Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Hi.

Trying to understand how rake is being factored in solutions.

If I set rake to 5.5% and the Cap to 3, I get the sum of Nash EVs that seems to be way below the actual potsize:

IMG

The sum there amounts to 3.859, whereas with no rake set it would have ended up being close to 4.5. If the rake were indeed 5.5% the Sum of both players' nash EVs should have been much higher, no?

This question was discussed in the skype. The idea that the EV is shown taking in count paid rake for the whole strategy of the solved equlibrium.

The skype support is neither friendly nor supportive. I want to buy a product but no one cares to give me an answer. Millionaires must act like this, I guess.

Hello!

Our skype support response everyday to all messages, sometimes it takes more time cause there are some other tasks or he is not fully available.

If he doesn't response the reason could be that skype just lost your message, it has a lot of bugs.

You shouldn't care about our money, poker tools is not our only business.

I don't care about your money but my guess was right: Millionaires.

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Can you add a feature setting the minimum betsize to 1 bb? As a HU hyper player it's quite difficult -- I want turn donks for OOP, but while a decent size (1.5bb into 4) donk works on turns in mr/c or in limped pots with cb, in limped pots with flop x/x that size winds up going to 0.8bb.

Obviously there's the rounding feature, but that winds up rounding other numbers elsewhere in the trees that I don't want rounded. Any assistance appreciated.

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

After the long testing period we are glad to present stable SPF version - 1.10

From now and forever Simple Postflop Standalone price is reduced to just 299$!
This is making SPF not only the most powerfull GTO Solver, but also very affordable! It still has 2 activations, fully functional Preflop and Postflop calculations. Enjoy.

1) Application now is scalable and you can adjust it size to: x1.0, x1.3, x1.5, x2.0. This option is very useful for 4K display owners.

2) It is possible to set your own names to Players. For renaming you need to click on current player name and set custom name:

3) Preflop could be calculated with checkdown on a Postflop. This calculation option ignore any actions on a Postflop (Flop, Turn and River actions are Check -> Check). This allows to simplify local calculations.

4) Combo clustering is fixed and re-implemented. Three draw combinations are added:

5) EV of Best Response strategy (exploiting strategy) is displayed now. However it is not possible to view strategy itself.

6) Diagram of distribution strategy by Equity is added:

The histogram contains all hands ordered ascending by Equity. Each vertical bar shows strategy distribution for a hand. Selecting cell in the matrix will highlight bars that represent given hand.

7) Equity view is available in 3 modes:
+ Eq vs Range - shows equity against current opponent’s range
+ Eq vs Call Range - in case of Bet action shows equity against calling range
+ Fold Equity - in case of Bet action shows probability of opponent’s Fold action

8) Now software supports Chinese language. We are able to rapidly add new translations. To become our partner in your country/region please contact our support team.

9) All issues are fixed, minor modifications are implemented

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

isunkurbttlship, I hope it is not very disappointing and you gain advantage using our software during 3 months

eat.sleep.poker, and this is really disappointing. Anyway our goal is popularization of GTO, making it available for players. We are glad to see new users. So, we can make a discount for Simple GTO Trainer for you. It is a very useful addition to SPF! (contact me in private if you are interested)

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Hi,

I've made a preflop HU simulation in order to match my game rake and sizes, but the results I've got are way too strange and different from either common sense and "public" sims (like the one I'm going to post below) and I can't understand the reason why.

SP sim: eff. stack 100, sb 0.5, bb 1, start pot 0. subset 184 flop.
- rake% 5, cap 0.25
- size preflop: 3, 10, 24, 100
- postflop p1 bet: flop none, turn 50%-200%, river 75%-200%
p1 raise: flop 1/2 pot, turn 1/2 pot, river 50%-200%
- postflop p2 bet: flop 30%, turn 75%-120%, river 75-200%
p2 raise: flop 1/2 pot, turn 1/2 pot, river 50%-200%

My sim: eff. stack 100, sb 0.5, bb 1, start pot 0. subset 74 flop.
- rake% 5.5, cap 0.1
- size preflop: 2.5, 10, 24, 100
- postflop p1 bet: flop none, turn pot, river 75%-150%
p1 raise: flop 2/3 pot, turn 2/3 pot, river 3/4 pot
- postflop p2 bet: flop 30%-75%, turn 75%, river 75-150%
p2 raise: flop 1/2 pot, turn 2/3 pot, river 3/4 pot

It strikes me as wrong that in my simulation SB would raises only 69%, whether in the SP simulation it raises 77% for 3bb with higher rake (facing 3bets 25% of the time instead of my 27+); but the very odd thing is that in my simulation BB folds vs 4bet a miserable 9% of the time instead of the 32% fold of the 3-10-24-100 SP sim, with similar 4b% ranges where my sim even picks stronger hands to 4bet as a bluff on average.

Where could such differences come from? is it the very arbitrary choice of postflop sizes? and why would that be the case with these sizes in particular? - or is it because of a bias subset of flops? All of this seems very unlikely to me.

Thanks in advance to anyone who wants to discuss it.
