Why don't my hotkeys carry over on a new layout?

each layout has its own hotkeys... you can copy them over if you want, by simply clicking File->Current Layout, scrolling down to the bottom and copying everything from the [hotkeys] line to the bottom of the file, and then pasting it back over in the new layout file.. then save the file, and completely close out and reopen SAT

perhaps when creating a new layout, i should ask the user if they want to copy their hotkeys from an older layout file

Chico did an update a few days ago and since then, the bet pot % hotkeys aren't working. If I press one of my keys, a single BB will be bet and when I press another of my keys, nothing at all happens.

For hotkeys, I have increase bet wheel up and decrease bet wheel down. I'm trying to get it to cycle in increments of a sb instead of bb. I've tried both of these things then saved the file and stopped S and T then rebooted but I still get cycles of exactly one bb instead of sb -

decrease_bet_increment=0.5

i just updated and tested the "bet pot %" hotkeys and they still worked for me..
perhaps you dont have the pot button configured correctly? for Chico, you need to configure the 6th betsize preset button to be 100% full pot:

if that's already correct, can you click File->Current Layout, and paste me everything?


by default, if a poker site has the +/- buttons on the table, then SAT will simply click those buttons for the Increase/DecreaseBet hotkeys. chico does have them, and so the SAT hotkeys will click those buttons and whatever the pokersite does for that, will be what gets incremented. there is a client setting checkbox inside Chico that you can change where those buttons will increment by SB instead of BB, so thats the easiest change i recommend if that's your goal. its under "Bet Slider" options inside the chico client

if you want to override SAT to not click those +/- buttons, and instead copy the betsize from the betbox, and do the increment math, then you also need to add this line to your config. i added these lines, and tested on 5/10 play money, and the hotkeys incremented by 1 which is correct for 5/10:

Thanks, I got everything squared away. My hud stats were set on solid and were blocking some of the buttons.

New update for ACR. S&T was glitching till I turned off new setting in ACR 'Maintain table aspect ratio'

They changed the size of the FOLD CALL RAISE boxes so hotkeys probably not working

hot keys still messed up for me at ACR

My tables don't seem to popup (to the front) anymore if they are stacked underneath

Also hitting fold when check button is visible doesn't work anymore either

you shouldn't ignore that error... you should follow the instructions exactly as mentioned in the screenshot



I'm about to go to bed, but I just tested it.. re-included WPN, set Move to grid = never, put one table in the stack, then put another observing table in the stack. When it was my turn, the active table popped to the top above the observing table. And the Fold hotkey worked to Check for free.

Are you sure SAT is detecting action is required when its your turn to act? What does Help->Show Testing Info show? That would be the first thing to check. Did you re-Include the site?

What should I do if the Fold+stack table hotkey is messing with me? What happens is the table goes back to the main stack but pops back in a grid as I should act but I already folded the card so I ended up pressing the button second sometimes third time. The funny thing is it worked fine yesterday but there's been an update on party and it started doing this.

typically this just means the poker site hasn't made their action buttons disappear fast enough.. so what happens is SAT clicks fold, moves the table back to the stack, but then if the Fold button hasn't disappeared yet, then SAT still sees the Fold button as visible and moves the table back into the grid

what you can try to do is increase the delay that SAT waits before moving the table back to the stack.. click File->Current Layout, and scroll down to find the PartyPokerModern settings somewhere in the middle of the file. then add this new line alongside the rest of them:

save the file, then click Save on the Layout tab, and then test it and see if it works any better, and let me know

Just got trial and started using today. When I opened discord it detected it as a table then I got a pop up saying it had some failed attempts and would be ignored. Is there a way to prevent this?

Can you use the menu item for Help->Show Testing Info, and then mouseover discord and tell me what Site the discord window is detected as?

And then use Help->Diagnostic->Get Window Title, and paste me the result for the discord window?

does this happen on all sites? or just one specific site?

I couldn't test with other sites but I will look into it later

Any way to change where the mouse pointer sits by default? In my particular setup it likes to sit right over the player next to me on the right stack.

what setup? are you using the Advanced Option to "Move mouse to table when action required"? That's pretty much the only time when SAT should move your mouse pointer. If thats the setting you're talking about, then yes you can change where SAT moves the mouse, see this page:
