What didn't work? What were you expecting to happen and what happened instead? In as much detail as possible

I forgot to cancel my subscription, I'm taking an extended hiatus from poker. Can I get a refund for March ($8.95-small stakes)? Will be a customer again in the future!

yes:

Is your chatbox fullsize or hidden? See this image and issue #1 below. Most problems are due to the chatbox not being fullsize.
...
1. There are two iPoker site profiles within SaT. They differ only depending on the size of the chatbox that you use. You should use the "iPoker" site within SaT if you have a fullsize chatbox. In version 2.50, SaT now has a new site profile named "iPoker_noChat". Use this site if you prefer to keep your chatbox closed. There is no support for a half sized chatbox.

Re: StackAndTile

I am using SAT with FullFlush poker. I made a custom profile for it because its network isn't natively supported. I only use it to stack tables on software that doesn't stack well on its own (I don't use the 'and tile' functionality).

The stacking/resizing works fine but the popping to front doesn't work well. I had the same issue with bovada but turning off 'bring active table to front' fixed it. This client doesn't have that option. So when I am making a decision another table can pop to the front of the stack sometimes right as I'm clicking call/bet/fold.

Any suggestions?

Re: StackAndTile

If the site doesn't have the option to turn off "bring tables to top" then you are going to run into focus stealing issues, there is no other way around it.
http://www.stackandtile.com/sat/help/focus-stealing

The only way you _may_ have an acceptable experience is if you play solely on FullFlush and no other sites, then you can try to turn off SaT's option (the first checkbox in Advanced Options) and just rely on FullFlush's built in functionality

What network is FullFlush on?

Re: StackAndTile

It's on Equity.

The way I use SAT is that I use it to stack 2 of the sites that don't stack well on their own, but I run two different instances of SAT, one for each site. Each site/stack occupies its own spot on my monitor. So basically I tile 6 tables, but each of the tiles is a stack from a different site. I will try it with that option turned off.

Re: StackAndTile

Hrmmm, interesting setup. In that case, it may actually work if you turn off SaT's option for that particular instance. Then you would be relying on FullFlush to pop up its tables at the correct time and not steal focus from its other tables.

is there a way to get this type of stacking functionality for multiple game types on the same site? if they can have their own grid i'll be buying asap

and is it possible to have large stack tables but small grid tables?

I'm not fully sure what you're asking. SaT only allows one stack. The user above is running two copies of SaT at the same time to create multiple stacks for each site. I suppose it MAY be possible to do this for multiple game types on the same site. But you'd need to create custom site profiles for each game type, particularly specifying a correct "table_include_title_text" and "table_exclude_title_test" settings to make sure you only account for your particular game type. I have never tested this so I'm not sure

Unfortunately all slots must be the same size for now. I may change this in the future but no guarantees

No. You'd need to use Windows via Bootcamp/Parallels/VMWare/etc and play poker within Windows

yeah i'd like separate stacks (and grids too, if possible) for hypers, 18m, 9m, mtts etc. i will have more time to look into this next week and will try out multiple profiles. thanks.

This may take a decent amount of work, it may be doable.. you'd need to run a new instance of SaT for each stack/grid combo that you want. And then you'd need to create a custom site for each instance, making sure that you are including/excluding the appropriate tables for each gametype. You'll probably need help with that. Also, you probably don't want gridslots overlapping to much between different instances of SaT.

I don't know if I'm overlooking anything that may prevent this from working. I know people have used multiple instances in the past, but usually it is for a similar reason as the user above, where they will use different sites within each instance so they can have separate stack/grid combos. But you are wanting to use the same site across multiple instances, so I'm not sure about the results.. curious though.. I like seeing people being creative and pushing the limits of SaT, I think overall its decently powerful and customizable

I'm curious what table size you are using... Wonder if its similar to the size posted in that thread.

Basically, if a table is immediately popping into grid, its because SaT thinks the fold button is visible. SaT grabs the color of the fold button during include site setup, and looks for that same color, allowing for some slight variation for mouse hovers which change the shade. Nova gray uses gray buttons, and that gray might be close enough to the black background that SaT sees the black background and it falls within the variation. Whereas Nova uses red buttons, and the black background is a distinctly different color that isn't close, and isn't falsely detected.

However, as I said in the thread, I tested that config and it worked for me, so I'm not sure if thats truly the issue or not.

Re: StackAndTile

I keep having to remake a custom ini for the WPN site I play on. The standard WPN profile always says the table doesn't match. So I made a custom one which seems to work for a time and then at some point I start getting the same error.

I'm using v2.56

The custom profile also seems to handle 'pop to front' badly (with and without the client option for 'auto switch between tables' turn on).

When the standard WPN profile worked, it handled pop to front fine.

What skin do you play on? Perhaps your skin is doing something different from the major skins. I believe I had a report that Super Stack Poker skin had some weird stuff that wasn't working with the built in settings. I just tested both ACR and TruePoker yesterday and they worked.

Basically, each time the site issues an update, there is potential for both the built in WinningPoker settings as well as your custom site settings to break. Thats why you are needing to redo it.

Yea obviously, because it would depend upon you having a precise fold button coordinate that doesn't get triggered when the fold pre-action checkbox becomes visible, and also you are probably missing a setting for the betbox which SaT can sometimes use to determien if action is required. Thats why I always recommend everyone use the built in settings unless there is a specific reason not to. Such as a particular skin not obeying the normal network's parameters and therefore not detecting tables

This is the error I get when using the standard profile. I've tried several different stakes, CAP and regular tables.

Sorry to keep spamming your thread, but after a reinstall it appears to be working again. However, its worked temporarily before so I think there is a decent chance it will mess up again. Hopefully not tho

No worries about spam... its strange because ACR should work with the built-in settings using the 'WinningPoker' site. Reinstall shouldn't have changed anything. Anyway keep an eye on it
