stack is in slot #1, Tile preflop, and I have my F&S hotkey as F3.

Now, my issue is that when a new table is opened (say when you click "Yes" from a waitlist to take the available seat), the new table automatically opens up in, what seems to me, a random slot. Sometimes it will open up on top of the stack, sometimes in slot 2, 3 or 7, regardless if there is a table there already or not. Shouldn't it open in the first available open slot?

If this is as intended, well, nevermind then But, if so, it makes it very tough to determine if you want the seat since, if that slot is occupied by a table already, then it's covered up, if that makes sense.

Hope that helps!

hrmm. try to fix something and something else breaks? i removed the auto stacking feature, which put new tables like this automatically into the stack, without giving you time to see the table and pick a good seat, etc.

with that gone, i thought that tables would just open up randomly, that is, wherever stars would normally put it. for me, that was typically overlapping a few slots. it shouldnt get moved directly into a defined slot, unless of course the action is on you (action, or Post BB button, etc). and when it does move into a slot because of action needed, it *should* move into an empty one.

i'll try to look into this some more. if you realize anything else let me konw

thanks. my mind is trying to work out if StackAndTile should be solely the "table management" and other programs should be the Fold,call, raise etcing

Well I'll offer the same take I had in the TOI thread- Fold is IMO part of the table management function. The idea (for me anyway) of these slick uitilities is to quickly get non-action tables "off your radar". Being able to hit one key to Fold & Dispose/Stack a table is part of that core function I think.

As for adding bet / raise / etc. HotKeys, I can see good arguments for having them in or out. I like the notion of very simple ones added in (e.g., perhaps just Check / Call / bet pot or All in) to allow one-app basic play with the really sophisticated stuff left to other apps like Table Ninja if people want more tailored options.

sorry i never got to this. just because the setup detects 2 slots, doesnt mean youre stuck with it. you can add as many as you want, by editing the .ini file. make these changes:

total_slots=4
slot1x=0
slot1y=0
slot2x=640
slot2y=0
slot3x=0
slot3y=400
slot4x=640
slot4y=400

then you'll have four slots set up evenly. now fixing the table overlap is up to you, youll have to resize your tables as you see fit.

This software is amazing. It took me ~10 mins of reading, 5 mins of setup, and about 10 mins to steadily increase the max tables I play from 8-16. 25 minutes of work and I am doubling my volume. You are amazing Greg, I highly recommend this program to anyone thinking about trying it.
