What causes software to stop working in middle of session? Happens rarely, but it does for me and for few others who I know using this software. It's not AFK related.

Timer just stops out of nowhere and we need to restart session to keep tables opening.

In almost all reports I've gotten similar to this, it was because the user didn't notice that the Session Minutes had passed before the games.

When this happens, does the Pause Button disappear? If so, it's because the session is over.

It surely isn't games limitation as it's set to 999. I don't remember about "pause button". Next time it happens I'll give it a closer look and send error.txt if I remember.

Once I forgot to close software after it happened and it started opening tables after few minutes delay. Luckily I was still near computer that time.

I have a feeling that this could be an issue with connectivity to PokerStars. That we register the game - but when we try to confirm the buy-in, the connection to PokerStars is dropped and PS never actually registers the game. SiQreg waits for some time after it clicks register for a new game to open up, so it could hang in this instance.
I'll get to work immediately on an improvement to handle this situation better. Hopefully that is what the issue is.

It looks like what I assumed about the PokerStars network connection failing may be the issue.

I am working right now to handle this better so you don't have to stop/restart SiQreg every time this happens. Hopefully will have that out in the next few days.

Have you seen this option? You could set this option to be Since you should be heads-up more frequently when the blinds are higher; this setting will make it less likely that you are starting a new game (10/20) when you are on another game that is (40/80). But this lets you play more games/hour because you will still get to add new games when the other table is still 3-handed (and more commonly this will be when you are closer to 10/20).

This version does not have the 'max active regs' feature, which I should be able to get up this week. But it does have all the other features I mentioned from v1.3.3.4 above.

For the Max Regs, can explain it? All I see is max regs and a number. Say if I am wanting to play 4 tables, with at most 3 regs, would i put 3 in this box? But then what if i only end up with 2 games running because high MULTI and there are 3 regs on these 2 tables, it will know not to reg me for new game? TY!

Yes, exactly. If you set '3' in that box, then no matter what else is happening if you are sat against 3 tagged regs then the session will not register a new game until one of those regs is gone.
Keep in mind that SiQreg checks to see who is a reg once when the game first starts, and once when you get HU. So if you tag a reg after a game starts then SiQreg won't know that person is a reg in that game until you get HU with them. I'll be working to improve this soon.

Any of the filters ('keep open', 'if hu on [ ] keep open [ ]', 'max multipliers', and now 'vs regs') act on whichever is lowest. So if you hit your 'max multipliers value' then the session will stop registering. If your running multipliers value goes below the 'max multiplier value' then SiQreg will see if any other filters are exceeded (like if you're playing vs too many regs, or HU on too many tables, etc) and if any of them are exceeded then SiQreg still wont register until all of the filters are below their max.
