Auto-import moves iPoker's player_notes.xml (among with other files) to processed files folder, causing notes & color tags to disappear. Have to manually copy them back to the original directory. (I think the move usually happens when iPoker's client shuts down due to inactivity, which is annoying cause some sites have ~20min automatic log-off which can't be turned off.)

Most irritating thing is that sometimes when it moves those files, iPoker's client creates new empty note file, which then again gets moved and replaces the original note file in processed folder. In this case you have to search for some older backup player_notes.xml which doesn't have the all the newest notes.

Can you both please open a Support Ticket with a PokerTracker4.log file that's recorded the trouble so that we can investigate that for you along with a sample of relevant hand history files.

Please check your import folder settings for iPoker. PokerTracker 4 should be configured to import from this folder:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{iPoker Client Name}\data\{iPoker Screenname}\History\Data

As far as I am aware the iPoker player notes file is currently stored in:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\{iPoker Client Name}\data\{iPoker Screenname}

which suggests you are auto-importing from this folder (or higher). When PokerTracker 4 is set to auto-import from a folder it will read that folder and all of its subfolders so if it's not set at the correct level then that can cause problems.

WPN have recently updated to brand new software with a new format of hand histories so make sure you have updated to the latest version of PokerTracker 4 which will import these new hands:

The hand history folder in the new client has changed so that also needs to be setup correctly in 'Configure -> Sites & Import Options -> Site Configuration -> Winning Poker Network':

If your WPN screenname includes a space then that is a known issue and if you open a Support Ticket we can send you a pre-release version of PokerTracker 4 with a fix for that. If that's not what's causing your issue then please enable logging in PokerTracker 4, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket where a technician can assist your further:

Hi Rob,

I play 5nlz on pokerstars with PT4. I'm getting a glitch with pokerstars where sometimes when I am playing, and I open another program, then come back to stars the tables will act for me even when I don't click on action buttons. It often happens with discord and sometimes when I check my PT4 results, minimize it, then it will glitch. I have been talking to stars, and just sent them a video of it happening with log files, and they don't have any idea. I'm pretty sure its not PT4 causing this but just wonder if you have any advice.

I've pasted a video link below of the glitch I'm talking about. If you look in the top left table, I am dealt 48o in the CO, check PT4 and then come back, click the center of the table and it auto minraises for me. This keeps happening when I check other programs, typically discord or PT4. However it has happened just using stars and not checking other programs.

I want to filter for "BvB" spots (Blind vs blind, where everyone folds to the small blind). How can I do that?

Is it possible for someone to post a recent tournament summary from say pokerstars which i can manually edit for import as a template for sites which pt4 does not support?

Ie i would like to get global poker results imported in pt4 (hand history not required, just results)

If PokerStars haven't been able to help then I probably don't have much to add. If you haven't already done so try changing settings in 'PokerStars -> Settings -> Gameplay -> Multi-Tabling -> General. Also if you are using a non-native resolution try changing that and/or if that's on a secondary monitor then try things out on the primary monitor and see if it happens there or not.

While you can filter for the position of the first raiser there is not a built-in filter for the position of the first limper however you can use the following filter expression in 'My Reports' which ensures the small blind was the first to open the pot by raising or calling:

You can use this expression filter by clicking on the filters link and selecting "Add New Expression Filters". Substitute 'cash' with 'tourney' if you are in a tournament report.

Is there a preference/ setting that will allow PT4 to automatically scan a folder for recently downloaded hands?

I have a folder on my desktop that I just download the txt files too. The first time I started PT4 I clicked the button on the bottom right and imported from the folder.

If you export any tournament it will write a summary as well as the hand histories, and you can use this generic format for your imports.

PokerTracker 4 will only automatically import from folders setup in your site configuration (Configure -> Sites & Import Options). The auto-importer isn't designed for large quantities of hand histories so for manual imports we recommend using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'.

As far as I am aware 888.pt uses the regular 888 software:

PokerTracker 4 only supports English so be sure when installing 888 that you choose 'English' if offered the option and that the language setting in the 888 client is also set to English.

Does pt work on swcpoker?

tourney hand history problem on WPN network. All hands import and save correctly except for the last hand of every tournament I play online.

I use PT4. I cannot find these hands under the "game info" -> "view hand history" in the client either. Does anyone else have this issue?

Unfortunately that site does not use software that's currently supported by PokerTracker 4.

I ask as some of the players on swcpoker are saying pt does track swcpoker no limit only games but shows it as play money is this correct?

I don't have access to any hands from this site to test with but since we don't support this site I wouldn't expect any hands to import without the use of a third party converter.

sorry if i'm late to the party on this, playing on true poker (WPN) and I can't for the life of me get the HUD to display on the proper seat location. have tried settings in client and PT4 for preferred seat along with another few configurations and it still won't work.

Ive tried exporting and all im getting is about 5 lines of continuous text with no breaks. It not only looks incomplete but also would be extremely difficult to manually edit and replicate.

Any other way? I do remember stars/FTP would email a nice pretty tournament summary .txt file back in the day if requested, but I no longer have access to that.

PokerStars should have records of all your previous tournaments and if you contacting their support directly they may be able to provide you with copies.
