I am building some weighted ranges and it seems that it's saying part of the range is ungrouped, but in reality that part of the range is not being played.

In this example there are 110 hands in range, it says 18.44 are ungrouped. If I select remainder, all hands are grouped but it's grouping the weighted parts that are not used into the entire range. Undo that and it goes back to having the same ungrouped hands.

Hi
I am considering buying your product and one of the most attractive features is the ability to use equity realisation profiles. I am aware that I will need to construct my own using a solver (unless you can tell me where to find them!?)

Am I correct in stating that to work these out I would need to:

a. Run solver for a variety of different types of flop (to do this, do I do 100% range versus 100% range?)
b. Compare solver equities versus raw equities (gives a %). Am I correct in stating that this should give me a closer approxmination to the actual playability (assuming player skill levels equal)?
c. Assign a nominated skill level for playing OOP v fish, OOP v good reg, IP v fish, IP v good reg

I should do all of the above but for differing stack depths eg. 10bb, 20bb, 30bb_____100bb

Am I missing anything?

Obviously this is already looking a bit of a meaty project, so any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Bot

imo ... your basic procedure is correct.

a. I guess you have to run this task not only for "random vs. random", rather you should do it for all the interesting spots with diffferent ranges.
btw ... you can find representive flops here: http://www.power-equilab.com/Manual/...tm#_Toc8913014
b. Yes, i agree
c. whow ... lot of work .. good luck

Hi

I recently purchased 2 licenses. Thanks for the quick activation.

I have installed ok on my main tower, but would now also like to use my laptop. I have downloaded PE to my laptop and it states the machine code, but there is nowhere that I can enter the license code. Instead it refers me to the payment page. How do I enter my license into the 2nd machine?

Furthermore I noted that you are looking at IOCM sims in beta. Is thsi going to be for both pre and post flop?

Hi I have a problem with the normal version equilab.

I think I found a bug.

So I'm trying to input some of my opening ranges, and to represent frequencies I do a suit selection. So at one point I try to split the flatting range from the 3bet range by splitting them up. However then the following problem came up:

This is the flatting range before editing anything, I have circled the hands where the problem will occur:

This is the 3-betting range before changing anything:

Now I want to change the weights in the 3betting range by giving each of the circled KXs three suited combo's, like so:

After this I save the new range and override the old range (the name of the range stays the same).

However if I now take a look at the flatting range which I did not edit it looks like this:

Is this in fact a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Is there an easy way to avoid this problem?

Sorry, you're right ... the older version did not include an uninstaller.
The best way should be to install the newest version and uninstall it.

When did the EV calculator (experimental) get added to PE? This looks greatly similar to CardrunnersEV. Is it?

I've been working with this program a lot lately and love it. Can you folks *please* develop a GTO solver? As it is now, I'm using PE with GTO+ because it just works so much better than Flopzilla or FlopzillaPro (IMO). If you had your own solver, it would be fantastic.

I'm trying to construct a range for BB to call vs a specific CO open. I'm using the heat map tool to look at equity realization. Are the numbers I'm looking at on the heat map real hand equity after equity realization factors, or are they (as the check box at the bottom indicates) % of equity realization?

Hi Captain,

there are two types of playability profiles:
- by equity offset
- by equity realization
In your case the playability profile is used (indicated by the check box) and you use the percentage of equity realization (indicated by the text in parantheses).

Hi everybody,

some changes in the new version 1.11.13.0

Some user implemented their own import with many brother and sister ranges. From now the number of groups are unlimited:

Improved hand history import with detailed tooltips and more columns. This works both with the Power-Equilab and the Power-Equilab EV calculation:

Much detailed options and combined options in the handstrength-distibution window:

... and some other minor changes.

Hello everybody,

We have implemented a small new feature in version 1.11.18.0:

Automatic grouping: Using various grouping models, various sub-ranges can be generated automatically for a given board. Of course, you can easily calculate the equities for all sub-ranges against all other ranks in the main window (HU up to nine villains).

Selection of various models for made hands and for draws:

Automatic grouping, here based on made hands:

... and here using the example of draws:

Of course, the models can also be combined:

Hi together,

Due to user requests, we have added some new display options for the card matrix (from left to right, various color options).
At the same time, we have now combined all display options in one dialog.

This settings dialog can be reached via the options menu (main window) or the context menu (right click over the card matrix):

For a better understanding, all options are provided with a small help popup:

- Some PIO users wanted the display option "Left to right":

Color option "Only this color": The text is painted in the specified color, regardless of how light the background is:

Color option "Smart automartic colors": The entire text is painted in one of the three specified colors, depending on whether the background is completely light, completely dark or a mixture of light and dark colors.

Color option "Inverted colors": For maximum contrast, individual parts of the text are painted in one of the two specified colors,
depending on whether the background is light or dark:

best regards, nopi
