One more question (for now ):

When grouping hands on the flop and you use "Select remainder", why does it include cards that are on the flop? Please see my picture and how it includes the Kh and Qd cards in this range which cannot be possible on that flop.

Will this affect any equity calculations?

Thanks!

Hi Googs,

set the global settuing "Display Card remopval" to "ON". Please take a look here: http://www.power-equilab.com/Manual/...#_Toc478638185

Even if card are in yosur range which colludes with the board, the equity calculation will not be affected ... these cards are not taken into account

Please help with a basic Equilab issue. The card matrix chart is not to scale. I noticed recently I was struggling to read the hand range chart. I posted in the equilab forum also but its been quiet. The card matrix chart does not extend to the down to the PFR sliding scale - it is condensed and stops a good inch above it. Any help is appreciated I am really straining my eyes at the moment.

The link is an example of the issue I am having. How do you screen shot on here?

Maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. When I'm using the Heatmap to see which combos are best/worst against a certain range PowerEquilab doesn't separate the suited combos by suit but in the matrix I only see average equities. ...
This should be solved in the newest version 1.10.23.0

Please check out the newest version 1.10.24.0

The calculation speed is dramatically faster (up to 20 times and more).
We have implemented a smarter evaluation algorithm an the usage of multithreading (if available).

Hi! I am trying to download power equilab, but it says that I can't because Windows Defender detects a Trojan virus. Is there a reason for that? Is it Window's fault? Is there a way I can download equilab safely?

Hi,

this is definitly a false detection from Windows Defender.
Alternatively you can download a mirror of the installed directory here: http://power-equilab.com/download/Application.zip
Just download and unzip it to your installation directory (mostly "c:\Program Files (x86)\Power-Equilab" )

- in the "Grouping options"-tab: right click on the desired colored group button
- choose ""Delete group"
- "Yes"

or

- in the "Grouping options"-tab: left click on the desired colored group button to select this group as the actual group
- click "Clear" to clear the actual subgroup

Please check out the newest version 1.10.26.0.

- Hand range window / Grouping options: New in context menu over colored grouping buttons “Fit range based on child ranges” to remove all combos which are not used in child ranges.

Me again - Still using the grouping thing - which is super useful.

Is it possible to add the functionality that I can join two colour groups together (e.g I have a red group and a blue group on the flop, I want to join to two together as children of a green colour).

Another one, which would also be super cool is that I can make the colours specific to a street. e.g I have split my range flop range into bluff (red on flop), semi bluff (green on flop) and value on the flop (blue on flop), I would like to bring all this range to the turn as a blank range, and then again split the range into bluff (red on turn), semi bluff (green on turn) and value( blue on turn)

See, I used to talk this product up but a) there are few updates to the software when compared to Flopzilla, your directly competing piece of software b) you don't respond to support inquiries quickly c) it takes 12+ hours at times to activate a monthly subscription and d) you never got involved in GTO at all and have been left in the dust by the CREV/Flopzilla line of products.

The guy is on holiday at the moment. Still think this is as good as Flopzilla (CREV is great, but for different stuff) - what do you think is missing?

Hi HugeStacks,

a) hmm ... don't knwo how many updates there was at Flopzilla, but we have made over 20 updates in 2016, 19 updates in 2017 and so far three updates in 2018. Is the number of updates responsible for the quality?

b) sorry, you're right .. we will improve

c) Normally we will activate a subscription immediatly or in few hours. Sometimes it comes because of the time difference to a slightly longer wait. We apologize for the inconvenience.

d) Yepp, there is no GTO stuff implemented in the Power-Equilab. But we think that PE offers many other unique features. Please take a look into the online manual: http://www.power-equilab.com/Manual/Manual.htm

hmmm ... the problem is, that all brothers and sisters groups have to be completly disjoint. If you joint two groups to a new one, then the two original groups have to be deleted. Do you think this would be useful?

ok, the seems to be a useful option ... we'll think about it

Hey Nopi - i think if you can do the second idea (the one you said 'seems to be a useful option') then the first idea isn't needed.
