Hi there.. I've just decided to finally get into using AHK for some non poker related things, and so I thought maybe it's time I investigated some of it's more poker-related uses. This was the first script I see that catches my eye. However, I tend to slum around on some of the less populated sites. Any idea how much is involved in adding more sites to it? I don't currently have the remotest understanding of the AHK language, it seems utterly foreign to every other scripting language I've ever seen.. but that rarely stops me

Hi Greg,

I posted this in quick questions but nobody helped (yet )

I want tourneys on Stars to open in the smallest table size possible in the corner of my monitor (Stars custom layouts can handle this part) and then jump into my main stack, fully-sized, once my first action comes up, and stay there. Can you help me do this? Thanks.

I downloaded this but but was having a bunch of problems with it. Before I attempt to fix them, I just want to make sure this does what I want it to do.

I don't stack tables -- I tile them across two 30 in. monitors. I play 16 at once, and use table ninja/turbo table scan to join waitlists etc.

When one of the tables becomes available, it pops up, but it may pop up anywhere on my screen - and it may be over another table or something like that. Ideally, what I'd like would be for tables to open in specified slots on the screen so that there is no interference.

In addition, I would like to have a specific slot on my screen where 2+2 or another website would go, and another slot where the table-scan would go.

Is this what this program does? If so, I'll gladly donate

kinda

if you have the smallest size opening correctly, then use StackAndTile and setup the grid to use fully-sized tables, and use the "never" move setting. (you can still manually choose if you want to move the table with the Manual Move hotkey)

hrmm actually, i dont think that will do exactly what you want..

you might be able to configure StackAndTile to do this, but probably easier to look into PlaceMint

The reason it won't work is because the small tables will immediately be resized into large tables by stackandtile as soon as they open, correct? You can't have different sized tables. Is there any way around this? Is there any part of the script I can use to get rid of the stack function? I only want a grid that won't resize the table immediately when the tourney starts, but when an action comes up. I don't need the stack function at all.

FYI- Dave is helping me out on this so unless you see an easy fix, I don't want you to double up on his work. Thanks again.

if you never press the "Fold and Stack" hotkey, it will never stack. but it will resize it though. and then when action, move it to the next open grid position. dave is the man, i'm sure he can help you

Greg,

Just tried out the new version. 16 tabled a session for 2 hours and didn't experience one non-responsive moment. Also, overall it appeared to be working much smoother. Excellent job!

This software doesn't seem to be working for me. I opened a table on stars as an observer. Then clicked F10 as per the instructions. Then i hit the start button and opened a few other tables. The program is having no effect. I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

PS
I am playing at stars.

i would think it should work with windows7, i dont see why not. did you run 'Setup Grid' first?

grumpy, you only have one slot set up, so nothing happens because there is no slots for the urgent tables to move to. two solutions, 1. add slots by clicking the + sign next to Total Slots, or 2. run Setup Grid and use a smaller table size

the .ini is generated by the program once you run Setup Grid and put in the same directory as the script
