Just a question about the quiz

I've done several hands on quiz and there's some spots i'd rather fold or push and quiz tells me wrong.

I know the wiz is ICM based, but what the quiz accuracy on answers regarding bubble spots and other that fold is most likely best option ?

Can you rephrase your question? I honestly have no idea what you are asking.

If I understand the theory correctly there may be an error in the program or I need to understand it better.

You can see this question in the following game: Fulltilt 155174790 Game 20209383526($5 + 0.50) 4/19/10 8:51 PM. I am potpuppy. I don't know how to get the hand history into this email.

The effective stacks do not change if we reverse small blind and big blind stacks. However, in this game the recommendation of push or fold changes when the stacks are switched. What makes the difference?

It is difficult to answer without the hand history, but my guess is the difference is because when the small blind folds he loses 0.5 big blinds and when the big blind folds he loses 1 big blind.

I've just tried to look at a hand from the Stars Sunday 2nd chance but when I try to input the hand details (opponents stacks sizes) I notice that the blind structure is incorrect when MTT is selected. For example, the Sunday 2nd chance has blind level 125/250 with a 25 ante but this isn't included in SNG Wizard. I don't play on Stars but apparently the blind structure is the same for most large field MTT's and this isn't represented in Wizard.

Does this mean that I'll have to create a unique tournament structure in Wizard?

Hey,

I just bought sng wizard and i want to change the handranges. Is there a way to change a default calling range in different blind levels instead of changing each time on each hand on each opponent to see wheither its a push or fold?

How come only some of the hands have the checkmark/X icons next to it?

Exactly which tournament structure are you referring to? There is not a general MTT structure.

You can select a different default opponent model in the program options.

Only "qualified" hands have status icons. Qualified hands are those where your effective stack is 10 big blinds or less.

In the program options, set Equity Mode to either Auto or ICM.

Is there a way to save a custom game and/or changes made to the calling ranges in a reviewed hand? I just created a few custom games that I want to refer to later, including adjusting all the opponent actions when hero folds, and just realized that there is apparently no way to save them.

I just started using the trial version and am wondering what features are missing. I can't find the "open tournament folder" part, which I saw in the introduction video. The home page says that all the features are available in the trial, but I can't find out how to mass import hand histories.

There is no reset command, but all non-default values are in a bold font. Just set those to the widest range possible.

Not at this time.

No features are missing from the trial versions. However, if you are using the Holdem Manger integrated version the tournaments view is replaced by the HM hands view. See the video on this page for a demonstration.

I have a few quick questions.

1. For 90 man SNG's on Full Tilt when on the bubble (10 or 11 players left) what would be the best way to use the SNG Wizard for these type of bubble situations? I usually just use the 90 man structure and use the EqP%, but I know this isn't really optimal because the Wizard will be assuming we're already at the final table, but I know using the chip equity mode isn't correct either given the bubble situation we're in.

2. For big field MTT's would it be ok to just always use the chip equity mode even once in the money or on final table bubbles due to the payouts being pretty much flat until the top spots etc.? Would just using chip equity mode be sufficient until we reach the final table? And when we reach the final table, what structure would we use for the EqP% calculations? Would using the 90 man or 180 man ones that are built into the SNG Wizard be sufficient or would I have to create a custom structures for all these spots?

1. In this situation chip equity mode is not great, but it's the best we can do.

2. Using chip equity mode at the final table is a bad idea because that would be the same as a winner take all tournament. Use the 180 man structure is probably OK, but the actual payouts would be better.
