Yw... it should work for just about any database, but we officially support Drivehud, holdem manager, and poker tracker.

It's not working with hm2 for me. Do i have to go to set up settings on hm2 and allow the card catcher to work? Also, clicking on online manual on the card catcher isn't making a link pop up...

No, but I'd first click on settings in the pppoker card catcher and make sure that your database is set to HM2. The online manual is located here:

I have managed to get the catcher working with PT4, all is pretty good and working well

My only issue is that your software captures by name rather then PPID, is there anyway this can be changed at all? I was using a HUD before which goes off the PPID and it means you still retain stats on opponents after a name change, with this new hud my old DB becomes useless and I have to rebuild, which I dont have a huge issue with just wondering if there is a way to circumvent this.

Yes. It already uses the player ID if you use it with Drivehud. I guess they set it to username with PT/HM because otherwise it's difficult to know HUD positioning. PT/HM only support one player name, where in Drivehud we support two so we can show both. I spoke to them and they'll have the next update with and ID option. Thanks.

I'm trying the HUD at the moment. It works well from the start, however if I swith tables midsession the HUD doesn't work on the new table. Do you have a fix for this?

You're using the latest version above? I haven't heard of that issue, but if you send a log by clicking settings in the catcher, click create log, and send that .zip file to support, they'll be able to tell you what's going on.

Hi 2 things:
1.Any option to add converter from AsianPokerClubs to Ipoker format? Many of us would like not to start from scratch again since the other converter uses different format.

2. It seems that your converter screen scraps nicknames which is not a big deal but you can change your nickname mulitple times for super cheap in pppoker. Is your converter recognizing it and will the player stats remain the same ? The other converter uses the pppoker data and assign players correctly based on PPPoker ID number which always stays the same despite the changes in nicknames.

1) It will export as ipoker.

2) If you're using HM2/PT4, there is no option to store both ID and username. . So in order for your stats to track past one session, only the username is stored. So yes, user can change username. If you store just ID, you won't be able to see seat position easily. If you're using our main solution with it - Drivehud, DH stores both ID and username so you can track and see both in hand histories. My best advice is if you're using HM2/PT4 is to enter their ID into a note if it's someone you're playing a lot and want to analyze.

I think you misunderstood me. What I mean is this ,example: Player PP12345 with a nickname X plays 2k hands and I have his stats in my HUD he changes his nick to Y I want the stats in HM2/PT4 to show like he was still player X cause he is his PPPoker ID is still PP12345 but he changed his nickname within pppoker software. If your converter recognizes him as new player it is terrible as people change their nicknames on pppoker all the time especially regs.

Nope, I understood. I'll try again... HM2 and PT4 only have ONE place to track a player. So you either have to track their player ID or their nickname. If you track and show only their player ID on the table, you won't know who's HUD is who's hud because the table only shows their player name, not their ID (this is a hidden number). Do you understand?

Where's in Drivehud, we track both the player ID and username. So if you mouse over their HUD you will see both, and if user changes their player name, it will still track their data because it's linked to their user ID.

So there's a small limitation in using the card catcher with HM2/PT4, but the alternative - track their player ID, you will never know if the HUD position that is loaded over the player you're using is the correct HUD. So there's just no way around that. You need to know the player name. Not everyone changes their player name, so you'll still have data on most players and you'll be able to track your results, which is really important.

Yes I do understand but this pp ID number is extremly easy to reach basically by clicking player and having his player window popup and it clearly shows player ID so having the pppoker ID used instead would be preferable as long as it is capable to show the HUD in correct places with correct players. I understand what you mean just don't like how easy it is to angle with the current system.

Hello, I want to export my hands from PT4 to HM2 for deeper analysis.

I exported hands from PT4 to desktop then import from desktop to HM2

However, all hands are errors.

How can I export hands from PT4 to HM2 with the correct format?

I also tried checking the raw Hand History file but could not find it in the PPPoker Card Catcher Hand History Folder.

Try importing the original hands from the PT4 Processed folder.

We're adding an option in next update so you can choose if you want player ID or screen name. Some people want one, and some the other, so now you'll be able to choose.

Just checking that you saw in the latest build there's this option now in settings to choose which way you want to track your player data.

Do u support plo5? I want to get the raw hhs to be analyzed on pokeit software (plo5 analysis software)

No databases support pl05 yet. So it can capture the data, but it won't work.

We're adding it in to Drivehud here soon, but it's not released yet.
