The effective stack for each player is the amount they can lose in a pot as of their first action in the hand.

You can change what is displayed in your reports - see this guide:

If you delete anything in your PostgreSQL 'data' folder you will break your database(s). Usually 1GB equates to 100k hands but the exact amount of space taken up will also depend on the type of hands imported as well as using additional custom statistics. If you have more than one database you can delete those you don't need anymore but if that's all in one database then you can only recover disk space from that database by purging data:

Guide: Database Management

Guide: Purging Sessions & Tournaments

Purging a large amount of data will require some housekeeping which could take some time if your database isn't on an SSD and it could fail altogether and leave the database unusable if you don't have enough free space to complete the housekeeping. Another option if you need disk space is to start a brand new database and then delete the original.

Since I applied the 2020 quick hotfix update, immediately I noticed that my HUD and custom stats are working slower.
Custom stats especially seem slow.

That change should not have had any effect on speed. Please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your logs and see what is going on.

We have a guide for getting things setup with MPN here. If that doesn't get things going please open a Support Ticket with your log file where a technician can assist further:

If your client doesn't save hand history files then your poker site support may be able to provide you with downloadable files which you can then import into PokerTracker 4 using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'. Another option is to try an older version of the MPN client which should still allow you to save hands locally.

Hello,

I would like to change my HM2 to PT4, and I would like some help.

-in HM2, there is a report "number of players", where you can see all the stats break down as how many players is at the table. Is there any way to recreate this Report in PT4 in the same way like it is in HM2?

-I imported some test database from HM2 to PT4, and I noticed for MTTSNG (18man turbo)if I got eliminated before the FT PT4 shows the table as MTT Turbo instead of MTT 2-table Turno SNG but not all the time. What should I do if I want PT4 reads all the Sng's as 2-table Turbo SNG?

- I noticed some slightly difference in CHeV calculation in PT4 compare with HM2, Does PT4 calculate any ICM on the first table? Or the program calculate just simple ChipEV without any ICM impact?

Tny help would be appreciated.

No but you could create a custom statistic/report to group statisticsd based on the number of players dealt into a hand. There is also a statistic in the Download Warehouse called 'Table Size Grouping Stat' which does something similar.

For any tournaments with incorrect data you can update the information manually:

Guide: Updating Tournament Information Manually

If any of your tournaments are not being detected correctly you can send your hand history/tournament summary files to us in a Support Ticket.

There are no 'EV' statistics in PokerTracker 4 but there are 'Equity Adjusted' statistics. The 'All-In Equity Adjusted' statistic is the amount of chips won when adjusting for all-in pots however there are some situations where PokerTracker 4 does not calculate adjusted results as it would introduce a bias in the results:

Guide: All-In Equity

With regards to ICM and 'Net Adjusted Winnings' these calculations can only be done for final tables:

Guide: Net Adjusted Winnings Graphs

Thank you Rob for your help. One more question, When I add a tournament stack size stats. The hud shows Sign where I can adjust the stack size. I found the reason behind it, if I understand correctly both HM2 and PT4 was forced to stop running this stats automatically? So even if I use the newest HM2 the tournament stack size adjustment has no affect on the HUD, correct?

That's specific to PokerStars - see the release notes of PokerTracker v4.15.11 for details.

WPN do not include that information in their new files so that will need to be manually edited. As far as I know they are in the process of adding data to allow us to import complete tournament information and if you want to be notified of any change in that regard then please open a Support Ticket.

If you have a PokerTracker 4 license you can sign-up for the Hand Grabber Beta here if you haven't already done so:

Ignition (Bovada/Bodog) Beta Hand Grabber

The guide for the Hand Grabber can be found here (only cash games are supported at this time with tournament support to follow in a future update):

Ignition (Bovada/Bodog) Hand Grabber Guide

Whether you use decide to use the Hand Grabber or not you can manually import any downloaded hands from the Ignition client into PokerTracker 4 using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk':

Question about the RFI stat.

If somebody limps and then I raise, does that count as RFI since i wasn't technically the first one in?

That's not counted as the limper was the first player to enter the pot.

Native support for these hands had been added to PokerTracker 4 so a converter isn't required:

A HUD on Blitz tables isn't currently supported although WPN may provide seating files for Blitz tables in future and at that time we would be able to add support. You can open a Support Ticket to get notified if that happens.
