If you are using the "per hour" version of those stats that will break the report up into sessions. If you don't want the report broken up into sessions use the versions of the stats that are not based on "per hour".

what can I do?
You should not import older hands using "Get Hands While Playing" as the auto importer isn't designed for large numbers of hand histories. Whichever folders you have added in PokerTracker 4 to your import configuration to do that you should remove. To manually import hand histories from your hard disk select "Get Hands From Disk" instead. Choose "Select Directory" to import all of the hands found in a folder, or "Select Files" to only import specific hand history files that you choose.

By "recovering" do you mean that you are restoring a database from a backup? If it's still restoring processed files you can safely cancel it and restart the restore with "Processed Hands" unchecked and it should proceed much faster. Processed hands are not required for your database to restore - they are the original hand history files and are only needed should you ever need to re-import them again to a new database. You can also extract them from the backup file if you ever need to use them again.

Can you please attach a screenshot to a Support Ticket so we can see what is going on. Get the entire PokerTracker 4 window and don't zoom in on anything.

Locate and delete the postmaster.pid file if it is present (not "postmaster.opts" which may be there too). You can find that file in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.3\data\ although you may have a different PostgreSQL version (e.g. 8.4, 9.0) or have it installed in C:\Program Files (x86). Once it's deleted, reboot and try starting PokerTracker 4 again.

Do tournament imports not work on ACR? Is there no way to see what place I came in, how much I won/lost etc? Seems bizarre.

Unfortunately ACR do not provide tournament summary information, and until they do there are no results for PokerTracker 4 to import. For single table tournaments we can usually infer the prizes from the tournament structure and buy-ins, but that isn't possible for multi table tournaments. For any tournaments with incorrect data you can update the information manually using the Tournament Results window.

Hey, how do I start a new graph. So basically I want to start recording a new set of results? I don't mind losing the data that already in the tracker, but would like to know if its possible just to be stored, in case I want to do it again.

Thank you!

You can add a date filter in PokerTracker 4 so you only see data from a certain date - that way you can keep HUD data on your opponents. If you want to start completely fresh you can create a new database instead and as long as you don't delete the original database you will still have that data and can access it whenever you want.

I want to filter my preflop shove EV.
There are two options on PT: "Went all in" (on "preflop calls" filter) and "Raised all in preflop" on "preflop raises" menu.
What I'm wondering is: when I choose "Went all in", does it also count hands from "raised all in preflop"? Or is it just preflop shove call hands? it doesn't seem very clear to me.
Even though "went all in" seems to consider every time I went all in preflop, no matter the action, the fact that it's placed in the "preflop calls" menu is confusing.

also, is there a way to use the variable "OR" instead of "AND"? i.e., player shoved OR called all in preflop. because it seems to only work with "AND" atm.

i took out the per hour stat and now i have the one line summary for each stake. so that is fixed.

i am trying to figure out the amount of money taken from the game by the rake in bb/100. so i am thinking that that would be: rake_attrib/size_of_big_blind/hands*100?

also, it would be nice to have the amount of rake that i contributed/100 hands.

i have the my c rake wc/100 statistic.

thanks

We understand that these all-in filters are a little confusing and the development team plan to alter them to make it clearer. If you want to filter for only calling all-in you can use 'went all-in' AND 'NOT raised all-in'. Also to get all of them you can use an 'OR' variable as you suggested - see this guide.

I am not sure what you mean. Doesn't the "My Currency Rake Contributed per 100 Hands" custom stat give you what you want? Do you want it in "Game Currency" instead?

ok, good to know that the amount of money taken from the game by the rake in bb/100 would be: rake_attrib/size_of_big_blind/hands*100.

My Currency Rake Contributed per 100 Hands is probably what i want (maybe in blinds)

i will try to get the first one working.

trying: amt_rake_attributed_curr_conv/amt_blind/cnt_hands*100
in the value expression window gets me an invalid value expression.

can anyone see what is wrong?

(amt_rake_attributed_curr_conv / amt_blind / cnt_hands) * 100

Is it possible on the replayer to filter hero´s HUD to show the data from a particular stake?

Hey I have been having pop ups when opening PT for a couple of months now about anything above 9.3 postgres not being supported and just ignored because it was still working. I played a session on sunday on PS and the hud fails to load, all the hands didn't load and PT4 didn't even recognise half the tournaments I had entered, the hands that did download into the DB were around 3 hours behind play and coming in very very slowly and I had no hud whatsoever for the whole day. Took over an hour for it to stop collecting hands just so I could close the program. Is this a Postgres issue and if so how do I go about fixing this asap please?? I have read that going back to an older version can cause all sorts of issues??

You can do that for every player, not just Hero, by enabling 'Stats From Current Cash Stake Only' in 'HUD -> Edit HUD Options'.

We have had several issues like this reported with newer versions of PostgreSQL and v9.3 is our recommended version and we have a guide for reinstalling PostgreSQL v9.3 here:

Guide: How to Manually Install or Reinstall PostgreSQL 9.3

Backing up and restoring a database from a newer version to an older version can cause problems but you can reimport your hands into a new database by either importing from your processed folder and/or exporting hands from the original database.

Do you want contributed rake as you said or attributed rake as referenced in the stat you are trying to build? To clarify rake attributed is the 'Total amount of money removed from the pot as rake when the player won the hand' and rake contributed is the 'Total amount of money removed from the pot as rake divided proportionately by the amount of money the player contributed to the pot'.

See this guide for the basics on custom statistics creation and this guide for a deeper walkthrough. The latter was written for PokerTracker 3 but the techniques all apply to PokerTracker 4, the interface is just slightly different. If you have any further trouble creating your custom stat please include further details on the problem (calculations/screenshots) on our custom stat forum or in a Support Ticket.

The built in stat for that is called "Live Amt BB" and you can add that to your HUD Profile in 'HUD -> Edit HUD Profiles'.

PokerTracker 4 does not know anything about a hand in progress so that cannot be displayed however there is an equity calculator available via the "Tools -> Equity Calculator" menu option although it will be disabled if any poker sites you have open do not allow it's use in their terms of service.
