i think a wpn update is causing SaT to not work again. I had to go back to a temp WPN config file.

What doesn't work? And what skin? Tables are detected on both TruePoker and ACR for me..

i am on BCP. today, neither of my 2 configs work, no tables are detected and the hotkeys do not work

hey there, I downloaded stackandtile and when I opened it I am told to set up a grid by pressing f7 and it will recognize the dimensions of the windows. I tried with both FTP and PS and it isn't recognizing the dimensions. What should I do?

Are you sure you're running SaT as administrator?

Also, maybe your keyboard has an F-lock button which disables/enables the F keys (similar to caps lock or num lock)? Try toggling that button

Running as administrator and have tried toggling the Fn button in case it was that. Still not working.

The Fn button is usually on laptops for some special functions. The F-lock key is something different, which only some keyboards have:

If the F-lock was off, then none of your F1-F12 keys would work at all. For example, within a web browser, pressing F3 usually brings up the "Find" bar so that you can search for text within a webpage. Does that work?

And are you right clicking the SaT icon and selecting "Run as Administrator"?

Lol. Why don't you tell me what error message you are getting? How do you expect me to help you when you don't tell me anything?

Usually this is a Windows error. Maybe you already have SaT open and are trying to overwrite it.. maybe your antivirus or firewall is blocking it..

Some tables will popup for a millisecond then disappear again.

pop up where and when? what do you expect should happen and what actually does happen? what settings are you using? aka need more info

I have five slots. One slot is my stack and then four in the grid.

An action will be required in the stack but that table will only pop up for me to act for only a split second and then will disappear to the bottom of the stack.

If I manually search for it in the desktop dock through Stars it still won't let me bring the table up. I have to minimise every table in the stack before I can act.

ok.. so i guess you're not moving the tables into the grid when action is required. what is your 'Move To Grid' setting?

It was weirdly just one table (a 5r 2x turbo on stars). It would require action and that split second problem would occur.

My 'Move to Grid' setting was "After entering pot".

I'm having problems on WPN again. I know they updated this morning to get rid of the Beast jackpot tables. Neither of my two WPN setup files work - even after rebooting. Can you confirm? (Neither table layout or hotkeys are responsive)

Had to create new site definition... seem to work- kind of.

Two problems I am having:
1) what is the appropriate text to assign to WPN's active table? The AA buttons use "fold" and "call" so it keeps picking up ANY table I get hole cards on as an urgent table (even when I am pending action on another table). I am reluctant to use "raise" because on the flop, it is replaced by "bet" when I have the initiative.
2) The increment bet by 1 SB does not seem to be working - it only increments by 1 BB.

I can't confirm personally, no. The built in 'WinningPoker' site in SaT still works for both ACR and TruePoker. Both skins did provide updates, but both updates look identical for those two skins, and SaT still detects the tables, and there should only be a minor change that I need to make. Did you try the built-in 'WinningPoker' site yet? What skin are you on? Another user said that their skin was broken too. Obviously if the built in WinningPoker site didn't work in the past, and you had to create a custom site, then you will probably need to do that again (or any time they put out an update that breaks it). Actually, most likely you don't need to create a whole new custom site. Usually the only update that breaks is the "table_class" parameter. So what you could do is just copy that when the wizard provides it, then quit the wizard, and update your custom site .ini file directly, save the file, restart SaT.

Tables that require action aren't determined by any text. They are determined by the visibility of the Fold button. The problem you are describing is because on most WinningPoker skins, the fold pre-action checkboxes are the same color and in the same location as the real Fold button. So SaT thinks that the Fold button is visible and pops up the table. See this page for full information:

The built in 'WinningPoker' site uses a very specific coordinate and some other hacks to get around this problem, which mostly works. That is why I always recommend everyone to use the built in site settings when possible. It seems that some skins on this network are doing their own thing and straying from keeping the software the same across all skins, which sucks.

Ah, if you are using a custom site, then you would'nt have included the special setting that SaT needs to read the betbox. So likely all that is happening is that its sending WheelUp/WheelDown clicks, instead of doing the math. Again, the built in 'WinningPoker' site shouldn't have this problem. I'm not really sure what to do.. Obviously I can just give you the settings from the built in site, but they may be different for your skin, just like your skin's "table_class" setting is different. So the betbox setting will probably be different too. The best and easiest solution is just to play on one of the larger skins. Next would be convince your skin to use the same software as the major skins. Finally, I obviously can provide you all the settings that you would need, and you would need to learn how to use some tools so that you can manually update those settings each time your skin puts out an update and breaks things.

Can you paste your custom site file that mostly works?

where can I access the info in the WinningPoker site definition? If that works, I wanted to modify the file. can you send it to me as a text file, so I can save it as a custom site and make any necessary changes? I am on BCP fwiw (so not one of the smaller skins).

also, can I get around the AA confusion by setting the click area to be a part of the "fold", "call" "raise" box that is NOT share with the AA boxes?

You can't access it. I would need to provide you the settings.

I just downloaded Black Chip Poker, and the built in 'WinningPoker' site in SaT worked fine. Why aren't you using that?

This is one of the things that the built in settings tries to do.

set up the built in WinningPoker site in SaT and had two problems:
1) I timed out 5 times in 30 minutes on a table because SaT was not bringing up EVERY action table to the top. It worked most of the time, but it skipped a few tables that required action. I was playing fewer than normal tables to test, and there were definitely times when the table "sounded" as if action was required, but no table popped up.
2) the scroll wheel does not increase/decrease the bet size.

Likely both of these problems are due to the new update that Winning released recently. Along with changing the "table_class" parameter, they also changed the betbox parameter which SaT uses for both of your items 1 and 2. The timeouts for #1 should only have happened when facing an allin. I hope to release an update tomorrow. When I do, please test and see if these problems are fixed.
