How do you, or can you, import hands from a LIVE session into poker tracker 4? Is that something that this software will do? I want to re-create hands to be able to watch them.

Are you going through an Internet proxy, or running from within a VPN? If so please disconnect and try again. It's also possible your security software or ISP is blocking access to ptrackupdate.com. Does your ISP have any web/parental filters built in? Do you have the option to turn them off? Several Internet Service providers have previously incorrectly flagged ptrackupdate.com and have blocked access. As an alternative if you cannot configure any ISP filters you can try changing your DNS servers to use Google's public DNS following the instructions linked below which should get around any ISP's blocklist:

For the purposes of calculating whether a CBet is profitable the money you have already invested is now a part of the pot and no longer considered as your money so the results you are seeing in PokerTracker 4 with that filter are not the same thing. Did you read the end of the thread I linked you to previously?

It's not possible to automatically add text to manual player notes and PokerTracker 4 doesn't differentiate between different skins on the same network.

If you search the custom statistic forum or the Download Warehouse you may find what you are after. Some of our Premium partners (like PokerProHuds among others) may also sell these kinds of stats.

PokerTracker 4 is a tool for online poker players so that's not currently possible so the only way to do that is to create complete hand histories in the format of one of our supported sites in order to be able to import it into PokerTracker 4.

In that case is there a way to diffieraent the player pool in a poker tracker report and single out or highlight players that the hero has made a manual note on so that i can manually go through the notes i have made on players and add the suffix

There is a 'Player Notes' custom stat in the Download Warehouse however it's not specific to manual notes if you also use NoteTracker - see this thread for details.

Who is your Internet Service Provider? We have been incorrectly blocked for no reason by some - see this thread for details on how to workaround that. I'd also recommend contacting your ISP to inform them of this issue. I will also send an alternative link via PM if you have trouble configuring your DNS settings.

I don't have a confirmed date for support at this time but you can get a notification sent to you when it's been added by opening a Support Ticket.

Since today I got the attached error on PS. Does anyone else get this? On PT4, it says that the latest version is not backward compatible (i.e. my whole database would be gone). That's totally unacceptable, and why is a formerly allowed version suddenly illegal when the new one isn't?

My all in adjusted stat has always been the exact same number as my c won no matter what filter I use. I can have no filter with all my hands or a super specific one with only a few hands. I'm over 25k hands so there's no way I've always been perfectly aligned with my equity. What am I doing wrong?

That is not an error and anyone using PokerTracker v4.15.9 or earlier will see this. It's a message from PokerStars informing you that you need to update PokerTracker 4 to the latest version (v4.15.10) to enable you to continue using it on PokerStars.

That sounds like you are updating from a very old version of PokerTracker 4 and your database needs updating for new features that have been added since then however your database will not be 'gone' when you update but once you have updated you will not be able to revert to an earlier version before the database update as the updated database will not be compatible with earlier versions of PokerTracker 4 before that update.

PokerStars recent rule changes required some changes to PokerTracker so we comply with their terms of service - read the release notes for PokerTracker v4.15.10.

Is this cash or tournaments? Bear in mind that for tournaments that 'My Currency Net Adjusted' can only be calculated on SNGs or MTT final tables. If that's not the problem please include all relevant information detailing the problem (calculations, screenshot(s)) in a Support Ticket along with your log file and a sample of all-in hands that are not working for you:

my ISP (vodafone germany) is blocking the site too. i used mozilla-cloudflare DNS to enter the ptrackerupdate.com site but to be able to click the "continue to update" (or something like this) i HAVE to download and install some sketchy software called getjiggyapps ( i think it was called something different but similar, cant remember i closed DNS). this seemed to be the reason why my ISP blocked this site too. this seems really odd and i didnt want to download this crap. whats going on there?

Late edit: i tried using different DNS providers now and i can enter most other websites with them but ptrackupdate.com is still forbidden with those i tried. it worked just once and then immediatly this strange installer (not the update!) popped up.
also can you please elaborate on why we pt4 customers now have to enter some site other then the trusted official pokertracker.com to download software updates?
just for my understanding: if i already installed the latest update v4.15.10 i still have to get the additional update on ptrackupdate.com to get hud running again?

On ACR, when I'm using the HUD, the stats are below the wrong players by one. How do I rotate it so that they're correct?

Exporting hands is a single process whether that is your entire database or a specific set of hands. If for example your database was lost then you can reimport those hands but there is no need to export new hands because PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories to your 'Processed' folder unless you play on Microgaming (and don't manually backup your .dat file) or want them as an extra failsafe. If you backup your poker data then that can be restored without having to export/reimport hands.

I am not familiar with Mozilla-cloudflare DNS but editing your DNS settings directly in Windows does not require the use of any third party software and those settings will be applied to any web browser you use. Also as far as I know everyone I know who has been blocked by their ISP and switched to Google DNS settings in Windows have been able to download the update.

We are not asking you to download PokerTracker 4 from another site - that's not how DNS works. Please do not download PokerTracker 4 from anywhere other than our official site - we do not upload it anywhere else. If your ISP is blocking us then you should let them know but in the meantime changing your DNS settings in Windows should get around your ISP's block and enable you to download PokerTracker 4 from our site. If you need further assistance issue please report this to us in a Support Ticket with any relevant inforamtion where a technician can assist you.

There is no update beyond v4.15.10 at this time as that is the last release. If that's a typo and you are using an earlier version then you need to be on v4.15.10 to use PokerTracker 4 on PokerStars.

For your HUD positions are you using preferred seating?

Also whenever you move/adjust the HUD you should then save those new positions by clicking the PT-icon and choosing "Save Layout". Please note that if you use the preferred seating option, the stats at your table may not move to the correct positions until you have played your first hand at the table.

How can I manually track MTT/SNG results on a site that is not supported by PT4?

I can't view stats. When i try, pokertracker isn't working anymore after a minute or so.

That's not possible without the use of third party software that converts hands into the format of a supported site. Bear in mind that we also don't support converted hands from unsupported sites so we can't guarantee that they will work correctly when imported into your database.

What I mean to say is strictly tracking results manually - not hand histories. This would only be for SNGs/MTT's - ie. entering all relevant information. Is there any way to do this?

I'm hoping someone can help me with the following problem with my PT4.

I just played 509 cash games which is shown in both the Results and Statistics tab. But in the Graph it only shows 347. I don't understand where the remaining hands went for this session? I've hit the refresh button... I've turned the program on and off hoping maybe it would import them somehow and I've turned the computer on and off. I'm at a loss. This is the first time I've notice a difference between the two.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No - the only way to get data into PT4 is to import hand histories and tournament summaries. You could create a fake hand and a fake summary to go with it, and import those. If you want to do that, export one of your own tournaments to get an example of the format you can use.


I suspect that you're filtering by date and you played past midnight, in which case the different reports can be filtered a little differently. Anything showing data by session will show the full session, but things showing data by hand (such as a graph) will be filtered to the hand level.
Mostly likely you can correct this by setting 'My Day Starts At' to a time you never play (e.g. 5am) in Configure > Reporting Options in the menu.

If that doesn't explain it please attach the full original hand history file(s) for that session to a Support Ticket with screenshots showing the problem so that we can investigate.

I thought exactly this but I stopped playing before midnight... The only thing I can think is we have Daylight savings where I live and it moved ahead an hour at 11pm. Not sure but your suggestion was correct. I changed my day starts to 5AM like you said and BINGO it's all fixed.
