Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Hi, I do not understand too well what they mean badges "X & Done". Am you can shed some examples?
Furthermore, rarely appear. Against players who have 4K hands, badges of "X & Done" does not appear, so not too useful if occupy two lines HUD badges hardly appear (line 5 also appears to me almost never) .
Thank you.

Not sure how to express it better than in the manual:

Quote:
The expression gives you the probability of how often someone is going to give up postflop either by not cbetting the flop or not cbetting the turn and folding to a bet on the next possible opportunity. A high X & done means auto-profit for you when calling a preflop single-raise from this player.
When you open the composite triggering the x-done-badges you can see how it's calculated.

The x&done badges also only occupy one line of the HUD and so far the feedback regarding them is overwhelming positive. As you seem to have not much sample on your opponents you might want to lower the sample-requirements of these badges. An opponent with 4k hands will very likely not show up a lot positional badges like the X&done with the default sample-requirements. From my experience you need something in the area of 15-30k hands on someone in order to have enough sample for the majority of badges in this package.

The truth is that no doubt it's very good, but I still do not understand it. The truth is that if he had known that the badges were needed between 15K and 30K hands, would not have purchased the pack, I have so many hands of any player, and .es not think you'll ever get.
Thanks

You were using the package as trial before buying it, so i assume you saw how it works out for you. All badges and their requirements didn't change since the day when you were on the trial. Not sure what i could do more than to allow everyone to check out if it fits for him by taking advantage of the trial.

In the manual you also have instructions how to adjust sample-sizes for the badges, so in your case lowering the sample-size-requirements might be the solution.

Also note that within the next weeks manuals in Spanish and Russian will be added.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Yes, it is true that I had a trial period, but there were things I liked a lot, like popups and stats vs REG, and I comparlo, the popup "NCP limped / Call" has disappeared, and instead has since "NCP Limp" much reduced, others have also been reduced information. Many stats are not linked popup, and gone are the stats vs vs REG and TWIN (although the latter did not understand too well).
I understand that things are improving and I understand, but I have seen now (during the trial did not realize), a pack of notes basically to play against regular, as against casual players will never have enough hands to exploit properly with this pack.
I try to adjust the sample sizes to see if I can be more useful against casual gamers.
I look forward to translating the manual into Spanish.
Greetings.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

If you want, pm me your email and your HM2-license-code and i'll refund you. This is an exception as i assume that 2 weeks should be enough to figure out if a package suits you or not.

Regarding the changes in the last update: there was way more added than removed. The only reason for removing things is to keep this package somewhat usable on todays computers. Amount of definitions from previous to current release increased by round about 400 definitions netto. I post release notes before every new release of the package, in this thread so every user may judge on his own if he wants to install it or not.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

I do not want my money back, I'd rather try to modify the sample to appear before me the badges.
Is it possible to make a copy before you modify them if then I want them back without having to modify the values again?
I guess doing export to a folder of all the badges before you modify it would be possible also to have a copy before you modify them if I do something wrong.
My idea would be that the badges apareciesen with 3 samples. Would too little?
Thanks for the offer money back, I prefer a little research all the notes and use them to create me something more personalized, but the modification of the samples for logos will be crucial.
Greetings.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Best way for making changes to the composite-definitions (at least for me):

1. copy the expression of the composite into a txt-file

2. paste it a second time into the txt-file and make the changes

3. copy/paste now the modified expression into the composite and save it

4. at the bottom of the composite you have a test-field, put in there the name of a player with decent sample-size in your database and check if it works as supposed

5. if you are not satisfied with the outcome copy/paste the unmodified expression back into the composite

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Thank you very much, I've tried changing the> 9> 3 and> 4> 2 and now more badges appear. I hope you do not give erroneous results or bring me to play erroneously, in which case the will to change.
I have another question in the trial version appeared ranges below the popup with the variables $ cardrange, which I find very useful. In the new version I have not seen, nor in the popup or help file, would you have taken?
Greetings

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

In the pop-ups you have to hover with the mouse over the stat and it will show the range in a heatmap. Heatmaps are attached to all preflop-stats covering raises and calls. Set your theme in HM2 > Settings > Display Settings to "Dark" for better visibility.

I forgot to mention to your last question that if you make modifications to composites, please make a backup of them. Easiest way to do this is to right-click the definition and export it into a folder on your harddrive. So next time when an update for the package is released, you just install it and then import the modified definitions from your folder. Like this you don't have to modify them every time when an update is released.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Hi, thanks for the advice of backup, I had not thought of and I spent quite a while in them all. I guess if there is a change in the insignia on an update have to change it by hand again.

Theme ranges, the heat map is very useful, but I have it in text below the popup is much faster to consult, especially playing multiple tables. It takes me a while to load the popup when I want to consult (my pc is an AMD FX 8350 with 16Gb of RAM, 8-core processor, in Windows7 64 bits) and then it takes a while to load the heat map, which I is not helpful. Do not know if I will be the one that happens.

My questions about the badges of "0 & done" and "1 & done", after reading the manual many times, I understand that gives information on whether the villain shows weakness in some street, being the preflop raiser, check playing somewhere street. With a low "X & done", the villain folds when not playing check. And with a high "X & done" indicates that it folds to show weakness, playing check.

Is that so?

Does it serve any street? that is, do the results accumulate if once shows weakness on the flop and again on the turn or river?

And finally (for now: D), what is the difference between "0 & done" and "1 & done"? I've only seen that changes the color of the badge and the percentages of activation, but I see more differences.

Thank you very much for your patience.

PD. Sorry for my english but it's basically google translator.

In the package are now only heatmaps used as you could not fit that much notes in a pop-up. That said, you can still assign the for you important range-notes to the pop-ups. The only thing you need to do is to open the definition, go to the tab "HUD Options" and there you have "Show in HM2 Pop-Ups". Assign it there to the desired pop-up.

Regarding the slow loading of pop-ups: your machine is powerful enough to handle the package (AMD is not the best choice, but should be ok). Did you make all recommended tweaks from the performance-guide?

You have X&done badges for IP and OOP for each position. Here the postflop-actions for each:

0&done IP: PFR checks behind on the flop and folds to a bet on the turn

1&done IP: PFR cbets on the flop, checks behind on the turn and folds to a bet on the river

0&done OOP: PFR checks on the flop and folds to a bet from the PFC who is IP

1&done IP: PFR cbets on the flop, checks on the turn and folds to a bet from the PFC who is IP

The way how the probability for the check-fold is calculated you can see in the composite. There's an additional condition in it: the player's Skip Cbet & Fold must be bigger than 40%. The definition switches dynamic into vsHero.

Meaning of high and low:

low: you need some equity

high: profitable without any equity

Hope this helps

You need to import the HUD-file "Predator-HUD" from the folder "NoteCaddy Coaching Pack Files". This will fix it.

Re: NoteCaddy Predator

Thank you, very clear now the "X & done".
Yes, I had configured the HM2, the NC and the config since I tried the trial files, what happens is that I have many notes created by me I want to keep and I guess that impairs performance.
The truth is that with fewer requirements for badges, I get most often and help me to decisions. Useful everything.
If I get more inquiries and I will comment.
Greetings.

It would be nice to add a High/Low Fold To Cbet Badge to BN Fold vs CO hud stat

Will be in the next release. Should be ready for roll-out in the next 2-3 weeks.

Simply ...
Mini-badges "fold to raise after cbet" by street disappear from this "coaching package"?

Why?

edit: (mini-badge: Donk flop fold to raise too)

Both will be back again in the next release ("fold to raise after cbet" maybe in a different way). In case you don't want to wait for the next release pm me your email and i'll send you the files. Can't give an ETA for the next release as i have to wait for the outcome of possible changes to Stars' ToS discussed in this thread:

What will happen with the pack of notes?
Prohibited by PokerStars will be left all NoteCaddy or only packs?

I only see maybe something like 10-15% of the definitions of NC Predator affected by the new ToS (in case Stars really will change them) and within a few days the package will be changed to be compliant with Stars' new ToS.

That said, i don't know more than you and we have to wait what will be the outcome.

Thanks, but I do not usually play on PokerStars, only occasionally, usually set at 888 and TitanBet. Are You adapt the definitions to the Terms of Stars only?

Thank you.

That is obv not depending on me, it depends on NoteCaddy. If due to new ToS (in case there will be changes) on Stars NoteCaddy will remove features, they will automatically also be removed from the package.

Tough to answer but I understand the question. Certainly the goal would be to not impact more people than absolutely necessary
