Not working for me either. Getting hands but no HUD. It was working a few hours ago, then not for the $888 gtd.

It's working again. I closed the tournament table, rebooted PT4, and got back on the table and the HUD came up.

The Ignition Hand Grabber is still in beta and there may be a few bugs which need resolving so please enable logging in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure _> Options -> Enable Logging' and if you have any issue during a session please take a screenshot and send that to us in a Support Ticket with your log files. You can access the log files by clicking 'File -> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window. Go into the 'Logs' folder and compress all the files there (not the Archive folder, just the files) and send them to us with your screenshot.

I purchased PT4 NL Hold em; is there a discount if I want to add PT4 PLO?

I understand I could have purchased both simultaneously and received a discount, but at the time I didn't expect to be playing much PLO.

Thanks

If you want to add Omaha to an existing PokerTracker 4 Holdem license you can do so via the upgrades page.

I use pokerbros and I get an email of a hand history. I am thinking of converting into a format that I can then import into PT4. I haven't purchased your software yet but can you tell me what format should I convert the hand to than I can use with PT4? I can test it out on the trail version and buy it if everything works.

Thanks!

Notes are stored in the database the only options is to try and recover the entire database using the PostgreSQL 'data' folder if you have it. With regards to HUD profiles they are stored here:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs\Data

Hands would need to be in the format of a supported site (we support pokerbros hands provided by the EliteHUD convertor). We have also added initial support for a standardized format of hand history and the specifications can be found at http://handhistory.org/.

Hi, I’m wondering if you can help...

I’ve had PT4 on my laptop and now on my PC. On the laptop I used to be able to click the HUD in game and it would come up with another box with more stats, on the PC this doesn’t work, is there something I have to activate in the PT4 settings?

There isn't a specific setting - the only requirement is that your HUD has popups which all the default HUDs have. Have you tried with a different HUD Profile? If that doesn't get things going please enable logging, reproduce this issue and send your log file to us in a Support Ticket:

Thanks for pointing this out. I am only interested in having a software to visualize the data and perform analysis. So I can convert it to this format , import it to PT4 and do the analysis irrespective of whether I use the HUD overall or not.

You can add them to your existing alias or create a separate alias for those:

Anyway to have the color of tag notes show up in a column of a player report like tag hands can do?

I tried asking this in the WPN thread, but I'll ask here too. Since the latest WPN update, no hand histories are being compiled into PT4. I checked the folder that usually catches WPN hands, and it's empty. And in the Import Status tab on PT4, I'm seeing this:

12:41:59 am: Winning Poker Network: Starting auto-import.
12:41:59 am: Winning Poker Network: Monitoring tables for Blitz Poker.
12:42:00 am: Winning Poker Network: Found 0 files to monitor.

Even though I'm playing 9-max NL and not Blitz. Any ideas? Is WPN just not offering hand histories now?

It's not possible to color columns.

WPN haven't stopped saving hands as far as I am aware. If your poker site isn't creating hand history files make sure that the option is enabled (Game Info -> View Hand History -> Options) and restart it. If it still isn't creating the files then you would need to contact your poker site about that. PokerTracker 4 will not be able to import hands if they are not being saved to your computer.

Does PT4 have an option to delete hands older than X time (1 year or whatever) from the database?

You can purge hands by date but that may take some time if that's a significant proportion of the hands and it may be quicker just importing the hands you want to keep into a new database.

Thank you Rob. The problem is fixed. For some reason, the folder I had been saving hand histories to was changed even though I never, ever touched it. Maybe it is because I had them going into a folder that was not the default folder, and their last update reverted it to a default folder for some reason? And most others had the default in effect, so didn't encounter an issue, but I did.

One more question: the bomb-pot hands are not being compiled by PT4... because they do not have a big blind. This causes PT4 to reject it. I realize that the simplest workaround would be to not play the dumb bomb-pot tables... but unfortunately they make up most of the tables at the level I'm playing at. Is there any way to address this or alter the hands? Thanks.

As you suggest, PT4 expects there to be a big blind in holdem hands which is why these hands do not import.
Please open a Support Ticket and attach an example hand history file including one of these hands so that we can pass it on to the development team to see if there is anything we can do about them, and let you know about any updates.

Yes.
If you have an ongoing problem I suggest either opening a Support Ticket or starting your own thread in the forum on the PokerTracker website - it's really hard to keep track of information in such a busy thread as this.

I'm experiencing multiple issues with Blitz tables on WPN.
After some time, PT4 mixes up the tables and stats don't correspond to a table, i.e. Table 1 will show HUD for Table 2 and vice versa. It's very confusing and hard to catch.
It keeps happening constantly, causing me to restart the client every 15 mins or so. Any idea what might be going wrong? FWIW H2N is experiencing similar issue, so it might have something to do with WPN. H2N was experiencing it before as well, but not nearly as frequently.
