I hope it will be possible! As a LHE player stats are must for reviewing hands. Would be nuts to review hands at work!

We want to add the HUD to our exported videos as badly as you want it added, the question is how. If and when we figure out how, then it will be added, I assure you.

In the meantime, did you know you can embed videos into 2+2 posts by placing the video ID between youtube tags as shown below. For example, if your video link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hIFi42SuFE, then the ID is 1hIFi42SuFE. It is that easy!

HTML Code:
[youtube]1hIFi42SuFE[/youtube]
To find hands uploaded by other players, just search for PokerTracker "Hand History" on YouTube.

Thanks guys! By the way, I would be happy if there were just some key stats like vpip pfr 3b agg% etc.

If we can figure out a way to add one stat, then we can add the entire HUD. It is a lot more complicated than you assume... but we are working on it, and hopefully we will find a solution.

Is there any way I can configure the hud to for example click the PFR stat and get a popup with the PFR raise by position, without placing PFR in a new group and if not, could that be implemented ? Thank You.

We do not include any default HUDs that use this ability in the Beta Preview, but we do have the ability to add a popup to ANY stat, even a stat within a popup. Thats right, if you are crazy enough to want to do this, you can place popups on your popups.

The stat Popup property is found at the bottom of the the HUD editor's Table Groups or Popup Groups pages. This functionality is not used in the Positional Popups editor, you must convert to freeform first if you use the Positional Popup editor.

So, back to ... june last year when the word came out on PT4 I was soooo excited , soon a year later , believe it or not I'm even more excited Now that people all around are trying the Beta stuff AND talking/bragging about it , I'm even more itchy!!
Anyway, I'm sure the folks behind the scene at PT are working hard, so all that to say : Go PT team!!! Lots of efforts already , you're almost there !!

Pokerstars just put Zoom in public beta on the test site. Do you expect to have a working Zoom hud when it goes live on the main site?

Our development team are aware of Zoom, but I don't know what technical challenges there may be yet. Our intention is to support it as soon as possible, but I can't promise exactly when that will be yet.

Will PT4 be able to import older hand histories (CG and MTT/SNG), like from 2008 or 2009?
PokerTracker 4 for Windows & Mac OS X - 2+2 Support Thread Quote

It should, yes. Legacy support for some of the less-played sites may not be complete, but if you come across any files from supported sites which will not import please attach them to a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and we'll look into supporting them.

We think we are finishing up with our latest round of alpha development which addresses the bugs found by the beta preview testers, once we know for sure that our fixes are solid, then we will be releasing more beta codes to the general public. Hopefully within the week... but it could take longer, it all depends on the results of our next internal beta test.

Since I don't have access to the PT4 beta, just wondering how different will PT4 be from PT3. Would a PT3 user be able to easily get to grasp with it or will there be a big learning curve involved?

We did change the interface in PT4 - in some places considerably - so there will be at least a little bit of an adjustment period.

That said, we tried very hard to make the new interface as intuitive and easy to use as possible. Have you taken a look at our preview videos? They show the new interface in a variety of spots and should give you a better idea of how things are going to look.

well its one of the YMMV. But after i struggled with the pt3 for 2 weeks with all kind of silly problems, PT4 was a enormous step forward in terms of .. well everything. I simply started using it right away after, maybe 15 minutes i spent clicking around just to understand the layout. its a "buy" for me ( even tho it's in beta). But again - some many man, so many ....

Thanks for the replies. Sorry to make it clear I'm not a PT3 user. I've just downloaded the PT3 trial a couple of weeks ago but haven't really looked at it yet. Just wondering if there was any point in looking at PT3 when the probable end goal is not to get really using PT until PT4 comes out.

Sounds like from the 2 replies that it's probably best to wait.

Well I'm using HM2 at the minute so I'm not without poker tracking software completely.

If you intend to get PokerTracker 4, then your best bet is to get PokerTracker 3 now. The upgrade to PokerTracker 4 is free to people who purchase PokerTracker 3 after June 10, 2011. The price will increase when PokerTracker 4 is released commercially, pricing for PT4 has not been announced yet.

Yes. You are allowed to install PokerTracker on two computers, regardless of operating system. Please be aware that the Mac beta of PokerTracker 4 will be delayed until a few months after the commercial Windows version is released.

Hi,

In PT4 database there are two tables: cash_hands_player_statistics and cash_cache.

When creating a "Report" in PT4 without filters used cash_cache. If you select a filter "Stake" is used cash_hands_player_statistics.

What is the difference between cash_cache and cash_hands_player_statistics.
How often do you update cash_cache and can be trusted with the data from this table?!

I hope you can understand my question. =) Thanks.

Regards,

I am afraid we cannot answer your question at this time. PokerTracker 4 is still in development, it is too soon to answer questions about the PT4 database schema or DB table usage because the schema is still being revised.

A very reasonable upgrade fee will apply. This fee has not been announced, we are holding back all pricing information until we are ready for the commercial release. This gives us the flexibility of altering our business plans as the needs of players evolves without tipping out hat too soon.
