Motivate me to buy Pokertracker on a tight bankroll Motivate me to buy Pokertracker on a tight bankroll

I have been playing poker for about 20 years on and off, at Micro and Low levels, currently mostly MTTs, with good success (I am winning in net profits albeit never moved up stakes). Since this month where I found the opportunity to do this, I decided to take my play to the next level, including learn better poker theory.

Aside of learning the new theory, I think I also need to be using Pokertracker in specific. I am looking to buy it currently for 2 of its capabilities: replaying my tournaments, and keeping track of my profit and loss scorecard.

The bankroll I allowed myself for poker until today has always been... $50, since I would always cash out all my winnings. Within the last few days I managed to win another $57, so my bankroll is now just over $100. I am considering withdrawing $64.99 to buy the Micro/Low stakes version of Pokertracker.

On the other hand, I am thinking to instead keep that money in my account so as to take shots at higher stakes tours than I normally play ie $3.30, $4.40 and $5 tours. In that case, regarding having a tool for performing replays and keeping track of profit & loss, I could still try to use Hand2Note which is free. However, I already installed it and it got a bug where it was displaying my nickname twice as 2 different users. Also, I am not sure whether it includes are player.

More reason why I should not buy it now are that last month I won around $2000 by coming first in a tour, and I have had some great results this month such as the $50 which I won in the last 2 days. So, it is possible I may win the money I need even within this month.

Overall, I find that investing on PokerTracker is much better option.

What do you think I should do?

Buy it only if you want to buy it, like when you really want it.
It will be something new, like a new pair of shoes. But if you don't want to deal with a new computerprogram as of yet, you should wait.
In my opinion pokertracker is worth much more then what it is sold for.

PT4 is a grea great tool. It will give you amazing info during the MTTs and it will save you thousands of dollar in the long run. Just being able to see at a glance who are the NITs and LAGs at your table will make more money for you. Youtube has a lot of videos of how to customize your HUD to display the best info you need.
