Actually i found the installer of .31 and it calculates the ev wrong
I played this hand and it show my ev bb should be -70 and allin equity is empty



Can you tell me which is the latest version which actually calculates the ev correctly?

Any hands where players have the opportunity to act after another street is dealt following an all-in are excluded from these calculations as it introduces a bias in the results. When further actions are possible after more information becomes available (after the flop is dealt for example) then the players who can act have further choices, and only the stronger hands are likely to get to showdown.

Hi -- I posted this on your support forums on your website + opened a ticket but haven't had an answer.

My notecaddy has been messed up for a bit so I took some steps today by following other answers on these forums but it didn't work.

I DL'ed the latest verstion of PT4. I reset notes. I uninstalled then reinstalled the ultimate packs. I went into the Windows/User folded and moved all those XML files into a backup folder (I never put them back...).

My notecaddy was saying API error before I took all those steps. Now there's just nothing in that spot in the HUD at all. Also when I used to click on my HUD numbers it would open a box and at the bottom of those boxes would be more detailed explanations (notes essentially) like 10.1-15BB shoved KK, AA, A5 whatever. Those are now gone also after I did all the tweaks today that didn't work.

The basic HUD functionality still works just he Notecaddy emblem (then when u click it...drop downs) are completely missing. + the detail I used to get from clicking on numbers the text is now gone...

I'm not sure exactly what the situation is with the issues on NoteCaddy right now, but if you let me know your ticket number I will make sure it is followed up.

Hey guys.

Is there a way of filtering results by position ? Specifically, I'd like to know how to filter hands, for example, "calling 4 bets out of position". I know there is a way to get the exact positions using a number system, but I'd like to get it in more general terms.

Hope this is the right place to ask questions about how to use the software.

There isn't a filter for in or out of position against specific actions, and preflop there are different ways of looking at being in or out of positions.
However, for a case like calling a bet (4bet in this case) where you will see the flop you can filter for calling a 4bet preflop, and then being out of position on the flop.

For example you may want to add filters like this:

Hand Details -> Number Of Players -> Players Seeing Flop -> Between 2 & 2

Hand Details -> Player Position -> Flop -> Active Player Position Relative To All Opponents -> Relative Position of Selected -> Is Out of Position

..in addition to:

Actions and Opportunities > Preflop Calls > Called 4Bet

Is this software still supported? The only response I received in a week and a half was "we rolled back the update this should be good now" basically boilerplate reply.

It's been over a month and I've had two generic replies in that time. Can you help me? It's advertised that most tickets are responded to within 1 day. My experience has been 180 degrees from that.

I've been trying to escalate your issue with NoteCaddy support. After your post on our forums earlier this week I was told you would get a reply on Monday and that hasn't happened. I will raise the issue again for you but unfortunately I don't seem to be having much success.

PT4 Omaha owner for years, I just bought Holdem and there's no place to enter in the registration code to unlock it??? When I go to the register tab its just a message saying my holdem trial expired, very frustrating lol

If you bought a new license (instead of upgrading your existing license) then please open a Support Ticket and explain the situation and we will be able to merge your licenses so that you have access to both games.

had an issue tonight where the HUD wouldn't pop up on WPN (America's Cardroom) tables. PT4 grabbed all the hands, though--it's just the HUD never popped up on the table.

Can you please enable logging, reproduce this problem you have described and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File -> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and depending on your Windows settings it will be a text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log':

Is it possible to replace the Position field with the actual seat # (0 through 9) instead of CO, BTN, BB, etc?

I've looked through your schema and I can't find where those seat #'s are stored in the database.

I was not able to reproduce, seems to be working fine again.

That can be done with a custom statistic - see this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The players position number in each hand is stored in cash_hand_player_statistics.position or tourney_hand_player_statistics.position depending on the gametype.
