Apologies for missing this when I posted replies yesterday. You can do this by creating a custom 'All Players Report', removing the 'Player' stat and then adding 'Hole Cards' in its place along with any other statistics/simple filters you need. If you want to remove your own cards/stats from the results you can add another filter for NOT(Player is Hero).

Thanks for the reply. I already know this. But it is not what I am looking for. By doing this I see just a bunch of hole cards without knowing with which frequency population calls with different holdings. Creating exact ranges for population with this method is not possible.

Using the holdem range visualizer isn't possible for this purpose?

If not, is there a possibility to create a global alias for population? Then we could use the holdem range visualizer.

Looking for advice/instructions on how to create a report that will tell me how frequently my population calls a single bet from BB when UTG is RFI.

The 'Hands' stat, which by default is included in a custom player report, will tell you the number of occurrences for each set of hole cards (there will also be a line for hole cards that's blank which is for unknown hands) and you can calculate the percentages from that information e.g. by creating a custom statistic or by exporting your report to excel via 'Right-click -> Export Report'.

It's not possible to use the visualizer for this as you cannot alias players that have played against each other.

To do that create a custom 'All Players Report' and remove the 'Player' stat to see data from all players combined and not broken down into rows for individual players. To remove a stat you can just double click on it under 'Report Stats'. You can then add the stats you want to the report by double clicking the ones you want under 'Available Stats' along with any filters you want to use. Additionally if you add the following filter: NOT(Player is Hero) you'll see the data from villains only without your own stats mixed in.

Two questions, i bought PT4 and used in two different computers (laptop and Desktop,i was using pt4 first on laptop and then Desktop,laptop is broke) now i am changing laptop, do i need to buy a new license? From what i read on the website is possible to use the Code in two computers at the same time, so its possible to uninstall pt4 and install in the 3rd computer? Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to understand the hands/hr feature of PT4. As you can see in this screenshot, I experience a large variability of hands/hr from day to day:



I'm having trouble understanding why some days I'm getting 750 hands/hr and others 280 hands/hr.
I play 4 tables of Ignition, two zoom, two regular. Sometimes I leave a bad table and wait a few minutes to pull up another, sometimes I sit out my zoom tables to use the bathroom, etc., but by and large I'm 4 tabling for 95+% of the sessions. So how can it be that some sessions/days I'm getting like almost 3x the hands/hr of other sessions/days?

You do not need to buy another license. The PokerTracker license always grants use on two different machines and you always get to pick which two, even if it's not the same two you started with.

If any two hands are played within 30 minutes of each other they are treated as part of the same session so if on some days you take more regular/longer breaks (but shorter than 30 minutes) then this will reduce the reported hands per hour. If you need any further assistance then you can send those hands to us in a Support Ticket.

That is intentional behaviour but I have forwarded your feedback to the development team.

Please report this to us in a Support Ticket with your full log file.

Try starting the import (Get Hands While Playing) before you start PokerStars and if it is not working after doing this please reinstall PokerStars. Once that's done start the importing first again but if that doesn't resolve the problem please send us a log file that's recorded the issue in a Support Ticket:

It isn't that important. Mostly I'm wondering why PT adds it. I've seen it in queries others have posted online so I assumed you would know about it and could provide insight.

I don't see this query in my logs but it looks like it might be something to do with your license so do you have a PokerTracker 4 Small Stakes license? Hands played in Swedish Krona (SEK)/Indian Rupees (INR) have to be accounted for differently when considering the stakes limitations (e.g. $1USD ~ 75 INR) and play money hands (PLY) need to be exempt from those limits.

I have a big DB , so I tried " Edit HUD option/stats from last x hands) ,It was very laggy and I was warned before , so I put it back to what it was.
Problem is , since then pt4 is not smooth anymore ,I was told maybe cache is broken and I need to rebuild cache or create new DB.
I tried to create new DB but pt4 couldnt import and sending error fetal etc etc /so I deleted that new DB and back to main one again and tried to rebuild cache but it didn't work either and the error was " too many column or something similar " so I cancelled it. all happened yesterday /
Today PT4 dont import hands , nor shows HUD at the table . it imported 1HH , than I clicked stop getting H , Now" stop getting H " is still white and didnt import ,so when I try to close PT4 , I get message " wait PT4 to import H" , however it was only 1H , so it not normal , what should I do ? should I force close PT4? why pt4 not showing HUD? why can I not create new DB ? are they all down to catche being broken ? Where can I find the list of Pg functionality PT's advanced report filters parser knows about?

For example being able to use the following would significantly reduce the time it takes to complete a report on a large database:

(select *, row_number() over (order by id_hand desc) as row

You can see all of the things you can enter if you click 'Insert' but if you want to do something more advanced you would have to query the database outside of PokerTracker 4.

Yeah, I have a lot to learn and was frustrated because I was failing.

My row_number() query problem was PT added a spurious group by to the query because I wasn't specific enough about a database column in a subquery.

Got it working:

I get this error message when trying for a new installation of PT4. “Failed to load SQL Modules into database Cluster”

I know it has to do with Postgres, but I have no idea how to fix it.

Are you on Windows? If so go to this folder:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\Temp

If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows then please refer to this guide. In this folder there should be a file created at the time of the install called "install-postgresql.log", "initdb.log" or something with "bitrock", "postgresql" or "postgres" in the name - please send us that file in a Support Ticket.

Is it possible to get MTT tournament stats in a pop up on the table in PT4? The sort of info that you usually have to go to the lobby for.

Something like: Tourney Buyin, Prize Pool, Current Position (ie 17/231/4500), ITM (451), Next prize jump (225) Current Prize $xxx, Top Prize $xxxx

Am sure Ive seen this on someones HUD recently but dont know which software and how to recreate it

This is happening to me since early October as well while playing at Party

My currency was set at -1.00
I switched it to 1.00 and got then clicked set rates which gave me proper session stats

This started happening randomly with an older version of pt4 so I naturally downloaded the lastest release, but nothing changed

I imagine something changed with a recent update at party

When I view my import status , I see pt4 downloading exchange rate 5 or 6 times for every hand played , yet it is unable to do so

I cannot find the Microgaming hand history directory for Pokertracker to import from. Does anyone know where it is saved and what the file name is, or are MPN cash games not supported by Pokertracker
