im getting a hud loading error on one table and it won't correct its self

Please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your logs, screenshots and hand histories to see what is wrong.

So basically you dont want to use this forum, but only PT - because things posted here should be cross-posted, but not the otherway around.

For your first example that particular poster has sent the same question in three different support channels. This could result in 3 different members of support staff taking time to reply which in turn leads to an increase in response time for other people waiting for support.

For your second example if someone has a query that is more technical, e.g. a HUD issue, then it is normal practice for us to request more information via our support system so we can review log files/screenshots to establish what's causing the trouble.

Tagging hands is not working for me on party poker, Playing cash games. Have tried on both regular tables and fast forward but when i try to find them in my database no marked hands come up. I see the hands in the database but the tags don't seem to stick to them.

Any idea why this might be?

Hey guys,

I've seen on my roommates PT4 and on Doug Polk's stream, that it you can have it show equity on each street for like 1 second after each showdown, and in my roommates case, it showed the board briefly, how do I do this? Also, my HUD shows like CBF: XX CBR: XX while some it just shows the number and not the stat name. How do I change these? Sorry, my PT4 skills are very basic.

You can find the options for mucked cards in the lower left of the 'HUD -> Edit HUD Options -> General Settings' window.

Go to 'HUD -> Edit HUD Profiles' and then click the 'Profile' dropdown at the top to select the HUD that you use. Next select the stat you want to edit and change the 'Prefix' property under 'Item Properties'.

Another question (I'm sure I will have many more to come...) when I go to final hands at showdown, it is missing certain hands I've played, specifically Quads I know I've hit, usually several months back. I remember having played these hands (often other people watched) and had PT4 on. But they don't show up there. Is it because I have hand histories set to save for only 30 days? If so, how does PT4 track things over time?

I would like to have some custom stats built.

At this point we need to know why pt4 sometimes shows a converted format, and other times you get the original format, using the same original WPN files and the same PT4 version.

The problem here is that when you copy raw hh in pt4 the output should be the original WPN format but for some reason PT4 converts it and makes it impossible for HRC ro read.

The fix need to be done in your end.

It does not matter how long the hand history files themselves are saved for because that information gets transferred into your database so if you have not changed database and/or reinstalled things in the last few months that data should still be there. PokerTracker 4 also moves the hand history files to your processed folder so you have them if you ever need them again for some reason.

See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The latter was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4, the interface is just slightly different. There may also be some stats similar to what you need if you search the PokerTracker forums or the Download Warehouse and you can then edit them if they are not exactly what you are after.

The hand history in your support ticket is a valid hand from WPN and it has not been converted or changed. WPN write two formats of hand histories so you'd need to contact HRC support about that.

Hello ,from time to time PT4 icon doesn't show at some tables ,and at the same time shows in others ! what could be the reason ? yesterday I was playing some spins , and it shows about 70% of time and didn't come on the rest and today I play tourney and spins mix , and it shows on tourneys but not on any of spins. so random !
What could be the case for this ? Thanks

I'm trying to import some hands from disk with a different alias. They seem to get imported fine but when I go to (for example) graph and choose to display the graph for the imported alias it shows up with nothing.
Same when I try to see results for the new alias and so on so it hasn't registered the new hands even though import seem to go smoothly.
Can you assist?

Is there a common reason why HUD is showing fine on HU cash tables but not on tournament tables on iPoker? I think it was a normal tournament (I don't play many of them).

Please open a Support Ticket with a PokerTracker4.log file that's recorded the trouble so that we can investigate that for you.

Please take a screenshot or two so we can see what is going on and attach those along with a sample hand history file to a Support Ticket. Get the entire PokerTracker 4 window and don't zoom in on anything.

The most common cause of that is not running your poker site software in English. If that's not the trouble then please report this issue in a Support Ticket.

In many posts on this forum I saw that people have in their PT4 graph window the rakeback shown (beside of net won,etc...). Can anybody of the PT4 users explain me how to include the rakeback into my PT4 graph window (I am playing Zoom on Stars and have Gold status). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Rob. I had a quick look at the log before I submitted and realised I was pointing to the cash game subfolder instead of the standard hand history folder.

Just a simple thing to check if anyone has the same issue.

It's a custom stat; go here and search for 'rakeback':

Then you want to 'Configure' Overlay Stats on the graph tab.

btw I think you're just going to have to estimate the rake percentage for Stars' VIP points or whatever they're called these days.

As dotbum mentioned you can download rakeback statistics to use in your reports/graphs from our Download Warehouse. Take a look at the rakeback statistics and see which is closest and you can tweak the values if the calculations don't match exactly. There is also a tutorial video on adding rakeback to your graph on the Graphs page (the green "?" icon).

Thanks for your reply. There are few different rakeback statistics (Rakeback Stats Using 50% MGR and Rakeback Stats Using 57.5% WC for PT4) in the Warehouse. I saw in the tutorial video how to add them to the graph, but how can I figure out if it is exact and if not how to tweak it ? I mean I know that with the Gold-Status you are getting about 23% rakeback at Stars. Should I change in the statistic "Rakeback Stats Using 57.5% WC" the value expression from amt_rake_weighted_contributed_curr_conv * .575 to amt_rake_weighted_contributed_curr_conv * .23 and which statistic (Rakeback Stats Using 50% MGR or Rakeback Stats Using 57.5% WC for PT4) matches the current Stars rakeback model better ?

I've searched through the thread and didn't find what I was looking for.

My friend and I are playing at play money home games on Pokerstars and because of the rake it shows we're both losing, which is not funny because we want to know who is up and who is playing better. Is there a way to show our graphs (the swings and all) as if the rake wasn't taken out at all?

I'm an american playing in america on chico network (betonline) and ignition casino, i also have pt4 i understand that pt4 does NOT support either.

I also understand that i will need a converter for both of the sites i'm trying to play on.

If i wanted to create some graphs + db analysis is it possible to use those hh and plug them into pt4 and get some kewl graph.

PokerStars uses the weighted contributed method so you'd need to edit the expression in the WC rakeback stat.

Yes however converted hands are not supported so we can't promise that they will work correctly.
