My apologies if this been answered previously - is there a way to record the results of zone hands in ignition for PT4? My understanding is the HUD is not functional while playing, but would like to have results recorded afterwards if possible.

I understand that some Zone tables are showing "Null" instead of the table number in the title, and that will prevent the Hud working properly. Can you confirm whether or not you're seeing that at the tables which aren't working?


Because the data from Zone tables is incomplete (cut off at the point at which you fold) and because the Hud can't be shown we disable grabbing of Zone hands by default. We recommend instead that you download and import the hand histories directly from your site.
However, it is possible to enable grabbing for Zone hands via the Options (gear/cog) button on the Status window. See the Guide: Zone Poker for more info.

Its Blitz on WPN thats having the issue, zone is the fast fold variant on Ignition/Bovada/Bodog. Yes for me the Null tables are the only ones that are messed up, others seem fine.

How do we export HHs AND the notes attached to those hand histories?

On a related note, I sent a buddy HH file with a bunch of hands from a single tournament. He sent them back supposedly with notes.

How can I import to see? PT4 is recognizing the hands as duplicates because I already have them in my database.

You're quite right - I used the wrong word. I should have said Blitz instead of Zone.

You can filter for player note color using My Reports with an expression filter like this:

1 in (select id_color from notes where id_x=cash_hand_player_statistics.id_player)

where 1 = yellow, 2= green e.t.c. and you will need to substitute 'cash' with 'tourney' if you are in a tournament report.

Exporting hands will not include notes as it just exports the hand history text.
Currently the only way to transfer notes between databases would be to export all of the notes using Database > Notes in the menu. If you import the hand histories your buddy sent you to a new database and then import the notes they exported that should work.

Hi,

I would like to check the 3bet poptend and I am having some trouble. I would like to filter down the following scenario. Someone raised first in between 1-3.5bb (Hero or any other player)then the first raiser faces a 3bet Allin what the first raiser calls. My logic is I filtered eff.stack between 7-12bb, NOT raised first in, saw river, NOT preflop raised size is between 1-3.5, however it is clearly wrong

Is it possible to assign different HUD background colors to different Villains?

Like if I think someone is good I can make their HUD blue and if they're bad I can make it green? Something like that.

No. You can assign manual colors via the note icon and the border will get colored the same provided 'Outline Player with Player Note Color' is enabled in 'HUD -> Edit HUD Options -> Advanced'.

PT4 is not tracking bomb pots on ACR. Any plans to fix this?

Also, do you ever plan on fixing the EV for cap tables on ACR, specifically hands that are capped before the river? It's been an issue for a very long time.

Correct. I assume it's on ACR to fix it then. Do you have any contact in there? Would it be possible to make them aware of this bug.

There is a 'Minimum Hands Required' filter in 'HUD -> Edit HUD Options'.

These are not typical poker hands since they have no blinds. We currently looking into support and if you want to be notified of any change in this regard please open a Support Ticket.

I don't have a specific update on this issue but you can open Support Ticket about that and to get notified when a fix is available.

Just want to confirm that the latest PT4 update supports and tracks the stars allinequity cashout feature.

So if I cashout or they do the hand history and graph will reflect the actual amount of money you came away from the hand with after the cashout.

I'm trying to look at home much this would impact me. How do I filter for hands that went all in before the river where I can set it to filter for hands where I had a certain amount of equity when it went all in?

So say I want to see a graph of all my 10nl hands where I went all in with more than 90% equity or between 40-50% equity?

Yes and you can see details of the statistics that were added to PokerTracker 4 here. If you want to use that information in the 'Graphs' section take a look at the tutorial video on that report page (the green "?" icon). The example is for rakeback but the principle is the same.

There is a custom report available in the Download Warehouse called 'All-In Equity under 51%' that you can edit for other equity ranges although you will not be able to see the results in graph form.

Is it just me, or did the ignition hand grabber suddenly quit working? Had been working very well for me through last Saturday night. Played last night and it didnt grab a single hand

How do I download and save the custom stats I've created and custom HUD profiles? Are these things captured when I do a simple database backup.

I am not aware of a specific issue at this time so please enable logging in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure > Options' and then restart it. Reproduce the issue and then send your logs to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the log files by clicking 'File -> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window. Go into the 'Logs' folder and compress all the files there (not the Archive folder, just the files) and send them to us with your screenshot.

They would be saved during the backup process if 'User Data Files' is selected under 'Optional Files'.

Trying to set up my HUD. Right now there are only a few hands in my DB (I still have to import HM2 database) and I noticed that when I add the stat "fold to 4bet" it doesnt show a stat/number for most players. I assume thats cause there is no instance where they faced a 4bet yet. But I dont want the space to be blank. Any chance I can get something like "-" to show?

Also...whats the correct fold to 3bet stat when a player raised pre (2bet), faced a 3bet and folded? It is not "fold to 3bet preflop" right? Is it "fold to preflop 3bet after raise"?

You can enter your preferred character for that via 'Configure -> Reporting Options -> No Opportunity Statistic Text'.

Yes that's correct. You can also view descriptions and formulas for statistics via the 'Configure -> Statistics' menu option.

I’m a PT noob. I use poker tracker 4 on the PS in PA and ever since the server restart I’ve been unable to use the software. I noticed my settings all got reset in PS which is annoying as hell. But I resumed saving hand histories and I’m getting the error unable to auto import for site PokerStars. I probably could search but don’t know where to start.

If it's set to save the hands then is PokerStars actually creating the hand history files on your computer while you are playing? Go to the folder set in PokerStars and there should be a folder with your player name and inside that folder would be the hand history files. I've seen on occasion hand histories not save to the default location (C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{PokerStars Skin Name}\HandHistory) so if that's the case try creating and setting a custom hand history folder (e.g. C:\StarsHH) instead in both PokerStars and PokerTracker 4 (Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> PokerStars).
